"Mom! Mom!"
Su Ming went down the stairs in agitation. In her abrupt movement, she didn't realize that she was still holding her pillow in her right hand. Before she knows it, it was already too late, and she was already at the bottom of the stairs.
"What is it?"
Su Gi peeked through the door of the dining room. She was currently preparing for the lunch meal when she heard Su Ming shouted. She thought something must have happened and looked at her.
"Mom, is someone here just now?"
"Of course there is."
Su Ming's eyes bulge.
"Who is it?"
"Who is it? Of course your father. Why? He went upstairs just now. "
"No. No. No. I mean someone in my room?"
"You! Call the security. Maybe some thief had broken when you are sleeping!"
Su Gi shouted to the maids and to inform their guards. Later, their security personnel went to Su Ming's room to search for clues and possible things that might have stolen.
Su Ming was dumbfounded, and her jaw almost dropped while this was all happening. She didn't mean for things to escalate this fast!
"Mom, mom ... I think I was just half-dreaming. Maybe there isn't someone here." Su Ming was thinking about Su Ci Yi all these times that maybe it influences her inner subconsciousness. Either way, there is really no need to fuss about it.

"Seriously, this is too cruel. Whoever did it, has the heart of a monster."
"Sir, are we going to report it to the public? The mass media will really like to feast on this new piece of tragedy? It may even speed up our investigation towards the culprit if we ever let it out to the public."
The tall muscled and prim man wearing a blue uniform with a national city's investigation squad badge on his shoulder squatted in front of the pile of corpses. The victims were hooligans and notorious crime suspects roaming around the city. Now it seemed that they formed a gang and had stumble to a certain group of people where they end up being the victims.
Their body was left at the back alley of a tailoring shop around the district area.
It was only after a day that someone had discovered the body and reported to the authority.
The corpses necks were slit open in a uniform manner. The length and the deepness of the wound were totally congruent with each other. Much more, there was no sign of fighting back. It's as if, the fight was already one-sided.
Just how skillful were the people that they had encountered?
And these corpses...
These people were already been hunted for many years for their crimes.
Only to end up victim on this alley.
"Release the report after we thoroughly investigated the motive of the suspects. For now, get it to the autopsy facility first."
The subordinate followed his instructions and immediately took action.
While the man addressed as the head, is currently the team leader of the crime and violence investigative department assign in the C City.
He had just been transferred here from the remote province and he was on duty for only a few days when this happened.
Although this is what he is expected to do in his job, still looking over the decaying corpse, he felt a little off inside. When on the province, the major cases being reported to him, were only daylight robbery. Aside from people asking to fix their faucet or a cat stuck on the chimney... children who couldn't get down in a tree and finding for lost puppies; it was really different here in the city.
When for the first time he had to face a gruesome case.
"Sir, it's already settled. The autopsy team will arrive here after a few minutes... eh?" the subordinate behind him was stunned. This place is a restricted area and no unofficial staff is allowed. How come there is a woman behind the corpses manning their body and swatting as if she's investigating thoroughly?
The leader's name is Jang Chan.
He too was puzzled and stride towards the woman. Out of their busyness earlier, this woman slide on their sight. Just what the heck is she doing?
"Who gave you the permission to be here? How did you enter?"
The woman with a long raven black hair and passive expression looked at him in a bland manner. She wasn't even afraid of him in the slightest but directly fight his glare.
"What is your conclusion of this case? Have you found any clues?"
The woman even dares to question him straight on.
"What is it to you? You better go out here. This is a civilian restricted place. You are not allowed here, lady."
The man caught her in her arms and drag her outside. However, when he was about to step forward, he was stump by how heavy she is. Jang Chan looked at her in bewilderment. This lady looked little, yet weight that much? Just what is she eating to weight this heavy?
Yet Jang Chan didn't show his difficulty. He still dragged the lady in front of the exit point but to no result. It was like dragging a boulder that didn't budge in its place!
What is her skin made of?!
"Don't be a drag here. We are in a hurry. "
"I'm not in a hurry though."
The woman looked up and stare. "What did you found out?"
Jang Chan gave up in dragging her. With a heavy sigh, he spoke with irritation in his tone.
"Listen, our investigation is confidential. Only the personnels, and officers-in-charge have the right to know this info. But if you really insist, I will tell you the matter that I can disclose for now."
Jang Chan saw the woman compose herself and intently focus her attention on him. Is she that interest here?
Wait!
Is she the relatives of the victim?
If she is, then that explains why she is here.
