Chapter 250 - Haunt Her For Her Lives

New York City,

It's already dusk when Raymond returns to his penthouse. He's been staying there since five years ago. He is only going to the main mansion if there's a family meeting or any essential occasions only.

When he opened the door, the pop sound makes him flinch a bit. There's glitter paper fall to his head a bit.

"I'm back, baby!" Luna said while standing at the side of the door. Smiling happily. Sighing in relief, Raymond went to hug her. Really tight.

"I miss you." He said and kissed her cheek. It feels so long since he sees her. And without her at his sides, he feels his everyday life is empty. He already accustoms to her presence in his life.

Luna pats on his back of the body. "I miss you too, baby..I'm sorry for making you worried, and I'm sorry..for not able to fight them."

"How were your injuries?" Raymond breaks the hug before he checks on her body. Starting from her face to her neck before Luna hold both of his hand. She is chuckling a bit, seeing how anxious he is.

"It's already healed now." She slowly took his hand and placed it on her chest, where she gets stabbed. "Here, I was stabbed here. It still has a scar, but I'll put on a cream later-"

Raymond hugs her again. "Sorry, I was late to find you and couldn't protect you." Luna shakes her head.

"No, darling..it's not your fault. It's me who should take the blame. I'm not careful enough." She plants a kiss on his chest. "And…I'll take my revenge seriously this time."

"You can just tell me who is 'she,' and I'll make sure I'll put her behind the bar."

Luna laughs and breaks the hug; she leads Raymond to the couch at the living hall and sits down. "No, baby. I'll do it my way. And…I need my two assistants back with me again. I need their professionalism to do this kind of job."

Raymond turned silent, looking at her for a moment. He's thinking if he should let her do her way or do his way. "Are you sure?"

Luna nodded her head. "I'm very much sure about this."

Seeing how severe Luna is with her decision, Raymond sigh, and nod. "Okay, I'll call them back to assist you." 'Maybe I should just wait and see the result for a while.'

"Thank you, baby." She hugs him and kisses him again.

"By the way, you still haven't told me yet, who's the one who tries to kill you?"

Chuckles, Luna stands up and says, "You'll know it later." she then reached out her hand to him, and he looks at her a bit confused, "Now, let us have some dinner. I cook you something."

"Oh..my wife's home cooking. I can't wait to eat it." Raymond sound excited to taste it, which then make Luna happy to hear it. It's not like this is the first time he tastes her dishes, but for him, this is the first time he feels like they're really at 'home' after five years parting with her.

Except it'll be genuinely complete when his son was here too.

The next day,

"Be good when I'm not around," Luna said while adjusting the tie on Raymond's collar.

Looking at the woman in front of him, he couldn't help but kiss her lips. "I love you." He whispers, and Luna blushed.

"I love you too." She replies, and when Raymond open the door, two women were already standing in their penthouse hallway.

"Lady Luna, welcome back," Rose said with full of ethics while Dania already hugs the girl. "Good to see you again, Luna."

"Ahem." Raymond cleared his throat a bit, making them shyly give them two space.

Kiss on Luna's cheek, and he said, "I'll see you tonight."

"Mm." Luna waves her hand to Raymond, and once the elevator door is closed, both Rose and Dania hurriedly went inside the house.

"So, is it true that Sarah tries to kill you?" Dania asking her first, and Rose patiently wait for Luna's answer.

Luna nod and went to the living hall, followed by them. "Yup, but she thought that I already dead."

"She's a witch! I'll kill her for you," Dania said, and Luna immediately shakes her head. "No, no...Dania..you can't."

"But, Lady Luna.," Rose interjects the conversation. She thought what Dania said is not wrong. Killing a bad guy is not a sin, right?

"Relax you guys...I have planned on something when I recuperate. I want her to think that I was really dead. And I want to haunt her for her lives."

"Haunted her?" Rose and Dania look at each other. 'What kind of revenge is that?'

Luna nods and smiles. "So…I need both of you to help me. Find me the best 'ghost' material for makeup and clothes, projector, and maybe we need to learn a few magician tricks too." her eyes sparkle when she lay out her plan.

"Oh, wait...I think I need a stimulant drug too. A drug to make one hallucinate the worst-case scenario? Can you find me that?" she looks at Rose with a hopeful expression.

Rose slowly nods her head. "I think I can find it."

"Good! Now, shall we begin our plan?" She claps her hand and looks at them both.

"Yeah."

"Of course."

"So, first, I need her schedule." Luna runs to her bedroom and finds a laptop that Raymond gives it to her last night. Well, at first she was surprised to see that his house is equipped with woman's clothes and complete from head to toes.

She thought it was Sarah's, but then she notices each of the racks and shelves has a symbol of her name on it. A moon. So, it's mean that he bought all the dress just for her even though he doesn't know if she will come back or not. She was so touched to see it last night.

When she returned to the living hall, she switches on her laptop and gives it to Rose to hack into Sarah's information.

She needs to know Sarah's routine so that her plan will succeed.

"Oh, what is this?" Rose looks a bit shocked, and she glances at Luna's face. Luna lifts up her eyebrow to Rose. Asking her what.

"Master Ben makes a statement to engaging with the daughter from Rochester's house."

"Huh?" Luna was also dumbfounded. Brian never say that he had someone he likes, why suddenly he wants to engage with someone from-

'Wait! Rochester?!' Luna turns the laptop to her direction. It is true. It says it's from Rochester.

"When is this happening?"

"Um..in two weeks later," Rose said.

"But, hey…isn't your Master once engage with Miss Caitlin? She's from Rochester clan, right?" Dania tilts her head, and Rose snapped her finger.

"Yeah! You're right! Master Ben did engage with Miss Caitlin before he married Madam Lisa. Oh! I see..so he wants to continue back his engagement with her.." Rose sound so relief and she is squealing like a girl now.

"Who is this, Caitlin?" Luna still blur.

"Oh..she's Master Ben's fiancee before Master married Madam Lisa. Miss Caitlin's so soft and gentle, and she's beautiful too. I like her when they were together. I mean, I always want them to be together, but you know..the fate always had them separate. Like a star-crossed lover." Rose sighs. She suddenly feels pity toward Caitlin.

Luna rubs her lips while thinking. She remembers that Brian once told her about he's hurt someone's else heart. 'Is she the one he said last time?'

'Well, if that could make him happy, I'm happy too. But, why do I feel something is off. Did Brian really love her, or he just want to..repent his action?'

'Ah~ but, this is not the time to meddle with his affair. I'll advise him later. For now…'

"So, she's not a threat. We're going to hunt down Caitlin's sister after all. We have to make a preparation since I'll make a comeback at the party later."
