-Nexus of Creation, The Tree of Life.
A woman wearing a soft blue veil was meditating silently at the foot of an extremely large and ancient golden tree.
She was humming a beautiful melody from a tribe that had long been lost to the sands of time.
The woman suddenly ceased her meditation and a hypnotizing voice could be heard.
"Such a sneaky child you are Samael."
Contrary to the woman's words, she was not upset, in fact she seemed to be the personification of gentleness.
The woman became slightly alarmed however, when she realized there was a soul in her world whose fate she could no longer see.
While she could still see him, it was a bit like watching a movie and she could no longer see the path upon which his actions would take him.
"This… is new."
She wondered just how far this child would go as well as the imprint he would leave on her world.
She knew he was not a malicious child, but a broken one.
"Should I start paying more attention to him?"

As the battlefield trembled furiously, the humans looked around in bewilderment for any signs of what could be causing this calamity.
Suddenly, the ground behind Exedra split and clawed hands reached out from the earth below.
"What in gods name.."
"Asherah protect us…"
"The hell are those things?.."
The humans watched in horror as demons that they could not even imagine in their nightmares were revealed.
Eight feet tall demons with dark gray skin and pink tattered wings rose up from the ground.
Their sinewy muscles were horribly powerful despite their frail and useless image.
Their faces contained beady black eyes that held an unfathomable hunger, and a mouthful of sharp discolored fangs.
As more and more of these unholy abominations began to pool out from the earth, Malenia began to sweat.
She knew that unlike her and her army, these creatures… they were the real deal.
True creatures of nightmare that were only spoken of in legend.
When the last of the Rabisu crawled from the earth, the wound in the ground immediately closed up leaving Exedra with his army of demons.
Their numbers were a little over 4,000.
The three largest among them approached Exedra and immediately kneeled behind his back.
"We… heed… the… call.. of… Mahlat's…chosen."
The ancient demon's voice was guttural and broken but Exedra could understand him all the same.
Without even looking over his shoulder, Exedra gave his first orders to his new army.
"Leave none alive."
"ROOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRR!!!!"
The excited roars of the demon army rang out throughout the land.
The humans trembled with unbridled fear and some had already dropped their weapons as they awaited their fated death.
The angels were a bit better and began to cast spells like warriors heart en masse in an attempt to boost morale.
Now the humans felt so full of energy, the fear induced by the Rabisu was nearly ineffective.
Malenia summoned her weapon, a bright golden whip and her body began to glow vibrantly.
"I am Malenia, vanguard of the white city."
Exedra thought for a moment and decided that this opponent was indeed worthy of knowing his name, so he returned her gesture in kind.
"I am Abaddon, Demon Lord of Lust."
'Abaddon..' Malenia would engrave this name into the deepest corners of her mind.
"For the golden one!"
"HAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"
At Malenia's command, the army of humans and angels rushed forward with her at the lead.
"Go."
"GRRROOOOOAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"
The demon horde let out defiant roars of excitement before rushing to meet their enemies in battle on the ground and in the air.
The resulting bloodshed was horrifying to say the very least.
Even though the humans were no longer afraid, the defense provided by the armor was not nearly enough and as a result the Rabisu tore into them.
If the carnage caused by Exedra's onslaught was oppressive and decisive, the carnage caused by the Rabisu was feral and ferocious in nature.
Apparently the hunger in their eyes was not just for show as a few of them began to eat the corpses of their kills.
In a last ditch effort, some of the humans took out the vial of saint's tears they had on hand and gulped them down.
Their bodies were immediately flooded with renewed energy and they were finally able to counterattack.
It was then they learned that their weapons did work well on the ancient demons, the swords infused with divine blood slowed their regeneration speed to a crawl.
The battle in the sky against the angels was a little more even.
The warriors of the white city did not panic nearly as much as the humans and as a result they fared slightly better.
Malenia was a force to be reckoned with.
Her golden whip crackled like thunder and felled scores of demons without even putting up much of a fuss.
She suddenly felt a gaze on her back and looked down to see Exedra staring at her unmoving, surrounded by dead angels.
There wasn't a single scratch on his body, but there was blood from enemies who were foolish enough to challenge him.
'His aura… is it stronger than before?'
Malenia wasn't imagining it.
Maliketh's blessing had activated and he was currently on the second level, receiving a 5,000 point stat boost.
'He's growing too fast, I have to end this now!'
She changed trajectory and flew forward like a pulley and swung her weapon in a brilliant golden arc.
"ABADDON!!!"
"That kind of appearance doesn't suit you at all." Exedra remarked about the angel's current intense bloodlust.
'Analyze.'

'What's this?…' Exedra grew intensely curious about the new piece of information he'd just learned from his system.
BOOOOOOMMMMMM
Malenia's whip cleaved through the earth creating a large gash in the ground that was at least twenty yards long.
The angel knew her attack had not connected and her head was on a swivel as she looked around for Exedra's possible whereabouts.
She suddenly heard the crackle of electricity behind her and turned around to see her adversary brimming with red lightening.
'Lightning body…how troublesome.'
The dragon could sense the angels worsening mood but paid it no mind.
"Let's chat a little shall we?"
