Chapter 107 - Pure Moon

Jiang Ying Yue strutted over to the alchemy room. Upon arriving there, she noticed her master making potions.

"Hello master!" She greeted cheerfully.

Yan Hua glanced over at Jiang Ying Yue. "So, how's your body now? Feel better?"

Ha? Did Mu Shao Qing's subordinate tell her master about yesterday's matter? It didn't seem so. He said his subordinate altered her master's memory.

"What do you mean master?" She probed.

"Yesterday after you got back from the town, we practiced alchemy together until morning remember? And I asked you to stay in your room to rest and recover your mental strength. Don't tell me you are too tired that you forgot everything?" Yan Hua gave her a side glance.

So it was like that. Mu Shao Qing's subordinate altered his memory into thinking that they were together until morning. Tsk tsk just how powerful was this man and his subordinates? They could evn alter people's memory.

Jiang Ying Yue gave a sheepish grin at her master. "Oh yea. I forgot about it. I was too tired I guess."

"Why are you here now? I already gave you a break today to rest. Go back to your room to rest. Just have dinner with me later on."

Jiang Ying Yue knew that she had nothing to do here for now so she went back to her room.

Upon arriving, she disappeared and appeared in the Godly Space. To be exact, it was in her modern room.

She went downstairs and there, she saw Long Xing, Anguo and Rufus on the sofa at the hall.

Long Xing looked up when he saw her descending down the stairs.

"You're here." He smiled.

"En." She nodded and sat next to Long Xing. The sofa was L-shaped and the other side was already occupied with Anguo and Rufus.

Now, she was surrounded by two god looking guys and a cute toddler.

"How are you feeling?" Long Xing asked in a caring manner.

"I am good. So, you guys must've heard about Mu Shao Qing from here. What do you guys think of him?" She asked all of them.

Rufus, being the most knowledgeable one answered her. "To be able to suppress your chaotic dark element with just his Spiritual Qi proves that he is strong. Besides, his elements are two weird ones. When we lost soul connection with you, we panicked. We could only connect with you again once you were awake."

"We felt the remnant of two unidentified energies in your body thus we knew that he was the one who saved you based on his aura." Anguo added.

"Then, do you guys know what actually happened to me last night? Shao Qing told me that the full moon was something that appeared every 50 years. What was that?"

Rufus and Anguo nodded their heads. "He was right. Yesterday's special full moon is called as the 'Pure Moon'. Every 50 years, the Pure Moon will appear. This moon will absorb the dark element on this world, filter it and release pure dark element. This energy is different from the dark element of the devil's." Rufus said.

Then he continued. "The devil's dark element is purely evil and bloodthirsty while the moon's pure dark element is just another element just like fire, water, wind and earth. The pure dark element will be released back to the earth to be absorbed. But, people with dark element will not be affected at all. They'll only benefit from the process."

"How? But why was I in pain instead?" Jiang Ying Yue asked.

"Because dark element is just like any other element. It is not evil at all. Which is why the very few people with dark element in this world will only benefit from it. You on the other hand, your dark element went rampant because it had a trace of evilness in it as you are the bearer of the Blood Moon curse." Rufus explained patiently.

"So you mean, the dark element in me couldn't go through the purification process because of the evil trace in it? And that is why it went crazy, almost killing me in the process?" Jiang Ying Yue inquired more.

Rufus nodded his head. "Precisely that. We didn't inform you because we ourselves forgot about the Pure Moon's existence. Sorry master. And the event last night wouldn't kill you, but instead, it'll eat all of your other elements making you a sole dark element bearer thus turning you into a devil."

Jiang Ying Yue was surprised. "It means that Shao Qing basically saved me from turning into a devil yesterday." She needed to thank him more.

Despite being shameless and a pervert, that man saved her. To Jiang Ying Yue, saving her from turning into a devil was equivalent to saving her life, even if she didn't die. Who knew how hard would it be for her to control her bloodthirsty nature and emotions once she turned into a full devil?

Anguo looked at Jiang Ying Yue attentively before saying, "Master, the man called Mu Shao Qing is a bit weird. He is strong but his strength seemed to be sealed. It must've been really hard fro him to control the energy in body last night. He might be injured too."

Hearing this, Jiang Ying Yue frowned. Why would he risk his life just for her sake? Was this guy an idiot?

"Sealed? I didn't know that. But I did see half of his eyes was golden and the other was icy-blue in color. Even his Spiritual Qi was that way."

"Golden? Icy-blue?" Rufus fell into a deep thought upon that discovery.

After a bit of time, he suddenly raised his head to look at Jiang Ying Yue. "Master, if I am not wrong, according to the ancient text that I've read, only two persons have that Spiritual Qi. But the two persons were true gods. Even I don't know what the two colors represent as elements. This was an old record with very little information in it."

Jiang Ying Yue was shocked!

'Two true gods? GODS? What is this? The gods are gay and they got married? And Mu Shao Qing is their son?'

Jiang Ying Yue hurriedly shook her head at that ridiculous thought of hers.

But this also meant that Mu Shao Qing's identity was even more mysterious than she thought it would be. But she wasn't worried about this. He promised that he would tell her one day so he would.

Eh? Wait a minute. Why did she care so much about his identity? That guy filled her head in no time.

Jiang Ying Yue took a deep breath to calm her chaotic mind and said, "Whatever it is, he is my benefactor and he saved me. So, what will happen to me now?"

Rufus shook his head. "Nothing. Since he had used his Spiritual Qi to suppress the dark element in you, you still have the same amount of time to gather all the ingredients and make the pill. Remember you have less than 2 years left."

"Oh yea! Remember to cultivate and absorb the moonlight every full moon like what he said. It'll benefit you." Rufus added.

Jiang Ying Yue nodded in understanding and she turned her head at Long Xing. "Hey Long Xing, why are you so quiet?"
