Chapter 304 - Don't tell me...

"He doesn't have to choose between us. He's not like you, James. He loves us more than you think!" she said as she was pointing the gun on James' head.

James smirk before he glances at Luna's legs. He grabs her legs and…Thump!

Luna's head hit the hard ground. She groans and tries to stand up again. But before she could move, a substantial weight already sits on her body, which makes her cry in pain.

James wipes his blood on his nose and swirling the gun with his finger. "You know…you should learn how to fight with a real man. I mean, you're too weak even though you try to act tough." he scoffed, and it's hard for Luna to breathe appropriately when he sits on her like sitting on a chair!

"Let..let go, you sicko.." She tries to push him from sitting on her stomach. "Haha…hahahaha…"

"Sicko? I like that word too." James still laughs, and not long after, he looks at his watch. "Ah~ I like to torment you more, but it is almost time."

He then turns his head to Luna, which looks like she's gonna faint again. "Oh, don't sleep yet, Luna. This is the best part now." James chuckles and shoves the gun inside Luna's mouth. "Mmf!!"

"Get up," he said and move to the side. Letting Luna stand up. Once James moves from her, she could finally breathe and hardly standing up when her mouth was shoved with the gun's muzzle.

"Good. Now..follow me. We'll meet your love right now, and he'll bring me my precious grandson." he grins, and Luna feels uneasy about this. 'What does he means? Wait! Where's Alex?? Why I didn't see him?'

As he changes the gun position to her stomach, Luna had no choice except to comply with his word.

"Mr. Raymond? Are you sure this is the place??" Owen asks through the headset. They are now inside of the helicopter, and he's the one being the pilot bringing his boss to this place.

"I'm sure this is the place," Raymond replied, looking at the location Sky's sent to him. It was an abandoned building which never been used anymore. As he was about to take off his headset, he saw that Brian also arrive at the same time as him.

Except he is inside his military aircraft and elite squad with him. They keep swirling on the air as they saw two people coming out from the exit door at the rooftop.

On top of the building, Raymond could see a pool without water, and inside it, one big tiger is circling inside the pool. It looks hungry.

Raymond did not wait long as he then moves to the back and opens the helicopter door and look down on the rooftop, finding a place where he can jump off. "Oweennn!!" he called Owen from the back.

Turning his head to his boss, he saw Raymond signaling him to lower the helicopter close to the building. Well, he's not an expert, but he can try.

As the helicopter is reaching the edge of the rooftop, Raymond jumps off from it, and Owen pulls the control stick to fly away from the building to find a place where he can park his helicopter. He's not skilled in combat, and he thinks it's better to let the pro handle it.

As for Brian, he instructs a few of his men to go down using the rope, and half of them stay inside the aircraft and standby with the weapon. There's no guarantee that James is alone right now.

Seeing Raymond was alone, James was trembling with anger and yanks Luna's hair. Hurting her like she was trash on his eyes.

"Where's your son?!!" he snarled.

"Mmff!!"Luna tries to keep her mouth shut from shouting. She can't let Raymond worry about her. Luna was so relieved knowing that Raymond comes alone. At least she knew Raymond would never hurt Alex in any way.

"Don't!" Raymond almost wants to shoot that old man when seeing he yank Luna's hair.

"Calm down, dad. We can talk it over." He still wants to give his father a chance to submit. "Look up there and around you, dad. There's a bunch of professional teams which can kill you in an instant, why don't we avoid that and talk?"

James smirk at that. This is what worries Luna. She's been thinking of why the building seems odds. She also been thinking of how this guy able to bring her to this city? They were meet up in New York City, and how come they end up in Buffalo city in short of time if not using an airplane? He must have a backup plan.

'Don't tell me he uses all of his money to hired the mobs here and plan on massacre us?'

"James…we can talk this matter together. I know you actually hurt inside, aren't you? You regret what happens in your first marriages. You want to put the blame on yourself, but you think you can't. Like you said…you are actually…still love your ex-wife, didn't you?" Luna tries to slow talk, but all she got after that was the grip of James' hand on her neck.

"Ack!!"

