Chapter 180 - A New House For Her And The Kids

Changi Airport.

"Master, your jet is ready, we'll be leaving in ten minutes." One of Brian's men who wearing a formal suit greets him once they arrive at the airport.

Brian nods his head and turns to look at Luna and two of their children who look confused. They never thought that Brian is well guarded, now when they're about to leave this country, Luna noticed that there are so many of his men around them all this time.

"What's wrong?" He asked and reaches Lily's hand while Luna holding Alex's. Shake her head, she says, "I never saw them before."

Brian looks at his men before he smiles, "That's because they're trained to not show up their identity in front of all of you." He caresses her hair softly. "Don't worry. I'll explain everything once we arrive, okay?"

Luna nods her head and follows him to the private lounge before they went to their private jet.

The journey from Singapore to Seattle takes around 19 hours and when they arrive, its already dusk around the city. Lily and Alex also look so tired after long hours of flight.

When they touch down, a black Bentley already awaits them with a chauffeur beside the car. The chauffeur is a bit old and when Brian walks down from the jet, the man lowered his head full of ethic.

"Welcome back, Master Lawrence." He said politely and carefully open the door for them.

From when they're in Singapore until now, Luna could feel there's a different aura around this man who she thought is a 'normal' guy. But, seeing how they treat him and greet him, she could tell that Brian probably just like the Wayne who holds such power and authority in a certain area.

She starts to feel uneasy with the thought of what happens before will happen again in the future. She was terrified that Lawrence's household probably will be just like Wayne.

"Luna?" Brian turn around when Luna was frozen at the side of the car.

Luna blinks her eyes a few times before she looked at the man. Still afraid of her thought that might come true.

"Are you okay?" Brian touched her shoulder and smile at her. Comforting her. "Are you afraid?" and Luna nod with his second question.

Chuckles, Brian said again. "Don't worry. We're not going to my parents' house, instead, we're going to my house tonight. And.." He slips her hair strand behind her ear. "My parents are nothing like you imagine it."

Luna cracks a smile at him. Not sure how to react. How can she relax when she still hasn't met them. And with someone holding such a status, Brian could pick any beautiful and wealthy girl to be his partner, right?

"Come on. It's getting dark now." Brian help to get their child inside the car before they both get inside it too.

It takes around twenty minutes from the airport to Brian's mansion at Bellevue. His house's outer appearance just looks like a classy mansion. Limestone brick wall, lamp post at the driveway and line up with Japanese pine tree.

When the chauffeur stops the car at the pavement, two men in black suit immediately open the door for them while lowered their heads.

"Welcome home, Master."

Luna feels like everything is remind her back to when she was still young mistress of Wayne. The same treatment she gets when Raymond and her return back to the main mansion. Again, she inhales deeply. Try to control her own emotions. She doesn't want to remember that dark memory again, but it was so hard for her to totally forget about him.

"Mama?" Alex shakes Luna's hand who still in awe. Looking at the boy, she realizes that she was frozen for a seconds before she immediately gets out of the car. Following Brian from behind with Alex at her side.

Just when they went inside the house, a few of the lady's maids immediately take off Luna's coat and help her to feel comfortable inside the house.

"Let's went to the room first before we have dinner," Brian said and nod his head to his house steward and housekeeper.

Just after he said it, he handed his coat to his house steward and walk to the other direction leaving the kids and Luna under housekeeper care.

"Ma'am, My name is Elizth and I'm a Lawrence housekeeper. These two lady's maids are Beth and Rose. They will be attending in your needs and appearance." The housekeeper named Elizth said softly which then Luna scrunches her eyebrow.

"Uh, I don't think I will need lady's maids."

"This is our Master's instructions, Ma'am. Please use them at your disposal." Elizth stated and start to walk to the curve staircase on the right side of the house.

"This way, my lady," Beth said while showing her the way to the staircase.

Not only Luna was dumbfounded but their kids also look so confused and shocked with how rich their daddy is. They even have a steward and housekeeper. The hierarchy of the servant in this house just like in medieval time.

From their appearance, Lily could guess that each of the servants in this house is not just a mere people with no skill. Nope, they totally trained and had special education too.

She keeps observing the house and imprint of this house floor plan into her mind. The house looks classy and yet very elegant. Everything inside this house looks just like in the castle.

The housekeeper stops at the one room with a gold doorknob and carves with an olive leaves design. "This is the room for young mistress, Lily."

Lily looked up at the lady and she smiles warmly to her before she opens the door for her. "Everything inside has been designed by your own mother, Madam Lisa before you were born," she explains.

Lily suddenly touched with how thoughtful her mother even before she was born she already prepare her a room. When she looks inside the room, she immediately likes it. The room is decorated with pink, purple and white color. The bed looks like a princess type with the canopy crown bed.

There's a lot of teddy bears and toys and it even has a mini white piano inside the room. Really impressive.

Luna and Alex also amazed by how beautiful Lily's room. Her mother really loves her so much.

"If you need anything, Lady Lily, you can just call me. I'm your personal maids assigned by Master Lawrence." Elizth said again before Lily nods her head.

"Shall we continue to your room, Ma'am Luna?" Elizth looks at Luna before Luna shakes her head. "Uh, please..just call me Luna."

Elizth tilts her head a bit before she nods after that. "Very well, Miss Luna."

Luna smiles and follows the woman who she thought is not bad. She looks rigid and stern but she was perfect and suitable with her post which needs to make sure all of the female servants follow her order.

They went to the next room and show Alex his own room. Of course, it's not as grand as Lily's room but it was very nice and comfortable too. After all, Luna did not plan on staying here permanently.

She decides to find a job before she finds a new house for her and the kids. If somehow, she can spark a new love in her life, she might consider taking a new step in her life again. That if…that's worked.

Even now, she still missing that man. Just when she was about to forget about him, he suddenly appears again in her life. And when he's gone, she starts missing him back.

What a complicated life she chooses to live in!

After she settles down in her room, she took out a box that she put the scroll and the box that he gives her last week. Slowly, she opens the scroll and read the contents.

It was a land grant that Raymond change it into her name five years ago.

'So, this is your gift for my 19th birthday, huh? ' She chuckles and rolls back the scroll before she put it back into the box.

'You're crazy to give me such a huge present. But then, we both didn't live in it. What's the use of it then?'
