Chapter 181 - Your New Girlfriend?

Luna tremble a bit when they went inside the elevator, she looks on her dress for today and she tugs on Brian's sleeve. Leaning bit to him and whisper, "Do I look weird?"

Arched his eyebrow, Brian look at her dress and shook his head. "No. Why?"

Luna bit her lips and says, "I feel, um..uncomfortable." She looks again at her dress which is a bit open around her chest. It was her lady's maid who arranges her dress and put on her makeup today.

Chuckles, Brian said again. "Trust me, you look splendid. You shouldn't worry, my parent is just a human being and not a dragon. I can guarantee you."

Luna sighs and nods her head. She then averts her eyes to Alex and saw that he also looked at her. "What is it dear?" She asked.

Shakes his head, he said, "Mama look beautiful." With that, she feels at least a bit ease. Seeing how similar her son with that man, she smiles. "Thank you, dear. You too look so handsome today."

Clearing his throat he said again. "I know. My gene is the best."

Lily rolled her eyes to Alex, annoyed with his 'overclaimed' statement. When the elevator door opens, they walk to the high-end restaurant in which there's a waiter waited for them at the grandiose and huge door.

"Master Lawrence," The man who guarded at the outside of the door said before he carefully opens the door for them.

Luna feels like her knees wobble a bit. She tries to put on her calm face and follow Brian from behind.

Once they entered the grand room, Luna was dumbfounded a bit, inside, only four people are sitting on the vogue leather chair. Two of them look old which she assumes is Brian's parents and the other two look a bit young. It looks like they're in their early twenties. She looks at Brian and saw he walked to his parent and kiss them both on the cheek.

"Mom, Dad." He greets and they happily hug him and kiss him on the cheek too before they avert their eyes to Luna and the two children beside her.

"Ah~ you must be Miss Luna, right?" The madame said and she swiftly went to her and give her a warm hug.

"I've been wanting to meet you so long. How are you, my dear?" She asked and look at her face, scanning her figure before her smile becomes wider.

"Uh..I'm fine, ma'am. Um, I mean, Madam Lawrence." Luna stuttering a bit. She was so shocked and forgot to introduce herself properly.

"That's okay. You can just call me Madeline or mom.." She softly laughs and averts her eyes to the little girl who still holding Luna's hand.

"Oh, my dear! Is this my little angel? Oh, darling…" When she wants to lift up the girl, Lily was first being lifted by someone from behind.

"Really? Is she my niece? She's so cute like her uncle." A man who lifted her up says with an excited voice.

Lily turn her head around and look at the man. 'Oh! Not bad. Alright, I'll stay still for a moment now.'

"Wow, her hair is so similar to her mother. She's so beautiful.." Said one girl which Lily guess is her aunt.

While she was being hugged and touched by them, Brian immediately comes to rescue his daughter. "Guys, come on..behave a bit, will you?"

"Aw~ no way..you keep your daughter in secret for years and now we only want to play with her.." His mother pouted a bit and followed by two of his siblings.

Sighing, Brian said, "You know why I keep her from the outsider, aren't you? Now..please, I want to introduce you with.."

"Oh, is she your new girlfriend?" His little sister interjects Brian's word and moves to Luna before she averts her eyes to the boy beside her.

"Oh my god! Who is this handsome boy?" She lifts Alex and within a second they all move to Alex and scrutinize him while tilting their head.

"Wait, he looks familiar though.. but, he's so cute. What's your name, darling?" Madeline asked while caressing his hair.

"A-Alex." He said and again, Brian comes to rescue.

"Guys, please..you just gonna scared my child." He said and they all dumbfounded with his statement.

"Your child? You mean…"

"Oh my god! You cheat on Lisa's?"

"But, I thought you were-"

"Geez! Can we sit first?" Brian sighs and shakes his head helplessly. Luna was totally speechless seeing how energetic his family is.

And it was clear that they have a good bond between parents and children.

"Darling, just sit down first." Benjamin Lawrence said calmly to his wife.

Follow her husband's suggestion, Madeline went to her chair and both of her children also went to their seats. They ready to hear out his brother's introduction to his new 'someone' with a child.

"Mom, Dad, Aria and Kent, this is Lily's wet nurse, Luna. And this is Luna's son, Alex. She's the one who raises Lily when I'm not around. We've met four years ago just after Lily was born."

"Well, as you all know..she need to breastfeed and that time.." He stops before clearing his throat a little and continues again. "Luna offers her help to breastfeed Lily and that's how we've come to raise our child together."

All of them still focusing on Brian before they avert their eyes to Luna and Alex. Knowing that the child is not Brian's and he didn't cheat on Lisa. They feel at ease.

"Luna, this is my mother, Madeline, and my father, Benjamin." He continues to introduce Luna to his parents.

Luna smiles and reaches her hand out to handshake with them. But her hand was not hooked, instead, they pull her into their embrace. "Thank you for raising our grandchild, and pleasure to meet you, Luna."

Luna was dumbfounded a moment before Brian move to introduce her to his sibling. "This is Kent, my second sibling, and Aria the third. They born in the same year but not a twin though."

"Oh?" Luna arched her eyebrow. No wonder they look close and a bit younger than her.

"Pleasure to meet you too, Luna." They both handshake her hand and invite her to sits down afterward.

The dinner went well and everyone looks so happy and far from her imagination. Just like Brian's said before. They are really different than Wayne.

She can see how Benjamin loves his wife and that loves flows in each of their children. Maybe it was what it takes to create a lovely family. Its all start back with how their parent shows their love for their children.

"Oh by the way..do you two planning on marrying each other?"

Luna almost spurts her drink before Brian's gently rub on her back. "Mom.." He glances at his mother.

Blinking, Madeline said, "Oh..sorry.."

Luna shakes her head before she smiles at the woman. "No, no..I'm the one who's sorry."

"We still don't think about it," Brian replies for both sides. After all, he still needs to know what Luna's feeling and her opinion is matter. He doesn't want to repeat the same mistake again.

Remarry again is not easy for both of them, especially when they both aware of their own feeling that still can't move on from the old love.

"I see. Just remember, whatever your decision is.. think wisely."
