Chapter 260 - I Kill Someone

"Babe..what're you doing?" Raymond tilts his head a little when he saw Luna was giggling while holding his phone on the bed. He just walked out of the bathroom while drying his hair with the towel.

Turn her body to the man, she smiled. "Ah..nothing..just scaring someone." She said and gave back the phone to him. Luna already dresses up earlier than him after bathing together.

Took the phone from Luna's hand, he looks at the call log on the screen before he's frowning. "Did she call me?"

Luna nodded. "Yeah..and I don't like it. Why did she still contacting you again?" Luna folds her arm while questioning him. Even though she knew Raymond will not care about Sarah, the jealousy still flamed in her.

"Just ignore her, okay?" She said again, and a second later, Raymond shows Luna his phone screen. "I'm already blocking her number now. Don't worry, I won't fall for her cheap trick anymore."

"Hmm...That's better." Luna sighs and walks to the door. "I think I heard Owen coming to your office bringing us breakfast." She said.

"Mm, yup...I called him earlier. Is a simple breakfast okay with you?" Raymond asked. He's already done wearing his suit and combs his hair. Look so refresh and shining after absorbing some energy from his beloved wife early in the morning.

"I'm fine with anything." She smiled and extended her hands to him before they both walk to the office.

Just like what Luna said, there's already a breakfast set and coffee cup on the coffee table with a note from Owen. Saying to enjoy their meals. While having breakfast, Luna text Rose to pick her up at Wayne Tower in another thirty minutes.

She planned on going to the shopping mall and find a dress that suits her taste for Brian's engagement party that held this weekend. She suddenly decides to call Lily and asks her how she's been doing later. Oh, she misses them both.

"Mm..honey, during the party this weekend, do Alex need to come too? You know, it's Brian's engagement day. He probably wants to anticipate with others."

Raymond looked at her, "Yeah. He'll be there. But, he is gonna guarded by Jamal and a few other Brian's teams. So, he's not approachable by outsiders. He and Lily are in tight security, don't worry."

Luna nods. "Oh..that's a relief."

"They'll be entering the hall for a few minutes before they're sent back to their suite. It's for their safety. Everyone knows how precious Brian's 'child' is. So the security around them is totally top-notch. You don't have to worry if my parents will notice him or not. I bet they can't even see their face at that time. It's a private party, and only selected media is allowed to enter as I heard."

"Hmm...I miss them." Luna said while averting her eyes to the outside of the window. Looking at the bright skies outside.

"I know. I miss my child too. We'll see him after the party. I'll take him back to our penthouse before sending him back to Seattle with Jamal." He rubs on Luna's arm gently.

"Elanor, listen. Your daughter is sick. She needs proper treatment and therapy." Dr. Angela said when Elanor comes to her clinic after getting a call from a nurse saying that Sarah got a panic attack after making a call.

She rushed to the clinic and took Sarah from the sofa at the waiting lounge. "My daughter is fine, Angela. She's not sick!" Elanor said firmly. Believing that Sarah was just tired and lost her mind for a short time. Not to the point of having a mental illness.

"I have the lab result in her blood test that she had taken a drug, Elanor. If her condition worsens, who knows what might she do in the future?" she still tries to convince the mom since Sarah herself cannot accept the diagnosis.

"Please, Angela! Stop it with your diagnosis, babbling. She's fine. At least, let her calm down until next week. If she is still hurting herself, I'll send her back here. Okay?" Elanor glare at the doctor, which then Dr. Angela sighs heavily.

"Okay..as for now, I'll prescribe her with a few medicines, but she needs to stop taking that drug. Or else, it only worsens her condition."

"Whatever you need, doc. Hurry up. To make me come all the way here will make my reputation look bad, urgh." She murmurs while still looking at her daughter. Sarah's still shivering and biting her fingernails.

Even though Dr. Angela annoyed with this patient, as a doctor, she still needs to do what it should do. She instructs the nurse to prepare the medicine and bill. After paying them, the two of them walk out from the clinic in a hurry.

"They're only thinking about their reputation rather than their mental state, huh, doc?" One of the nurses said, which make Dr. Angela shrugged her shoulder.

"That's how messed up their life is as a noble."

Inside the car, Elanor keeps glancing at Sarah.

"Hey..are you okay, dear?" She asked when Sarah was not replying to her since she came to fetch her from the clinic.

Looking at her side, Sarah starts crying. "Mom...I think…. I've sinned. I kill someone." She starts to hiccup, and Elanor opens her mouth in disbelieve.

"No..no…you must be joking, right? No way you will kill someone. You're my good daughter. Stop scaring me." She said to calm her down. Well, to be honest, she also needs to be calm down.

What if what Sarah said is true? Then the engagement will totally be off, and their family is obviously gonna tear down by society. She can't afford to bear a humiliation anymore. Enough with what Sarah has done on her wedding day!

"I…I did…I kill Luna!" She pulls her hair and hits her head with her fist.

"Lu…Luna? Isn't she long dead? There's no way you kill her. No..its not you dear. Someone must be putting the blame on you." Elanor grips her finger on the steering.

If she remembered it again, it was Barbara who kept telling her that Raymond's wife would be eliminated from their household. She did promise her to make her daughter the next wife of the leader. But where the promises go now?

The wife of the Wayne leader is Sabrina. The one who climbs the position of President is James's first child with Daisy, Liam. While Raymond only held a job as a Vice President. Even though that position is dominant too, but the promise Barbara made to her is long gone.

'That bitch! How dare she make my daughter suffer like this! Not only she betrays the promise they made, but she dares to make my daughter take the blame on what they are doing?! huh!! you'll pay the consequences later, Barb!'

"Hic…hic…"

Elanor caresses on Sarah's head. "Don't cry, honey…I will make sure they take the blame. You are not doing anything wrong. Just don't listen to the voice that blaming you, okay?"

"I…I…" Sarah looks at her mother. She didn't dare to tell her that she meant the other Luna. Not Luna Robert, Raymond's previous wife. The death of Luna Arista is totally is her doing.

"Shh..do not think about it anymore. Now, you pack your things. I'll send you to my estate home on the outskirt of this city. Calm yourself down when you there and prepare for this weekend, alright?"

She could only hope that Stephen will not find out about this. If he knew that she help Sarah, she probably gets into another argument with him.

Stephen sometimes can be a hard person too. Even though he's strict with Caitlin, she could see that there's still love in Stephen's heart with that child of his dead mistress.

Caitlin looks so much like her mother. This is another reason she hates her because of Caitlin's looks, which is precisely the same as her enemy from long ago. Thinking about her makes Elanor realizes, just what kind of apartment that Caitlin gives Sarah to stay over?

She clenches her jaws. 'That damn kid! I should have taught her a lesson or kill her when she was a baby!'

'Hmph! Just wait until Sarah married into Lawrence's household. I'll crumble each of your existence in this world!'
