Chapter 81 - Symphonia Valley

The huge door opened and what appeared in front of her a huge open field with a castle of in the middle of it.

Castle? What the?

There were a few huge trees scattered around the castle. And under each tree, stood one person.

Eh? It was then that she saw the figures under each tree! It was her friends!

All of them saw Jiang Ying Yue too and they smiled in delight. Finally she's out!

Liu Weimin in particular smiled so wide that one would wonder if his cheek could stretch out more than that. He was relieved! His Yue Yue was fine!

Han Jinghua waved so fast that Jiang Ying Yue was afraid that her hand would break from all that waving.

Han Jianyu on the other hand was much calmer. He merely smiled and nodded.

Jiang Ying Yue wanted to walk towards them but it was at that time that she saw that she was in sort of a transparent tunnel. It was like she was trapped in a glass. She could see her friends but couldn't go to them and vice versa. Except that this 'glass' was made purely out of a constantly flowing strong wave of Spiritual Qi.

Liu Weimin seemed to know what she was thinking and he shook his head as a sign that they couldn't meet each other for now.

Jiang Ying Yue was dumbfounded. Why?

The male's voice was heard once again at this time. "Welcome all of you to Symphonia Valley's castle. Now that your friend is here, you may walk forward and enter the castle."

All of them were suspicious but nevertheless, they walked forward and entered the castle.

Jiang Ying Yue entered from the middle side, Liu Weimin from the right and the Han siblings from the left, each came out of their own 'tunnel'.

Han Jinghua wanted to run towards Jiang Ying Yue but suddenly, a figure of a beautiful woman in white materialized before their eyes.

Wasn't she the one that appeared in her head from the ordinary looking stone?

Jiang Ying Yue might not see her face just now but she recognized her robes. It was the same white robe with white spider lily pattern on it. Funny huh? To think that such a flower was embroidered on a white robe.

The woman looked like she was around 30 years old. She was very beautiful and graceful but Jiang Ying Yue could feel that she was dangerous.

The woman smiled at all of them. She opened her cherry red lips and said, "Welcome to Symphonia Valley's castle everyone. I am the master of the castle and valley. My name is Changying. Congratulations on passing the tests. You must be wondering why you are here right?"

Changying continued after a short pause. "Each of you were given the same tests in order to receive our valley's inheritance. Depending on the result of the first test, the intensity of the next two tests relied on it. But the real test was in the treasure room for if you failed, you would die! But all of you passed it."

Changying then turned to look at Jiang Ying Yue. "Unfortunately, our valley's inheritance can only be inherited by one person and that person is someone that passed all of the tests with the highest intensity. Girl, what is your name?"

Jiang Ying Yue answered respectfully, "My name is Jiang Ying Yue." She bowed her head slightly. Why? Because Jiang Ying Yue somehow gave an aura of authority although she was portraying gracefulness through and through.

Changying nodded. "Jiang Ying Yue, you are the chosen one to inherit the valley's legacy. You are the only that could carry the knowledge and techniques that we will impart to you. Everything that you need to know about the valley will be made known to you and you will decide whether to accept the inheritance or not."

She levitated towards Jiang Ying Yue and touched Jiang Ying Yue's forehead with her slender forefinger.

Suddenly, rows and rows of information appeared in her head. It was all about the Symphonia Valley.

Symphonia Valley was the only mystical musical valley that had ever existed in the world. It was a hidden mystical organization with limited amount of members but each of them was very powerful.

The valley was located on an island in between the West and East Continent.

But one day, the emperor of the West Continent and several elders of a few organizations that knew of their existence felt threatened with the valley's existence and power thus resulting in them teaming up to eradicate the valley and its members.

No matter how powerful their valley was, against powerful cultivators of the West Continent and several continents, they were severely pushed back. And it so happened that one of the valley's elders betrayed them.

Changying, being the successor of the valley at that time, was forced to run away by the master and elders of the valley. They asked her to run to their hidden castle at the East Continent and so she did.

All for the sake of finding the possible successor of the valley. So, Changying ran and stayed at this castle alone eversince.

A few people managed to enter the secret door of the valley which was the barren land that they fell in the other day. Apparently, once your blood fell on a specific spot on the land, it would activate the mechanism and the secret door would open. Well in this case, it was the cracks.

There was an array at the bottom of the cracks that resulted in them being transferred to the tunnel the minute they fell.

What a weird door right?

But two things that Jiang Ying Yue noticed that one, the continent that took action to go against Symphonia Valley and that was the West Continent. The Moon Empire again?!

Second, the time that happened. It was 10 000 years ago and Long Xing was sealed 10 000 years ago as well! Why did the emperor decide to eradicate all possible power that could overthrown him?

Was he really that paranoid that he would be overthrown? And one day, he would die too no?

Or was there something else, a conspiracy that ran deep?

And maybe this had a connection to her being sent away from West Continent to this continent?

Where were her parents? What happened to them?

So many questions yet it all lead to the puzzle getting harder and harder.

Whatever it was, she would uncover them all.
