Chapter 43 - Still The Same

Luna averts her eyes to the box with a famous brand name on it. 'Cartier.' She nervously opens the box and looks at the inside of the box.

Upon seeing the shimmering necklace with the beautiful pendant, she could guess that the necklace price is almost up to 300 thousand dollars. She curled up her lips. "It's beautiful."

"I hope you like it. I really don't know how to do this romantically, since it is you. But, I hope I can relay the message perfectly to you through this."

"Ahh~so..are you pursuing me, now?" She teasingly asked.

Chuckled, he nodded and says "Oh yeah, for the damn years ago. Don't you realize it yet?"

She laughing before she gasped a bit. "Brian, language." reminding him that there's a little creature at the back seat smiling seeing both of them happily chat and teasing leisurely.

"Oops," He then glances at the girl beside him. "But, really...I hope you like it."

"Yeah...I like it. Thanks, Brian. But, how you get this limited collection?" Luna took out the necklace from the box and put it on her neck.

"I have a friend who works at their headquarters. Don't worry about how I get it for you."

"Hmm...How do I look?" She asked once she is already done putting it on.

"Splendidly."

A few minutes later, they arrive at the lobby hotel early in the morning. Took her black leather backpack, she opens the car door and went out of the car.

"Call me when you're done. Let us have dinner tonight, okay?" Brian said from inside the car.

Nodded her head, she closes the door and wave goodbye to both of them before he drove off, leave the lobby pavement.

Luna then leisurely walks to the hotel receptionist counter and took out a paper from her backpack before she put on the glasses and tied up her long hair into a ponytail. Checking for the last time their tour itinerary.

Ever since she stepped into this hotel, her heart couldn't stop pounding and she feels a bit anxious. If only she could stop this feeling from arising again.

Inhale deeply, she closes her eyes and set her determination. Feeling like going into a war field, she exhales with a slow sound from her mouth and turns her body around, to where the group already waiting for her.

'Calm down, Luna. He's not gonna recognize you. You've changed, he's changed. He will not remember you at all.' it's like her mantra that she keeps repeating in her mind.

Stop in front of the group, Luna put on a smile and look at each of the participants for this tour.

"Hello everyone! My name is Luna Arista, I will be your guide for today and for the next three days. Nice to meet you all."

A man who sits on the single chair lift up his chin to see the face of the girl named Luna Arista. He frowned a bit. The Luna he remembers does not have a light blonde hair color and she did not wear any glasses either. She is also quite slim than the girl in front of the group right now.

Not that she is big, but rather..she's a bit chubbier at a certain part than Luna from five years ago. She looks different, but her face doesn't totally different much though. He knows that his memory of Luna Wayne is a bit blurry since he only sees her twice before that accident happened, but that doesn't mean he totally forgot how she looked like. His instinct tells him that she's the real Luna Wayne, his wife.

Whether it's true or not, he decides to watch and observe this woman with the same name as his Luna.

"Alright, our bus is already here. Everyone, pick up your bag and get into the bus, we're gonna go to have fun today!" Luna then led the group into the bus that her company provided for them.

She helps a few tourists to put the bag on the compartment and give them a few flyers and itinerary of their trip. She did not once meet eyes with the man who coldly stares at her since she introduces herself. She keeps avoiding going near him.

Once she's done explaining the schedule, rules and a few other matters, she went to the front seat, and the bus starts to leave the hotel building.

'He..did not change at all. His appearance... it's all still the same as five years ago. He still cold and stone as ever.' She dazedly thinking about him.

Sentosa Island, Singapore.

"Alright, now we've arrived at the theme park, Universal Studio. You all may have fun for the whole day after I distribute the ticket to each of you and regroup back at the entrance at 6 PM. After that, you may rest at the Capella Hotel and continue the trip for the next day." Luna said while looking at the whole group inside the bus.

"At the pocket of the seat in front of you is the theme park map, it is free and you may need it for reference. If there's nothing else, the bus door will open and please watch your step. I'll distribute the ticket when you get down from the bus."

She gives a signal to the bus driver to open the door. She then waits at the bus door while giving the entrance ticket one by one to the tourist.

"Um, miss... where's to headed?" One of the tourists looks a bit lost. They are now in the basement parking lot, so they have to walk a bit to the escalator to go to the entrance.

"Uh, you go straight and there's a pavement escalator directly going to the entrance." She smiles at the guy while pointing her finger to the way.

"Thank you, Miss Luna."

"Sure." She then turns her head around, ready to pass another ticket to the next tourist.

"Please put it on your wrist." She said without looking at the guy who's waiting at the bus staircase.

"Luna." He calls her name to which make Luna abruptly looked up at the guy.

She swallows hard and presses a hard smile on her face. "Enjoy your time, sir."

Take the ticket from her, he stares right into her eyes. Even though she might hide her beautiful green eyes behind the glasses, he recognizes very well those eyes who makes him suffer for these past five years.

"I will." He replied it short before he steps down from the bus and headed right to the entrance escalator.

Luna's face turns pale after that. 'Did he…..recognize me?'

"Are you okay, miss?" another client waiting in the line look at her face who already turns pale. She looks just fine earlier.

"Uh..yeah, sorry. Here's your ticket. Enjoy your time." She continues to pass the ticket and smile at each of them. Even though her smile feels awkward than before.
