Chapter 166 - New President Of Wayne

"Hey, bunny. What're you doing?" Sabrina asked while Luna already giggles from her side. They are now watching Netflix series on the TV before going to bed.

"Hey, kitty. I'm just..mingling." He laughs a bit and covers his mouth with one of his hands. "Nah... I actually at the Gala. But, I'll be with you tomorrow. You must be lonely when I'm not around, aren't you?" He cheekily smiles at her before he winks his eyes to which Sabrina mockingly gag at him.

"Oh, by the way, Luna..look who's with me?" He spins around and shows the phone to the couple who were kissing and he immediately changes back his position. He thought he could cover up but it was too late when Luna already see it.

"You know what..I'm sorry. I'm totally sorry. I'm so sorry." He apologetically said and saw that Luna crack a little smile at him with her teary eyes.

"It's okay, Liam. I've seen it before." She said and excuse herself to the room leaving both of the couples speechless.

"Baby..I'm.."

"Don't worry. It's not your fault. Just hurry come here. I miss you." Sabrina said before she hung up the video call.

Sighing, Liam put back his phone in his pocket and slowly turn around but the two just finished kissing. Her eyes fill with lust while Raymond looks neutral. "Raymond, I have something I would like to ask." He steps in the between them which makes Sarah scrunch a bit, but her heart joyed with how Liam looks.

'He jealous, isn't he?' She smiles inwardly.

Raymond sips his drink to get off the taste of her lipstick and slightly nods his head. "Ya? What is it?"

"Do you love her?" Liam averts his eyes toward the girl who he thinks is a bit shameless. She knew that Raymond is a married guy and yet still dare to flirt and kissing him in front of everyone. With her exposed dress like that..well, probably certain people would think she's hot while the others who know her real personalities would only scoff and call her bitch, like him.

"Huh?" He looks confused with Liam's question but then he follows his brother's eyes and stops at Sarah. He silent for a moment before he answered him. "Yeah. We've been together since-"

"I knew you would answer that. But, Raymond.. it's not 'love' . It just your obligation feeling toward her. My advice Raymond..go and look inside your heart who you really love is." Liam pat on his shoulder before he went to Victoria after that, leaving Raymond dumbfounded.

Sarah grits her teeth and immediately changes her expression. "Don't hear what he says, darling. Maybe he was just jealous of our intimacy." She rubs on Raymond's arm and went to the center of the hall. The major shareholder will now be giving their speech before presenting their project and giving some explanation about it.

"Tonight, I'm so happy to be here and be part of this project for the first phase. I have a little news for tonight, and I hope it would not interrupt the main event as I will make a press conference about the news itself. But, for the next phase, the new president of Wayne will take over the project and take over my place. I fully entrust my next president to this project and will give us many more in the future." Victoria smile looking at all the cameras that flashing in front of her. While from the round table, James already smiles widely and clapped his hand loud as others.

He was ready to stand up and wave his hand to the swarm of the reporter.

"I presenting..my new heir and president of Wayne Corp, Liam Wayne." Victoria opens her hand toward the man who silently seated at the back round table. A bit far from the stage.

Everyone in the hall turns silent for a minute before Liam slowly stands up and bows his head a little to everyone. The moment he lifts up his head, a series of flashing lights hit his face and every single reporter took his picture before Victoria clearing her throat a bit.

"I will officially be retired and announcing my new heir two days later from today. The event place will be informed later, thank you." Victoria finishes her speech and slowly went down from the stage and humbly walks to Liam's table before she sits down.

James's face turns red and Raymond also dumbstruck. He didn't know that his grandma will select his stepbrother to be the new heir. Don't get him wrong, he did think it was the best decision as he still felt like he doesn't deserve to be at the top.

He feels something is off when his family keeps telling him that his goal is to be the next Wayne president while deep down inside, he feels like he wants something else. Something that he doesn't know what it is. There's a blank space that resides almost 80% of his mind.

Now he's a bit happy that he doesn't have to sacrifice much time and worked his brain too much to handle a giant company. It's not easy but the thought of working with his brother? Well, that something he really likes. Even though he knows his father somehow hating Liam for no reason at all. If by right, Liam still holds a legal position to be on the throne as he is the firstborn of his father who also the firstborn of Victoria.

"Dammit!" James said through his gritting teeth while Barbara immediately rubs her husband's chest to calm him down. She leans closer to him and whispering something before the man turns to look at her.

"Is it true?" He asked, and Barbara wickedly smiles and nodded. Only after that James's emotion suddenly changes normal again. The night went on and finally, it ends with magnificent.

Luna was veiled under the thick comforter when she feels like the bed was suddenly dipped lightly. Someone was sitting at the edge of the bed.

"Breakfast?" Mr. Carson said and nudge Luna's legs a bit. Luna shakes her head. "Mm, no...I don't think I can eat now. Everything I eat ends up on the toilet bowl."

"But you have to fill your stomach too. If not, how the baby gonna grow?" He still persuades her to eat the breakfast he made for her. Special recipe for pregnant woman which he asked his little sister just now. And of course, he got yelled at and questioned to who's the one he sleeps with now. Even though, there's no answer to that. He didn't do any romantic relationship. Thinking that he is 'special' for not attracted to both women and men.

"It'll grow when it wanna grow. If not, it can go-"

"Luna…don't say that. What the child ever do to you?"

"It staying in my belly-"

"Because of the love between you and him? Don't forget, it's you both who put him or her there. I think he'll be very sad to hear what you've just said. Come on..don't let him sad and make you sick after this." He pulls the blanket from her head to which Luna then groans.

"Ugh..he? You know what gender it is?" She sits up and tidies up her messy hair a bit.

"I got the hunch that the child will be 'he' . Wayne's firstborn will always be a boy." He smiles and gives a bowl of breakfast to her.

Luna looks down at the bowl and scrunches her eyebrow a bit. "Raymond's not the firstborn. He's second and is this..oatmeal?"

"Yes, he's second but he still the first son of Barbara. And yes, that's oatmeal and I put some berries to make sure it's not triggering you to vomit up. Eat up. Madam Victoria and Master Liam will arrive soon."
