Chapter 185: Sneaky Scouts

Initially, Harry had been hesitating whether to use his trump card or not due to the fact that he would probably hit Kiin as well if he did decide to use it.

However, Kiin's resolve dispelled all of his worries. He wouldn't actually be hurt anyway due to the mana barrier.

In addition to this, as friends, they usually piss each other off so having a chance to give Kiin a big one without any repercussions sounded truly appealing.

Thus, after hearing Kiin's words, Harry even felt a bit excited.

If he could take both of the Eusford representatives down along with Kiin, then he would be gloriously standing on the stage alone.

Daydreaming about the pleasant near future, Harry continued casting, the storm clouds becoming thicker and darker as seconds went by.

By this time, the alarm signals in Finn's head were ringing like crazy.

'This bastard...is he planning to strike his teammate down?!' thought Finn. "Lev, let's finish this guy off! We need to get out of here, quick!"

"I know that even if you don't tell me!" retorted Lev.

Gnashing his teeth due to the pressure looming above them, Lev and Finn used their trump cards almost simultaneously.

Azure wings suddenly appeared on Lev's back, temples, and ankles, boosting his physical capabilities.

Once his transformation was done, he immediately charged towards the defenseless Kiin, completely out of skills to use.

"Do it, Harry!"

*BANG*

As Lev's sword touched Kiin's neck, a terrifying lightning bolt struck the spot where Kiin and the other two Eusford representatives converged, sending fragments of destroyed tiles flying everywhere, some even dangerously flying toward the crowd.

Luckily no one except those who should be were hurt.

Harry smiled menacingly.

Would they lose to one of the three kings like everyone else?

Would the grand finals be between two of the three kingly academies once again?

Adding to their frustrations was an irksome voice, resounding from the left side of the main stage.

"Hahahaha! I told you. You lowlives should just stay down in the dumps where you belong. Everyone thinks they're strong until they face us, the true elites." Finn arrogantly said as he descended from the stage while laughing.

Hearing the words of their adversary, the Colzen representatives couldn't help but glare furiously at Finn.

Harry and Kiin felt so frustrated that their fingernails started digging into their skin due to how tight they were clenching their fists.

They knew that lingering on their defeat like this was not beneficial though so Shye and the other Colzen representatives took a deep breath to calm their raging emotions down and prepare for the next match.

They haven't lost yet and they still have a chance to return the favor.

Unfortunately, they were the ones who had to send a representative out first so they really couldn't choose.

Due to this, the best bet would've been Shye.

However, the dilemma is, that if Shye went out right now, then their last match, the survival match, might be at risk.

Thus, after a quick discussion, Ian jumped up onto the stage.

As one of the three best duelists on the Colzen roster and probably an unfitting representative for the survival match, Ian was the next best choice.

He also hasn't lost even once so he was the perfect choice for the one-on-one match.

"Oh? A scout this time huh? I'll make sure to take my time putting you in your place. Imagining you unable to hold your head high after this match is truly delightful."

A familiar annoying voice sounded from the staircase as a seductive young woman ascended the stage with a playful expression on her face.

'Heh, I knew it was gonna be you.' thought Ian as he drew his flaming dagger out of its customized sheathe, embers lingering in the air for a few moments with every wave.

'I'll make you cry.'
