Right in front of Palkus and sitting on top of the desk nonchalantly was an elf—a dark elf, to be exact wearing a black dress with a white mane encircling her neck. She would have been the most beautiful girl Palkus had ever seen after his mother if she didn't look so drunk at that moment.
"Palkus, this is the guild master, Valentine. All you should know is that she's a crazy drunkard who has been influenced by her dwarf teacher." The instructor introduced the lady on the desk.
"I can see that." Palkus nodded.
"Hey! Don't ruin my chances with such a pretty boy that fast. Handsome, even if I look like this, I'm mature in other important areas." The guild master shouted at the bald headed instructor and gazed back at Palkus with a seductive glint in her eyes.
"No thank you, I'd rather have someone like Miss Receptionist over here." Palkus shook his head while pointing at the receptionist behind him.
"Oh wow..." The guild master and the instructor opened their mouths in surprise. The receptionist next to the door was blushing furiously after she heard what Palkus said, not expecting herself to be brought into the conversation in any way, and certainly not like this.
"You're one smooth, young man. I see. You never fail to surprise me, indeed." The instructor just smiled and shook his head with a sigh. He got up from his seat and walked towards Palkus.
"So how is the thing? is it done?" He asked.
"Yeah, it came out perfect. Here it is." Palkus took out the box from his storage once again and opened it.
"A pill?" The instructor raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah, that's what the recipe instructed me to do." Palkus replied.
"Where in hell does it say to make it into a pill? I read it a thousand times and nowhere did it say that." The guild mistress approached the duo slowly while cat-walking. It seems like she had no intentions of stopping her seduction of the young man.
"It doesn't directly say it, per se. You see the part where it talks about how to purify the one-eyed flower? That process needs a furnace, and a skilled alchemist, otherwise, they won't be able to make it no matter how hard they try." Palkus explained.
"Ah! So that's why? No wonder I couldn't make it." The guild mistress exclaimed.
"Well, I'm the only one who's currently like this, so that's not surprising." Palkus replied casually.
"I see... Follow me. Let's test the effectiveness of this pill." Without doubting if Palkus was truly a talented alchemist or not, the elf led the group inside the portal.
"I will need you to stay here for a little bit longer, Dagashi." The guild mistress tapped the instructor's shoulder with an apologetic smile.
*Sigh*
"Just go." He shook his head and said.
"Let's go, Palkus." The guild mistress turned to look at Palkus and gestured for him to follow her.
The young man followed behind her and the two entered the portal after the young saint did.
When all three resurfaced, they were inside a limitless expanse of greenery. The realm looked simple, with no trees, no rocks, no nothing, just grass going for as long as the eyes could see.
"We will have to fly all the way to the castle." The saint stated.
All three rose to the sky and, at phenomenal speed, crossed uncountable miles before Palkus started seeing the figure of a huge castle appearing in front of them.
The castle was mint colored and had multiple sharp towers somewhat similar to the station center castle Draco visited back in the prison realm, but this was the famous elven style known throughout the world.
The trio didn't take long to reach the castle and without stopping, they flew across the fortress around the castle and only came to a halt when they were in front of the entrance.
"Follow me closely from here on out." The saint turned to face the guild mistress and the young goman while instructing.
