Chapter 131 - Alexander Summer Home

Luna pushes the trolley and takes all of the food ingredients to cook. From the lofty bread to the meat, everything she thinks is necessary she put into the trolley.

Raymond who just back from taking the batteries and torch lights scrunch his eyebrow a little. "Whoa..that's a lot. Are you feeding other people too?"

Glared at the man, she 'humph' him and went to find beverages drink and milk. Leaving the trolley for him to push.

Raymond did not say anything and only laugh seeing her sour face. He follows her from behind and takes a lot of snacks to fill up the trolley.

When Luna put the milk carton inside the trolley, she scrunched her eyebrow. "Wow..are you planning on getting fat within a day?" She sarcastically said to him.

Chuckles, Raymond pinching her cheek. "No, I'm planning to make someone fat. Not me."

"Ouch!" Luna slaps his hand from pinching her cheek. He sometimes can be rough and sometimes can be gentle like tofu. He really had bipolar disease.

After paying for all the groceries, they went back to the parking lot and load all the bags inside the car before they continue their journey up to the mountain.

When Raymond starts driving on a dry road, Luna closes her eyes with her hands. The surrounding is so dark and almost everything she saw is the woods. Only a few times she saw there are a light and houses that placed far in the valley's foot.

"What's wrong with you?" Raymond glance at her when he noticed she kept her eyes close whenever the road gets dark and silence. The radio signal is quite bad around here and he turns off the radio from keep buzzing.

"Erm…I'm..I'm scared. How far is the cabin we're staying?" She stuttering.

Chuckles, Raymond pulls her hand from covering her face with one hand, while the other one is steering the wheels. "Come on. Look at me."

"No, Raymond..focus on the road." She grunts and tries to dodge his attack which only makes him laughs.

"Is not too far now..come on, open your eyes. Look around you."

"No…I'm not going to do that." She still insists on closing her eyes. "Why do we arrive late? It's already too dark." She murmurs alone.

Raymond who listens to her mumbling shakes his head. "Whose fault is it who keep told me to stop at the rest stop to pee and buy so many snacks? But in the end, fall asleep in the midway?"

"Urgh..you don't have to point all of that."

Raymond did not reply to her and keep focusing on the road. It seems like the haze is quite thicker now even though it just 9 p.m.

"Luna..can you help me find the right junction. I couldn't see so well with the thick haze right now." He tapping on Luna's shoulder, asking her for help.

Even though Luna was so scared right now, she can't just leave this Raymond to get lost in the wood. So, she had to muster up her courage and open her eyes slowly.

Looking at the road and scrunched her eyebrow. "Which side? Right or left?"

"Um...The last time I came is on the right side. So, right junction with a signboard of 'Alexander Summer Home' ." Raymond gives her details of his cabin house.

"Huh? Alexander? I thought it was a cabin house? Your house." Luna frowned and still look ahead.

"It is my cabin house. I just put it under Alexander's name as a facade. No one in my family knows about this house and you…don't you even dare to tell a single soul about its existence to anyone." He warned her while explaining to her.

"Pfft! Like I want to meddle with your business. And who's Alexander?"

Rolled his eyes, he says in an annoyed voice. "Our son. Happy now?"

Luna glared at him, murmuring. "Who wants to name it Alexander?"

When she averts her eyes back to the road, she saw the signage made with the wooden post hanging on the right side of the road.

"Oh! It's there! Around 50 meters." Luna said and Raymond turns the wheel to the right junction and drives to the cabin house's lawn before he turns off the engine.

"Alright, we've arrived," Raymond said and unbuckle his seatbelt. Luna was stiffened to see the house in front of them right now.

"Are-Are you sure this is your house?" She asked.

Frowned, he looks at the girl. "What's wrong with the house?" He then averts his eyes to the front. Nothing's weird.

"Um….where's your servant? Why it's so dark? Is there any electricity in this area?"

"Why would I place a servant in this secluded area when I rarely come up here? It's dark because we just arrive, you idiot. If it's lit up then there's something wrong. Come on, help me unload all the things and bring it inside." Raymond took out torch lights he just bought at the supermarket earlier and turn it on.

Luna slowly unbuckles her seatbelt and open the car door. Tugging her hand on Raymond's shirt and ignore his instruction before. Who would dare to walk alone in the dark? She follows him to the cabin's patio.

Rustle!

"Ah!" Luna jumped and cling on Raymond's body which he also surprised by her voice.

"Hey! You almost choking me." He said and pull Luna's arm which is wrapped around his neck.

"I-I'm scared. Did you hear that?" She stammering and shaken a bit.

Sighing, Raymond let her clinging on his body while he takes out his key and opens the door. After he pushes open the door, he finds the switch and turns it on. Within a seconds, the house is lit up and even the lawn is now lit up with the light pole at the outside.

"See.. there's nothing. Now get off of me. Let's take all the baggage out and bring it inside."

Raymond turns his head to the side and looks at Luna who still clinging on him.

"Um…Can I stay like this?"

"What are you? Koala? Get off of me." Raymond said and she finally let go of his neck and walk to the Jeep with him. Still, walk close to him.