Raymond can't stand anymore as he then took out his gun and aim for James' head. "Let her go, dad!"

"Or I will f.u.c.k.i.n.g kill you!!"

"Kill me if you can," James said, and a second later, a large group of people starts to come out from their hiding with their guns and high tech weaponry. They were attacking the aircraft and people inside it, where a few other attacking Raymond and the elite squad which on the rooftop.

"Kill them all!!" James screamed and dragged Luna to the dry pool on the rooftop. She punches on James's arm to let her go, but it seems like this guy was so strong. Like he was on drugs!

Raymond saw Luna was dragged to the pool, which is also near the edge of the rooftop, "F.u.c.k!" he then shoot the person who wants to stab him with the knife and run after his father.

"Erghh!!" Luna pushes her feet to stop him from dragging her. "Stop…this... Ja...James.."

"I told that stupid son of mine to bring Alex! If he didn't, then I have to kill you! Hah! Hahah! He dares to fool me?!" He laughs and glare at Luna with full of hatred.

"Look, darling! He doesn't love you!! He only cares about his son! He wants to get to the top using his son!"

Luna can't hold on any longer, "I..I don't care, James…He..he..loves us..un..unlike you.."

"Ergh!!!" James tightens his grip on Luna's neck to the full strength. 

As she almost lost her consciousness, she saw Raymond run to them. He looks so pale like he was so scared. 'Raymond….'

"F.u.c.k! I said, let her go!" Raymond pulls James' body before he could throw Luna to the pool where there's a tiger, and James slightly turns his body around.

Stumble, James falls to the pool, Luna was thrown to the side, while Raymond...Raymond falls from the building.

Just before he falls down, he pointing his gun on his dad's head but then changes it to his chest...

Bang!!

Bang!!

Bam!!

Luna's gasping, trying to breathe, and as she heard the loud smashing sound, she turns her head around and looks below the building.

"Ray…Hic! Raymond!!!!" she cries, seeing the one she loves to fall down from the high building to a car's rooftop down there.

"Luna!" Brian holds her shoulder and then looks at the man who has been shot on the chest and his legs. Unable to moves, he was suddenly attacked by the beast inside the pool.

Because of the tremendous shock, Luna lost her consciousness. She can't process anything right now. All she can felt is pain—a great pain in her heart.

A few hours later, 

Beep- beep- beep- beep-

"How is she?" Brian asked the doctor as they examine Luna's condition.

"It's strange. The patient didn't injure much, but…its like she doesn't want to wake up. It's like her mind forcing her body to keep in slumber. Like she lost her spirit to live. This...is something that medicine can't treat. She'll be in a coma for as long as she wants. If she has any close family member, maybe their presence can help her soul." the doctor explains it to Brian.

Brian sighs while cupping his face with his hands. "Thanks, doc.," he said and sat at the edge of the bed. Looking at Luna's face.

"Hey..wake up, Luna. What will I tell your son about you? About Raymond? Come on..don't do this to me. Please..wake up." He holds her hand while trying to pray to god. If there's one.

Bam!

The door was open by someone, and the hiccups sound make Brian turn his head to the door.

"Mama!! Mama!!" Alex was sobbing and run to the bed. Bury his face to Luna's chest. "Mama, wake up!! Wake up!!" 

Jamal, at the door frame, wipes his tears a bit. He was rushing to the hospital when he heard about what happened to Luna and Raymond. He could never say to Alex about what happened to his parents along the way to the hospital.

"Mama…please wake up...I promise to be a good child! Don't leave me, please..mama..I beg you, please.." he hiccups and keeps rubbing his face on Luna's chest.

It makes Brian even sadder. It's so heart wrenching to see Alex in this state. "Alex.. lets Mama get some sleep, okay? We'll persuade her again." He holds Alex's shoulder and but then the boy shakes his head and still crying.

"No…I don't wanna! Where's papa? Why papa isn't here?"

Gulped, Brian didn't know how to answer Alex's question.

"Daddy! Where's Papa??!" Alex's knees fell on the floor when Brian didn't answer his question. Only tears keep flowing down on his cheek. "Don't tell me..."
