Chapter 97 - Sickly In Love With Her

Mr. Carson nods his head and apologizing to Raymond before he leaves the room.

"What was that?" Luna sits up and looked at the man who approaches her in the living area.

"I just don't want any rumors about my wife having an affair with another man while I'm in the house." He casually said and take a seat beside her before he turns on the TV.

Luna look at the man with so many questions on her head. "What are you doing? I wanna turn in now, I'm working tomorrow." She pushes his body using her arm, hoping that he would get off of the couch and let her sleep peacefully.

"Just sleep. This is my room and I wanna watch some movies right now. And this is my couch too." He glares at the woman beside him and pushes her forehead with his index finger to lay down on the couch silently.

"Can't you watch in the theater room? Why must you watch it here right now?" She grunts and turns her body to the right sides, covering her half body with the blanket.

Smirking, he only glances at her who already jutting her mouth. "To annoyed you of course." He turns the volume a bit high just to disturb her from sleeping. Making her annoyed and mad is a kinda fun thing for him. It's like his entertainment and a way for him to move forward just like she suggested him to do.

Unfortunately for him, just after a few minutes she already falls asleep even the sound from the TV is quite loud with the shooting gun and explosion sound, she still able to sleep soundly.

Her tiredness beat her body and mind to fall asleep even in the noisy condition. Feeling a bit tired, Raymond then turns off the TV after the movie end and looks at the girl who soundly asleep on the couch.

He tugs the blanket on her and returns to his bed.

The next two days,

"Have you check everything?" Raymond asked looking at the girl who just comes out from the house while the maid helps them to put the luggage into the car trunk.

"Yup." Luna nodded and Raymond takes her hand. "Are you nervous?"

Chuckles, Luna says, "Of course, Ray.. you know I'm not good with your family except for grandma Victoria. I wonder how they gonna react to see us today."

He smiles and lifts up her chin to look at him. "You have me. I'll protect you. So, all you have to do is stick with me, okay?"

"Mm.."

"Master Raymond and Lady Luna, the car is ready now." Mr. Carson informs the couple, which always does a lovey-dovey act in front of everyone.

Everyone in the house knows about this Ray character which is a more likable and gentle type. Whenever he is around, everyone is a bit of relief. At least he is normal than the other two characters.

They always wonder, how did Luna able to handle a person with three different types of character. And each of them was treated differently by her. She is like a sister and a mother to the 'day' Raymond, she is like a very admirable and lovely lover to Ray and she is like a cat and dog with the 'night' Raymond.

"Let's go now." He places his hand on the car door for Luna to get inside the car safely before he enters after her.

They take a private plane to go to New York City which only takes around an hour to arrive. After they arrive at the airport, the limousine and the servant from the main mansion already awaits for them and drive them back to the main house.

Luna at the backseat holding Raymond's hand tightly. A bit worried and scared to face the people from the main house. Raymond then brings her hand into his lips to kiss it. To ease her worries.

"I'm here."

Luna smiles and averts her eyes to the outside of the window. Enjoying the city view. It such a fabulous place which have a lot of tall building, so many branded and luxurious shops all along the sideways and yes, they stuck in the traffic-jammed. There are too many cars in the street and it looks like the street is always busy in here.

"You wanna go to watch some shows with me, Luna?" Raymond looks at the Metropolitan Opera House building when they pass by it and the idea came into his mind.

Startled, Luna turned her head around to the man. "Huh? Shows?"

He nodded. "Yeah. Like the orchestra? Ballet? or any art theater you would like to watch. I'll bring you there if we have time."

"Okay." She agrees. Well, it's not a bad idea too to explore this city that she never been in. She wants to know what is his life like before he went to SC. He must be a handsome hunk with so many girls around him, huh?

"What's in your mind?" He lean closer to her, her smiling and grinning faces make him wonder, what is she thinking right now.

"Huh?" She shakes her head, "Nothing. Hehe.." She giggling a bit.

"That does not look like nothing at all." He then pinches her chin and draws her face closer to him.

"Say it..or I.."

Luna lifts up her eyebrow. Intrigued by his word. "Or you what?"

Whisper to the girl, Luna's face then turned red and avert her eyes to the pedestrian walk afterward.

"You..shameless." She murmurs and Raymond caress her hair which already grows long, reaching near her shoulder.

"You must be thinking that I'm some kind of playboy aren't you?"

Luna shrugged her shoulder. "No, I'm not." denying his guess.

"Well..honey, you're wrong. I'm in love with only one woman in my life and you know that person too."

Feeling irked, Luna then says in an annoyed voice. "I know..that's person is Sarah, right?" of course she knows who that person is. Eight years in a relationship is not easy to forget it just in three months.

Raymond glance at the girl who looks a bit upset, "No, you wrong. I don't know a girl named Sarah."

Luna dumbfounded. 'Oh, that's right..he's Ray..probably he doesn't have any memories with Sarah.'

"But, Ray..in your real-life..that's your girlfriend before you had an accident." She had to tell him now or it'll be too late if he doesn't aware of Sarah's existence in his life later.

"That's another person love interest. I'm not that curious about that girl named Sarah. All I know that I only love this one person." He smiles at her before he continues again.

"If you want to know who she is..try to look into the mirror. And you'll see her. Bear in your mind that I'm sickly in love with her."

Luna was speechless. 'Look into a mirror?'
