Half an hour earlier,
Luna's scrunching her eyebrow when she feels like her chest is in pain, she slowly opens her eyes and a bit surprised to see the surrounding around her.
It's dimmed with only the night lamp is on. When she tries to sit up, someone who sits on the couch suddenly opens his eyes. "You're awake?" he asked, and Luna squinted his eyes to the man.
She feels like she knows this man, but when and where? "Um…where are we?" Luna asks, and her throat feels a bit sharp pain. Maybe because she's almost die drowning on the sea earlier.
'Ah! The sea!! How did I get out of that situation?' She touches her face and all other parts of her body before the man clearing his throat a bit. "You're not dreaming. You're still alive right now," he said and went to the kitchen and brought a glass of water to her.
Took the glass, Luna drinks it a little and slowly. Her throat still hurt. "Someone stabbed you, and I happen to saw it and save you from that situation," Flynn explained to her, and after a moment, Luna opens her mouth.
"You're that barbeque guy, aren't you?"
Flynn tilted his head a little. 'Seriously, all she thinks is that time?' He sighs and nodded. "And you're the corn girl."
Luna chuckles, "By the way, thanks for saving me.." She put down the glass on the table and look around her. The room is quite simple, and this is not like a house where someone often stays in it. A few seconds later, she suddenly remembers someone who needs her right now.
"Uh, could you lend me your phone, please? I think mine is already gone under the sea." Luna look at him with a hopeful expression.
Well, if he's a bad guy, he wouldn't save her, right? She thought, and Flynn shakes his head. Disagree with her request.
"No, what if they knew you're still alive and try to kill you again? Aren't you afraid of dying?"
Luna blinks her eyes a few times before she replies to him. "I want to call my husband. I think he already in a rage and will kills someone if I'm not telling him I'm fine."
"Still, your condition is not-"
"Um, I'm not going back there either for the time being. So, can I stay here for a few days? I won't tell anyone about this location." Luna interjects him and Flynn, thinking for it a moment.
"Fine. You can call your husband. But only him." He took a landline telephone and handed it over to Luna; because his phone was also gone under the sea when he tries to save her earlier. His backup phone is the only one he had to contact his HQ, and it's a big NO to lend it to a stranger.
Luna took the landline telephone and dialed Raymond's phone and wait for it to ring.
When her calls rang for a few seconds, but Raymond still didn't pick up his phone, her heart race, and hoping that nothing happens to him. She's afraid that Raymond will commit something that will make him go to prison later. His temperament sometimes is beyond the prediction.
"Hello?"
"Oh, thank god, Baby! Hey, I'm fine..just…got hurt a little. Did you go and find me?" She asked worriedly — still, her voice sound concern and happy at the same time.
Flynn, who sits opposite her, listens to the conversation between them and frowns a bit. She really didn't reveal about her location to her husband and wait… 'Did she just call her husband's name is Raymond?'
He keeps maintaining his calm face and waits until she finishes talking with her husband. After she's done, she wipes her tears a bit and handed back the landline telephone to him.
"Is your husband named Raymond?" Flynn started and put back the landline telephone to its place on the nightstand table.
Luna looks at him and nods her head. "Yeah, why?" her body feels exhausted right now. Just after talking with Raymond, her mood brightened up a bit. Well, at least she knows Raymond still cares about her.
"Nothing. You should get some rest now. I'll sleep in the next room. If you need anything, just call me." Flynn went to the door, grab the doorknob.
"Wait, I still didn't know your name yet," Luna said as she just remembers that she hasn't even asked him about his name and what his real intention of saving her tonight.
"I'm Flynn. And you?"
"Oh, Flynn, thank you for saving me. And I'm Luna."
"Well, at least you still alive. Goodnight, Luna." Flynn rotates the doorknob and leaves her alone to get some rest. It's already dawn right now, and they both really need some rest.
When the door is closed, Luna lay back on the bed and touch her chest. "I'll make sure you live in hell after this, Sarah."
…
"Let him get treated," Liam said, and Rose and Dania nod their head.
They both carry Max, who already unconscious to the infirmary and leave them at the back deck.
"Is she safe?" Henry went to him and pat on Raymond's shoulder who still looking at the red dawn sky.
"Hmm, yeah. But Luna said not to tell anyone about it yet. We should pretend that Luna already left the ship last night."
"So, did she tell you who did it?" Liam and Harry also went to him and lean on the rails. Tonight was so long for them.
"She only mentions its 'she.' But I'll ask her again when she returns."
The three of them look at each other. "So, that's mean..it Sarah, isn't it?"
"Let's not reveal it yet. For Max, we can hold him captive until he tells us about-"
"No need," Raymond interject Liam's word. "Let him loose, for now. I have a plan for him."
With that being said, the three of them agree before they went back to their room. Raymond was still there, looking at the sunrise and pray that Luna will be safe wherever she is right now.
He really feels bad for putting Luna in that dangerous situation.
…
At the afternoon,
The yacht finally stops at the Jetty, and its the end of the family gathering event for this year.
Raymond's bringing his suitcase while Dania and Rose carry Luna's luggage while leaving the ship. Looking at the aloof Raymond, Barbara couldn't help but ask about Luna's whereabouts.
"You're alone, son? Where your so-called 'lover'?" She smirked at both Dania and Rose.
"You mean, my fiancee, mother?" Raymond said without looking at his mother.
"Hmm...I didn't approve of you both to be engaged, so she's not your fiancee."
"We don't need your approval to be together, mother. And yes, she's not here today. She leaves for France, had a business to attend to." Raymond said, and that's when Sarah walk passes by them.
She secretly smirked when hearing those words and saw how gloomy Raymond's face now. 'Humph, is that what you can give your mother a reason? Pathetic!'
Raymond ignores Barbara and walks behind Sarah. He is leaving the dock. When he passed by her, he said, "Sarah…if I ever see your face near me again.."
He clenched his jaw and said, "I will definitely not let you go alive just like that. Be careful. Your karma is just around the corner."
Shocked by Raymond's word, Sarah opened her mouth. She wants to say something, but Raymond already leaves her, and there's Liam who walks pass by her.
"You know you can't hide an elephant's body under your bed, right?" Liam said with a low voice, but it sends a shiver to Sarah.
She's trembling a bit and looking for Max to come down from the yacht. But there's no trace of him at all.
Like he already left the ship. Sarah starts to pale and scared of getting arrest.
Ramona also already cut her ties with Sarah, and Barbara didn't seem to care about her at all. Now she's all alone.
