Chapter 42 - Luna Arista

The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Suite,

"Raymond, I heard that you joining a group of tourist to explore this country, is that true?" Sarah asked the man who stares at the night view from the glass window.

The man did not reply anything to her while he keeps looking into a busy road, the city lights caught his attention more than the voice from behind him. He feels a bit thrill to finally find the person that he really misses all these years.

Its been five years full of hell for him when she was gone. It's only a few months back before he retrieves news about a person named 'LUNA ARISTA' working as a tour guide and also a resident of this small country that he makes a decision to comes here to witness it from his own eyes.

He has been looking for her all these years and here she was hiding in the nineteen ranks smallest countries in the world. What did she think when she leaves him? Did she thought by leaving him would make him back down from finding her? Did she think the accident five years ago would make him forget about her? Did she think, he really believes that the corpse is her?

'What's in her brain at that time that she decides to run away like this?'

"Raymond?" Sarah calls out his name again. He always acts like this ever since the accident five years ago happened.

Turning around, he looks at the woman who shrugged her shoulder, waiting for his answer to her question.

"Yes, I did." He replies it short and averts his eyes elsewhere. He loosens his necktie and walks to the closet area.

"But, why? Our business has ended today. You have a lot more work to do in New York. The contract has been signed by the L corp President. What else did you-"

"Sarah." He glared at her who keep pestering lecturing him like a little kid. It's a bit annoying.

"Leave my room."

"Wha-" Sarah scoffs. "Listen, our wedding day is only a month from today. I know you exhausted and need some rest, but we can have a long honeymoon vacation once your work is done. So, just forget about touring this small country. We can do it later when-"

"I said leave." He interjects her again and ready to pull out his phone, wanting to call the bodyguard outside to drag her out.

Sarah's shocked when he pulled out his phone. She grits her teeth and took her handbag from the couch before she storming out from his room. Slamming the door with a loud thump as if it was her father's properties.

Raymond sighs once she was out of the room. He pinched the bridge of his nose. "Luna Arista..lets see if you are 'my' Luna."

The next day.

"So, baby..please behave while you're with aunt Nana, okay?" Luna caress Alex's smooth hair which took after her with the dark brown color. His grey eyes make him look so handsome even though he's only four years old. It's resembling his father's eyes and handsomeness.

Alex bobbed his head. "Mm."

"I promise, after I have done with my work, we can spend all of my off days with you."

"And daddy and Lily too, right?" Alex adds the two names. He wants them to have a good time together.

"Yes, of course with Daddy and Lily too." She chuckles and kisses her baby's cheek.

"Alright. I'll video call you later. Make sure your phone is full bar okay?" Luna stands up and intertwines her hand with Alex. They both went to the couple who already waiting at the car side.

"Mama," Alex looked up at his mother. Blinking his eyes, asking for a kiss from her mother.

"Oh, baby...I love you so much." Luna kisses on his forehead and both of his cheek.

Chuckling, he replies. "I love you more." He then skipping happily to Brian and Lily who also there to send him off.

"Daddy," He tugs his small hand on Brian's jacket, to which he bends down and kisses his top of the head.

"Don't be naughty." Brian smile at him lovingly before Lily pull Alex closer and hug him tightly.

"Don't forget to call me, Alex."

"No, I won't."

"I'll beat you up if you forget!" She whispers to him while grinning, showing her white teeth.

Laughing, he nodded. "I'm off now. Bye-bye!" Alex waves his hand to his family before he went inside the car with aunt Nana's help.

After the car is gone from Luna's sight, she sighing and looks a bit upset.

"Don't worry. He'll be fine." Brian went to her and embracing her with a warm hug.

"Yeah, I know he will."

"Let's go. I'll send you to the hotel lobby." Brian then releases the hug and bends down to carry his little princess on his arm.

"Uh, that's okay. I can take a cab from here."

"No, you can't. You're my daughter's mama, so I can't just let you go with a cab when I'm here." Brian said delicately.

"Mama.." Lily reach Luna's hand with a warm smile on her face.

"See...Lily gonna cry if mama refuses to go with daddy." Brian smile winningly when Luna nods her head.

"Yeah, alright."

Unlock the door, Brian put Lily in the car seat before he runs to the side and opens the car door for Luna.

"Here you go, mama."

"Thank you, daddy." Luna plays along with the nickname.

While in the car, Brian took out a box of a gift from inside the dashboard. He handed the gift to her.

"That's for you."

Scrunching, she looks at the man from the side. He really looks dashing and manly up close like this.

"What's this?"

"A thank you gift. For helping me all those years." He glances at her, hoping that she'll like the present he gave her.
