Chapter 108 - Long Xing's Peculiarity

Long Xing, who had been in his own staring at Jiang Ying Yue froze upon hearing her calling up to him.

"I've been listening to you guys talking which is why I have been quiet." He lied.

"Yea right. You look like you are lost in your own world." Jiang Ying Yue exposed his lie.

Long Xing didn't know what to say to Jiang Ying Yue so he hurriedly stood up and said, "I seem to remember I have something to do. I'll go back to my room first."

Then he ran away as if a ghost was chasing after him.

Jiang Ying Yue looked at this and frowned. She looked at her two guardians and asked, "What happened to him?"

Rufus the toddler couldn't wait expose that man. "Master, yesterday, when we lost connection with you, that guy went crazy and tried every way possible to reconnect with you. He was about to turn this house upside down when he suddenly stopped and ran outside. Then, he immediately punched the trees and shouted things like 'You are useless Long Xing' and more."

The toddler then continued his rant. "Then, he spent days worrying about you in here until we could reconnect back with you. But that was when we heard your conversation with Mu Shao Qing. He had been quiet since then."

Since the time in here worked differently, it took a few days of Long Xing worrying about her although the time outside was just a night.

"I understand. You guys do your own things first. I'll go look at that guy."

With that, Jiang Ying Yue got up and went to Long Xing's room. She knocked twice but there was still no answer.

Without caring whether he was naked or not inside the room, Jiang Ying Yue turned the doorknob and entered the room.

What entered her sight was a man, clad in his maroon robe lying on the bed with his eyes open looking at the ceiling.

Jiang Ying Yue had bought this guy many robes in different shades of red everytime she went out.

His ink black hair sprawled on the bed and with his robe slightly open, revealing a bit of his pale chest was a sight to behold.

Despite her being casual with this guy, she still almost get a nosebleed looking at him.

Too enchanting ah!

She walked and directly sat on the bed next to him. "Hey Long Xing, what is wrong with you?"

The man seemed to have felt the weight on the right side of his bed and when he turned to look at the person, he was slightly shocked!

What was she doing in his room?

Long Xing sprang up and sat on the bed across her. He didn't realize that his robe was slightly lose, causing Jiang Ying Yue to directly see his pale and muscular chest. She almost get a nosebleed again!

This feminine looking man was too sexy! Too beautiful! Suddenly, she thought about the evildoer.

If Long Xing was an enchanting man, than man was just like a god. The aura, the face, everything about him screamed masculinity and oozed testosterone from every pore of his body.

Eh? Why was she thinking about that guy now?

"Ying Yue why are you here?" Long Xing asked. His green eyes gleamed as he was quite embarrassed being seen that way. He was lying down on the bed ah! How improper.

If Jiang Ying Yue could hear his thoughts, she would smack his head. You are worried about that now? She didn't even think of anything looking at him like that except.. *cough cough* sexy..

"I am worried about you silly. I heard that you were really worried about me that you punched the trees outside is that true?" She really cared about this guy. He was the closest person to her in this world other than her best friends and family members.

Long Xing's face darkened. It must've been that little toddler selling him out! He would seek vengeance with him later on. He did not care if that toddler was older than him by 20 000 years. He only cared about Rufus selling him out!

Long Xing's pale ears had a tinge of red at the end of it when he answered. "Yea, I was really worried about you. I didn't know what would happen to you in the outside world."

"Then why have you been quiet eversince you heard my conversation with Shao Qing?"

"Well, I want to know, do you like him?" He looked at Jiang Ying Yue's facial expression as he asked this.

Jiang Ying Yue froze a bit before laughing. "Hahaha Long Xing. I barely know that guy so no, I don't like him. Why?"

Long Xing seemed to be relieved but he still wanted to ask more. Even he didn't know why he felt this way.

He didn't mind Jiang Ying Yue being surrounded by Liu Weimin, Fan Xiu and even Han Jianyu but with Mu Shao Qing, he felt danger. Danger for what he didn't know.

He didn't see the moment Jiang Ying Yue was about to be kissed by Mu Shao Qing but he heard everything. He could even feel Jiang Ying Yue's mood changed after that in the Godly Space.

He could feel her hurt. Just like Mu Shao Qing, he wondered the same question. Who hurt her?

His heart felt slightly uncomfortable when he heard that Jiang Ying Yue was in Mu Shao Qing's arms. He didn't know why but he wanted her in his arms, not that guy. He wanted to see her smile only to him, not to anyone else especially that guy.

But why was he feeling this way?

Jiang Ying Yue noticed Long Xing's peculiarity and she asked him again. "Long Xing, why did you ask me whether I like Shao Qing or not?"

Long Xing shook his head. "Nothing. I am just worried that you'll fall for someone you barely know. You should be careful." He warned.

Jiang Ying Yue waved her hands. "No I wouldn't fall in love easily. Don't worry. I know how to cherish myself now. I don't even mind spending the rest of my life alone." She smiled.

Behind that smile was a broken woman. She really wouldn't give her heart so easily anymore.

"Ying Yue, the one that broke your heart- was it a man in your previous life? In the other world?" He asked with his calm tone.

Jiang Ying Yue felt like she could at least share this with Long Xing so she answered truthfully. "Yea. His name was Su Zihao. He cheated on me with his secretary and I caught them fucking in his apartment." She made a bitter smile.

Long Xing had the impulse to get her into his embrace upon seeing that bitter smile but he didn't do so. Eventhough he didn't know what secretary and apartment meant, but he assumed that that person was Su Zihao's worker and the latter meant a house.

He said to Jiang Ying Yue, "Ying Yue, no matter what happens in the future, I'll always be by your side. You can always rely on me." Long Xing wanted to let her know that he would always be there to support her no matter what.

He wanted her to be happy, always with that bright smile of hers.

"En I know. You are my best friend remember?" Jiang Ying Yue smiled.

"Don't worry. My heart is more or less healed. I no longer feel that sad upon recalling that memory. He is just my past. Nothing more." She reassured Long Xing.

Long Xing nodded his head in agreement. "En, always smile and be happy Ying Yue. You are beautiful that way."

"Hahaha you are so cheesy!" Jiang Ying Yue punched his shoulders lightly.

They chatted a bit more before Jiang Ying Yue went to her room to rest a bit. Jiang Ying Yue then took a long bath shower then exited the space to have dinner with Yan Hua. She felt great that the time in her space is faster than the outside world.

She could rest more! Truly a great feeling.
