Chapter 207 - He'll Be Fine.

Harry pushes Sophie to the bed while he still standing at the side of the bed. "Strip." He said, and Sophie giggles before she took off her clothes one by one in such a sexy way.

Harry did not move at all while still watching her take off her clothes. Once she's nude, he smiles and bends down on the floor. Taking all of her clothes and went to the drawer.

"Oh…baby...you wanna play some game, huh?" she licked her finger sexily, and Harry just snickers at her.

"Look closely." He takes out a scissor and cut all of her clothes into pieces. Which then Sophie scrunched her eyebrow.

"Harry..that dress cost me a few thousand." She starts to panic, and Harry was just laughing while cutting her dress.

"Oh yeah? So your clothes are more expensive than you are then.." He stops cutting and throws the remain clothes on his hand to her face.

"See these clothes?" He asked, and Sophie's face turns pale. She nods her head. "Can you make it back like it was before?"

She slowly shook her head. "Then that's how I felt about us. Nothing can be repaired. I told you last time, we're over and you dare coming here, seducing me like this..really, Sophie?? where's your dignity as a woman?"

"But, Harry, I've told you I love you, and I can make you happier than that bitch!"

Prang!

Harry throws the scissors on his hand into a mirror, and the shard spread on the floor.

"Get out now before I kill you." He said, and Sophie gulped. She looks at her body before she glances at him.

"It's not my problem that you're so cheap." He said, walk to the door. Open it for her to get out of his house.

Sophie cry while running out from his house with her belongings, covering her breast and her 'v' area.

After she was out, Harry rubs his face a few times before he went to his couch. He noticed his brother's text that he hadn't seen it yet.

'Did Lisa already there? She was asking me about you today .'

Harry scrunched his eyebrow before he replies to his brother. 'No, she didn't come here. Did she tell you she'd come here?'

A few minutes, a new message gets into his inbox. 'Not really, but she asked me about your whereabouts.'

He sighs and scrolls for Lisa's number. Trying to call her. A few rings, and finally, she picks up the call.

"Hey, B..how're you doing?" He starts. He doesn't know how to talk to her anymore after that night they fought. He left her just like that, and she also never find or call or text him back.

He was hurt with how she treats him, but in the end, he was the one who breaks the 'cold war' and finds her first.

"Hi D, I'm good. What about you?" She tries to sound cheerful at the other side of the line.

"I'm good too." He lied. "Are you okay, B? your voice.."

"Ah..actually it quite cold here so I got flu. I'm okay, though." She giggles, and Harry smiled.

"You sure? Want me to check on you?"

"No..no need. I'm okay." She immediately refuses him.

"Mm..so, Henry told me that you're looking for me. Is there anything you need?" He starts to why he calls her in the first place.

Chuckles, Lisa said with a low voice, but it's quite raspy. "Hey..so, um… I'm getting married."

Like getting hit by the thunder, Harry froze, and the phone on his hands slips down to the floor.

"Hello? Harry?? Hello??" Lisa taps on her phone, but when there's no voice at all, she hangs up the phone.

Continue to cry while Brian was soothing her from the side. "I'll make sure once you marry me, I'll never let your tears fall again."

Lisa did not say anything as she just nods her head.

Her wedding take place in a week, everything was prepared by Brian, and she only needs to choose her dress, and she still hasn't met with Brian's family at all.

Brian said that his family would be coming on the wedding day. Unlike every girl in this world who's excited to prepare their wedding preparation, all she feels is empty.

She's smiling outside, but crying inside. The invitation card has been sent to her adoptive parents in Singapore, and she also sends her wedding card to Henry and Harry's family.

She got a call from Aunt Lara, Harry's mother a few days ago, and she didn't dare to tell the truth. She was only saying that she fell in love with this man when she's moving here and Lara did say that it was so sudden.

She had to lie to everyone and hope that they did not feel the same way she felt. Sad that she didn't end up with the one she loves… but she also hopes that Brian will stick to his promise. Making her fall in love with him.

Maybe, one day they will finally have a good life? He's a good man, after all. He's been by her side when she always felt down. Maybe..only him can cure her broken heart?

In a week, she hasn't heard about Harry at all. Like he has vanished into thin air. It'll only make her feel worse.

On her wedding day, only Henry, his daughter, and Aunt Lara, who attend to her wedding. While the other didn't come at all. Her family also comes to her ceremony from Singapore. She requests it to be a private wedding as she doesn't want to have many people attend their wedding ceremony, and Brian agrees to it.

His family also comes to the wedding except for his mother, who said she has a matter to do. However, it did not stop the marriage from going on.

"Do you, Lisa Ling …..accept Benedict Lawrence as your husband?"

Lisa startled for a moment, and she looks at Brian full of questions. 'What was his name again?'

"Baby.." Brian whispered to her, and she back to earth. Thinking that maybe she was heard it wrong? "I do."

After exchanging rings, they kissed for a moment and invited the guest to enjoy the feast.

"Congratulations, Lisa... I didn't know you were married into Lawrence's household. Good luck in your marriage, alright, dear?" Lara hugs her tightly. Feels a bit sad that she wasn't able to make her as her daughter-in-law.

Lisa bitterly smiles. She didn't know that Brian was lying to her all this time. "Thank you, Aunt."

"Mm..please remember, Lisa..whatever happens, I already thought of you as my daughter. So do visit us often, okay?" She smiles while caressing her cheek.

Lisa nods. She was also sad, looking at her worried face. She didn't want to see her like this. Yet, there's no use to cry over spilled milk.

It's Henry's turn to hug her. "I'm sorry…I couldn't do anything to help you." He whispered and rubbed her back softly.

Lisa shakes her head. "It's not your fault, Henry. Just tell him…I'll always be his friend."

Henry nods his head. "I'll try to persuade him again. He was in great shocked. But don't worry. He'll be fine."

Lisa chuckles and wipes her tears a bit. "Thanks." It's not a happy tear at all.
