Chapter 6006: Three Firmaments Of Splendor
“Take them down!” Countless combatants sieged Splendor Fortress.
When Li Qiye’s group came near enough, they saw members of numerous sects and dynasties.
“Immortal Suppression, Phantom, Witch King, Sky Tree, the Ouyang...” Sky Step said: “Enigma too...”
Every sect in Sin that had the power to be here was present. The missing ones just weren’t strong enough.
All eyes were on the fortress, unable to contain glimmers of greed. This towering fortress was made from divine metal with engraved jades, creating a grand formation.
They had seen walls made of precious stones and metals before, but nothing to this extent. Immortal Suppression didn’t have enough resources to be as generous.
The things driving everyone crazy were the three floating layers above the fortress.
The first layer was a continent with countless alchemy materials and plants of the oldest age. The quantity and grade exceeded any other garden found in Sin.
The second layer was a mountain with colorful metals of various elements. One looked like the sun while another resembled a beating heart of the holy affinity.
The third layer was an ocean with countless treasures and weapons. Although they were sealed, waves of power still leaked outward. One cauldron poured down primordial chaos. A divine sword released magnificent hums, capable of flattening a region with one swing. A particular staff exuded clear rays, seemingly a heavenly symbol of authority.
Of course, he was astounded to see the three layers for the first time. He didn’t know a single sect could be so rich.
“There is nothing comparable to Splendor Terra.” He said softly.
“You haven’t seen their immortal palace yet, those treasures are the real deal. Each one is beyond the imperial level.” Minisun enlightened him.
After being stunned for a second, he finally understood why everyone called Splendor Monarch the richest man in the world. This might be true in the past and also the present.
“I see, the powerful masters are attacking the palace, that’s why the fortress is still holding up.” He looked around and noticed some desolate gods watching on the sideline.
Li Qiye, on the other hand, didn’t care about the three floating treasuries. He focused on the grand momentum on which the fortress was built - a flat plain surrounded by mountains on all sides.
“Dragged down from above, looks like the old geezer ran for his life and couldn’t bring everything with him.” He closed his eyes and analyzed the land.
“Who are you talking about, Young Noble?” Minisun asked.
Li Qiye only smiled and didn’t answer.
Meanwhile, the siege showed no sign of slowing down.
