Chapter 195: The Grand Finals

In the past, the most talented graduates were immediately ordered to report to the main headquarters in Valenzia City, sadly, most of them simply perished in the first two months.

Even veteran adventurers die almost daily in the adventurer zones near Valenzia City so one could only imagine how recently graduated adventurers would fare.

The absurdly high death rate of rookie adventurers led to the current protocol of the most prominent guilds.

Thus, for the past century, all rookie adventurers were ordered to report to the branch guilds in different cities first, then, once they were ready for Valenzia, they were given recommendation letters which were equivalent to promotions.

As for the guild masters surrounding Blas, they were the guild masters of the main branches of their guilds.

"Oh? They're out!" One of the guild masters looking out the window said in a loud voice, successfully capturing the attention of the other guild masters.

Under the eyes of fifty guild masters, the Colzen representatives strode out of their academy stations and walked towards the main stage, fully prepared to fight the hardest battle of their lives.

Although they were confident in putting up a fight, they weren't sure if they could win, however, they wouldn't like it any other way.

They longed for intense battles like this.

Knowing that this would be the last time they would fight both as a team and as friends, the Colzen Avengers wanted to make the most of this experience.

Once they graduate, this illustrious event would turn into a memory and there wouldn't be anything quite like it in the world of professional adventurers.

Placing the experience of enjoying the tournament in front of his desire for revenge, Shye felt more lighthearted than ever.

"Here they come!! Introducing first, the challengers, hailing from the southern region of Valenzia, this academy was once known as the epitome of mediocrity. After a disastrous exit last year, they are back–ablaze with determination."

"Starting from the first day, they fought more battles than anyone else and naturally, defeated more academies than anyone else. Their path to the top was nothing short of hellish, encountering tough academies one after the other."

"However, none of those academies managed to topple their blazing resolve to escape their fate, even Eusford, one of the three kings, couldn't stop their violent rebellion."

"Please welcome, Colzen Academy!!"

*BEEP*

A few seconds after the familiar beeping sound, all five types of matchups were listed.

Two-on-Two

Hunt (B) Ranked: Forest Troll Berserker (7)

One-on-One

Survival: (A) Ranked: Ember Wyvern (7)

Three-on-Three

Seeing the results on the huge holographic screen, Shye frowned.

'Tch, I'm not sure if the Three-on-Three as the fifth match type is a blessing or a disaster but...it is what it is. We just have to deal with it. Hopefully, we could end the match before it comes down to the fifth...'

He thought as he glanced at his teammates who were also deep in thought.

Aslan's performance in the three-on-three against Freia was just too terrifying and until now, they haven't found a solution to the time cube skill of the Aslan priest representative.

Thus, they could only try and end the match before it got to their dreaded match type.

As for the first match, the two-on-two, it was Aslan Academy who had to send out their representatives first.

In a best-of-five final, getting the first win is very important to boost your team's morale, thus, Colzen had to choose the most appropriate representatives depending on who Aslan Academy sends out.

In addition to this, as per the rules of the championship match, Although each representative's participation will not be limited in the survival and hunt-type matches, they can only participate once in either the one-on-one, the two-on-two, or the three-on-three.

Thus, in a best-of-five, one representative can participate a maximum of three times. see-more-NovelFire

Aware of this, Aslan ultimately dispatched their selected representatives, causing the Colzen representatives to narrow their eyes in contemplation, each considering whom to send out.
