Chapter 196: Grand Finals: Colzen vs. Aslan

'Warrior representative, Breion Sunflare, and mage representative, Asha Ylyndar...' Shye mused. "If that's the case, then we needn't deviate from our standard two-on-two tactic...'

The other Colzen representatives weren't dumb either, they knew that there was no need to change tactics.

It wasn't like they lost trust in Kiin and Harry after their defeat.

The only thing they were waiting for was Shye's approval and seeing him nodding at them, Kiin and Harry were ecstatic.

They wanted to avenge their loss.

Although defeating the Aslan representatives would be an even taller task compared to defeating the Eusford representatives, Kiin and Harry weren't intimidated in the slightest.

In fact, they felt even more pumped to avenge their loss.

Walking up the stage, the Colzen duo were met with a smile of disdain from Asha, a young attractive woman wearing the renowned charcoal black Aslan uniform along with a golden capelet.

She had a slender body, a gorgeous face, a fairly average chest, and an unexpectedly huge backside for someone her size.

On the other hand, there wasn't a single ounce of arrogance coming from Breion, the warrior representative with jade short curly hair, the usual well-built warrior body, and average facial features.

The guy even slightly bowed at them before the referee announced the start of the match.

Caught off guard by Breion's polite gesture, Kiin and Harry didn't know what to do, ultimately deciding not to reciprocate the guy's gestures.

Drawing their weapons, the familiar gale and rumble caused a slight disturbance onstage as Kiin and Harry assumed their battle stances.

Seeing that their opponents were ready, Asha sneered in disdain before pulling out her mid-grade relic which was a water elemental staff while Breion pulled out a shortsword and a tower shield, causing the ground to slightly shake due to its weight.

The referee looked at both sides and upon determining that the representatives were ready for combat, he didn't make the eager crowd wait any longer.

"Begin!"

"SHUT UP! I know what to do!" Asha retorted–utterly annoyed. Unwilling to take orders from anyone except Damien.

Still, she knew that their opponents were already aware of her skills and it would be difficult for her to take them out without Breion's help, thus, she complied and blasted away with her low-cooldown skills.

Various explosions of different elements caused chaos on the main stage as Asha's skills landed squarely on Golteb's earthen physique, sending the golem staggering backward–its rocky limbs threatening to collapse.

Naturally, Kiin and Harry wouldn't allow Golteb to be destroyed without them achieving anything in return.

Thus, they fired away with projectiles of their own.

Their target? Breion.

'You want to take our tank out? Then let's have a fair trade.' Harry thought, waving his staff around as low-cooldown projectiles shot out continuously.

Breion was quite slow and his agility attribute wasn't enough to dodge the spells and arrows thrown his way, hence, he tanked all of the Colzen duo's attacks using his trusty tower shield.

Inevitably, a few arrows and spells sneaked past his battered shield, piercing, burning, and exploding right in front of him.

Staggering backward, Breion received another punch from Golteb, making him slide further back as blood streamed down the corners of his mouth.

Similar sequences continued for a few more minutes before a shocking thing happened.

The sounds of rocks and pebbles falling on the ground resounded from the main stage as the crowd's eyes and mouths opened wide, utterly dumbfounded after seeing the rock golem collapse.

"U-U-UNBELIEVABLE!! BREION SUNFLARE OUTLASTS A ROCK GOLEM!! WHAT BEASTLY RESILIENCE!!"

'How the hell is this guy still standing?! He must've eaten around fifteen projectiles both from Kiin and me!' Harry gnashed his teeth and inwardly complained, still having trouble accepting that his rock golem collapsed first.

Meanwhile, Breion, although battered and bruised, stood proud in the middle of the main stage, basking in the glorious cheers of the Aslan crowd as he once again assumed his battle stance.

Advancing steadily with his robust tower shield in front, he gradually cornered the Colzen duo. Despite their relentless attacks in an attempt to bring down the resilient warrior, he pressed on undeterred.
