Flying Dust [Fei Chen]
Chapter 46.2
Mo Fei Chen pushed him with his hand, leaving his five fingerprints on his spotlessly white clothes and at that very moment, Mo Fei Chen felt a sense of pleasure in his heart. However, Jun Wushuang’s smile soon took away that happy feeling.
“It looks quite nice how it prints on the collar.” He picked up his own collar, “White color is like this, it looks good with any colour.”
Drawing squares formed by crossed lines on the table with a brush, Mo Fei Chen wondered if He Yunfeng was now playing gobang with himself.
No, that’s not right, he should be looking for me all over the land; from different places…aimlessly
“What are you doing?” Jun Wushuang held his head in one hand and looked sideways at Mo Fei Chen.
The best method was to ignore him completely. Besides that, playing gobang could only help him forget the fact that he was locked up here for a while.
Draw a circle and then a cross, alternating between them, then Jun Wushuang seemed to understand the rules of Mo Fei Chen’s game as he watched.
“It’s so boring to play by yourself, why don’t I accompany you to play?” Jun Wushuang was just about to take a brush, but Mo Fei Chen suddenly poured water from the teapot and wiped it off with his hand, all of it was messily damaged.
Jun Wushuang’s hand froze in place.
Mo Fei Chen wiped the ink from his hand directly on his trousers, sat down on the edge of the bed, pulled back the quilt and went to sleep.
That was his own game with He Yunfeng, he would not play five-in-a-row chess (gobang) with anyone else.
The fire of the oil lamp wavered as Jun Wushuang sat in front of the table.
An hour or so later, he seemed to remember something and put out the lamp.
Mo Fei Chen swallowed his saliva and felt that he came to his bedside again, pushing Mo Fei Chen inside.
In such a small bed, do you have to come up here to squeeze in?
Jun Wushuang only got a small space, so he couldn’t lie down, so he still chose to sit on the edge of the bed.
At first, Mo Fei Chen was so depressed that it took him a long time to fall asleep. He did not sleep well and woke up at dawn. He didn’t know since when Jun Wushuang was lying beside him.
“Are you awake? I’ll bring you some breakfast.” Jun Wushuang got up and put on his clothes and went to the door, “Didn’t you catch a lot of birds the day before yesterday and put them outside the house? Where did they go?”
“I already let them go. I myself was locked up here so even if I locked them up, I couldn’t get out.”
“Indeed, even if you locked them up, you couldn’t get out.”
After Jun Wushuang left, Mo Fei Chen came to the window and watched through a small crack as Jun Wushuang walked into the forest. He knew that the secret tunnel to the outside must be in the forest, and he had searched for it when Jun Wushuang was away, but he ended up finding nothing at all.
Without his Qing Gong, if he followed behind Jun Wushuang now then Jun Wushuang definitely would have found out about this.
Back in the underground palace, Leng Yufang was waiting for Jun Wushuang.
“How did it go?”
“As what Sect Master expected before, He Yunfeng didn’t join Wen Qian Liu, but he has gone to Xi Yu on his own, but I don’t know if he can find Bai Xue Cult.”
“Don’t underestimate him, we and those Wu Lin righteous sects have never really fought with Bai Xue Cult, but Bai Xue Cult was an old enemy of He Yunfeng and Luo Lianyun.” Jun Wushuang squinted and looked at the food box in Leng Yufang’s hand, “Are you going to send the food to Wen Xin?”
“Yes.”
“Put it down, I’ll do it.”
“Huh?” Leng Yufang raised her head in surprise, “Yes.”
Jun Wushuang carried the food box to the underground palace where Wen Xin was, and slowly sat down beside him, opening the box and bringing out 一一 the meals inside.
Wen Xin could not eat by himself, but would only open his mouth and chew it if someone touched his lips with a spoon.
Jun Wushuang fed him as he talked to him at the same time.
“He has many tricks up his sleeve, such as using a branch to support a dustpan where the grain is on top of it and attaching a string to the branch, when those greedy birds fly in to eat the grain, he will pull the string then the birds will be captured, in’t that interesting?”
Wen Xin chewed, as if whatever the delicacy was, it tasted the same in his mouth.
“After he caught those birds, he tied them to the outside of the house, tore the cloth and wrote with a brush ‘Mo Fei Chen is in Jing Shui Sect’ before then he let those birds all go.”
Jun Wushuang scooped up a spoonful of minced meat and touched Wen Xin’s mouth before sending it in.
“He just didn’t think that that valley was the home of those birds and they wouldn’t fly too far.” Jun Wushuang smiled and laughed at himself as he took out a handful of cloth strips from his pocket and waved them in front of Wen Xin’s eyes, “Look, there are so many…every time he releases those birds; when they fly back into the forest, I catch them and remove these cloth strips so that he can continue to catch them next time.”
Soon half the bowl of rice was fed and the plate of meal was almost empty.
Jun Wushuang looked at Wen Xin, suddenly slowly leaned his head over and rested his forehead on the other party’s shoulder.
