Chapter 92 - The Last Effort

"Mister Ray?" Jamal taps on Raymond's shoulder to gives him the keycard.

Turn around to the man, he lifts up his eyebrow a bit. He lost track of his time and even his surrounding while trying to figure out what happens to his internal database.

"Yes?" He asked blankly. When Jamal shows him the keycard, he then nods his head, understand.

"Oh..thank you, Jay." He then takes the keycard and walks to the elevator with Jamal. He couldn't spot Luna and others in the lobby area. While he keeps looking, Jamal also looks at behind them and suddenly he understands what is this man was looking for.

"They already went to the room, Mister Ray." He said without Raymond asking him.

Looked at the man, he then says, "Did I too obvious?" He enters the elevator and Jamal pushes the button to their floor. Jamal only smiles to answer Raymond's question. 'Of course, it's way too obvious, but that's fine I guess. You both look like you still love each other. But, poor Mister Brian..he a nice handsome man too.'

"By the way, Jay. When will we go to Kuala Lumpur?" He tries to call Dr. Kamal's cell phone, but unfortunately, no one picks it up. Maybe he already off from his work but why didn't he pick up his call? He always picks up his call before. He starts to feel something is off, so its better if he goes and sees the man himself.

"Tomorrow evening, Mister Ray. But we will straight to the hotel first for check-in and get ready for the night activities."

"Hm, can you send me to somewhere in the morning after that?" Raymond turned to the man. Hoping that he would agree to send him to Science Academy Malaysia to seek Dr. Kamal.

Jamal pinches his chin for a moment before he replies to the man. "Mm..sure, but we have to drop off the others at the zoo first then I send you there. Is that okay with you?" He tries to calculate the estimation time for him to arrange their schedule.

Raymond then nods his head agrees with him. Of course, he is not alone and has to make sure the others did not feel disturbed with his demand too.

The elevator's bell dinged and both of them get out from the elevator and walk down the corridor to their room. This time their room is separated by the floors. But that's okay, as long they still grouped back for the activities.

"Ah, we have to regroup back at the lobby at 7:30 PM before we go for dinner. Don't forget. Call me if anything." Jamal reminds Raymond who seems a bit distracted since they arriving here. 'Did something happen again?'

Raymond nods his head and taps the keycard to the below doorknob to get access to the room. After the light turn green, he went inside the room and put down his backpack on the floor.

He then slumps his body on the bed. Feeling so tired even though he's not the one who drives. 'Jay must be super tired.' He thought and turn his body around to stared the blank ceiling.

"Hmm..how do I prove to Luna that I already had the result, but unfortunately the result suddenly gone from my archives? If I remember correctly, someone did attempt to steal my information but isn't it only a glitch? My information is still secure. Who tries to mess with me? Did someone try to make sure I don't know about Alex's existence?" He sits up and rubs his shoulder which feels a bit stiff.

"Who? Is this have something to do with what happened five years ago? Hah….I still need to talk to her. I have to talk to her." Raymond then looks at his watch. It's already at 6 o'clock. He has one hour and a half to go before he needs to go down to the lobby back.

"I really need to sleep for a while now." He falls his body back to the bed and sets his alarm at 7 o'clock before he wakes up and gets ready.

Inside the other room.

"Alex..where is a mama?" Lily climbs the double-decker bed, looking at the boy who leisurely playing his game on the bed.

Without looking at the girl, Alex pointing his finger to the door. "Meeting daddy outside. Why?"

"Have you read the file that I save at my cloud?" She asked. She looks a bit anxious.

Turn his body around, he pauses his game and took out his iPhone from his pocket.

"Is there anything important?" He slides his finger and accesses the cloud server that Lily store the files she stole a few days ago.

"Just read it and you're not gonna believe it. Hurry! Before mama return back." She taps on Alex's leg before she climbs down back to her bed under him.

Alex did not reply to her as he then opens the file using his password and read the info on that file. A minute later, his eyebrow starts to scrunch and he gasps before he finally closes back the file. Not wanting to know more.

He went down and sit in front of Lily with his shocked expression. "I…..I couldn't believe it.." He stuttering a bit.

"Yeah...I know. So, I've decided to help him once more and this is my last method to help you out. If mama still doesn't want to return back to him..just…let her be, okay?" Lily holds Alex's shoulder with both of her hands.

Nodding, Alex then lowered his head a bit. "Where and when? What is your command?" Alex asked straightforwardly.

"I need to go to the server room to take control. We'll distract them and let them trap in one place. If you help me break into the room, I'll do the rest," Lily tells him her plan is. She needs to use her Kira to help her this time and to activated Kira, she needs to consume a lot of energy. The only best place is the server room, of course, she can confine and monitor them from the server room. All Raymond needs to do is force her telling the truth while they are trapped in there.

"Okay.."

"Good. Now, I need to download a floor plan first and I'll explain to you later." Lily starting to rummage her 'toys' bag before she once again looks at Alex who turned a bit sullen after reading the file.

"Remember, this is the last effort I can offer to help you as your milk siblings. Other than that…let mama decide herself." after she utters that sentence, she continues to study the floor plan and download it for her used later.

'What the hell, papa.…Why'd you do that to us?'

In the file he read containing the details of his marriages, the offer Victoria made to Luna's family, the expenses and the surgery he went five years ago. After he wakes up, never once he visits Luna at the mansion where he left her there alone without any word. Even until the accident of the arson which takes the life of Luna's family. The murder of Doctor Fang and his family. The accident involving Luna, Victoria, Liam, Sabrina and the head butler, Mr. Carson.

Three of them were announced to die in the accidents. Luna Wayne, Victoria Wayne, and Mr. Charles Carson. But only one name was announced from Wayne's clan while the other two is announced as a civilian by the media.

In the press conference, Raymond did not utter Luna's name at all. And his family denied the rumors of his once married a peasant girl. This clearly makes him look like he denying that he once married the girl named Luna Robert to be his wife. Even her death is not announced and they only do a burial ceremony for Victoria Wayne.
