Chapter 288 - Do You Still Have Feelings For Her?

Name:Help...My Wife is a Spy Author:Yunyi
Probably due to the s.e.x.u.a.l tension that was reaching its limit in the pool, Jackson did not mess around. As soon as he and his wife entered their hotel suite, he pulled her straight into his embrace, pressed her against the wall, and made love to her right there.

After their previous conversation back in Guiyang City, Jackson did not bring any protection on this trip. Halia wanted three kids - and he wanted more - so he was going to do all he could to increase their chances.

"I love you," Jackson whispered beside Halia's ear as the woman m.o.a.ned in pleasure.

Halia gripped onto her husband tighter and replied, "I love you too."

As the room warmed up and the air grew steamy, Jackson gave one last thrust and kissed his wife passionately to finish their intense activity.

He then carried her to the bed and lay her down gently. Halia flopped down on the bed like jelly and sighed with satisfaction as Jackson lay down beside her. It was only 3pm in the afternoon, but the two of them were already in bed. This was the feeling of being on vacation; having no worries and not being restrained by time.

Jackson wrapped his arm around his wife and placed her head on his chest so she could use it as a pillow. Tomorrow, Sean and Natalie were arriving and he expected that they would be spending the entire day out, exploring the island. So, he had to cherish this time alone as much as possible.

With a seductive look in his eyes, he glanced at his wife and asked, "One more time?"

Without hesitation, Halia climbed on top of his body with a cheeky smile, "Sure, but I'm in charge this time..."

...

Over in Hong Kong, another couple was just realizing their feelings for each other.

Emerson looked into Avaleigh's eyes and Avaleigh looked back at him.

Just a moment ago, he had told her that he was single, but the woman simply fell silent after she heard his response.

Why did she ask him that question and what was the meaning of this silence?

Avaleigh twirled her thumbs awkwardly. She was done, she had asked the question that she was told to ask, it was time to join the girls for breakfast. But, she suddenly had the urge to ask a bit more.

"When was your last girlfriend? Why are you single?" she asked.

Emerson glanced down shyly, "I'm embarrassed to say this, but...I've never had a girlfriend..."

Avaleigh's eyes opened wide in disbelief, "Liar!"

"I'm serious..." Emerson said with sincerity. "I had a crush on the same woman for over a decade, but..."

Avaleigh saw the man hesitate a little. "But what?" she asked curiously. She wasn't normally this nosy, but she couldn't contain her curiosity towards this man.

Emerson rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly and replied with self-ridicule, "My crush ended up marrying my brother..."

"Your brother?!" Avaleigh exclaimed. "Then...do you still have feelings for her...?"

For some reason, the thought of Emerson loving the same woman for over a decade was both sweet and bitter. She admired the man for being so devoted and serious, but her heart couldn't help but hurt a little.

Emerson looked into the woman's eyes again and noticed her expression had changed. He wasn't sure if he was imagining things, but...he sensed jealousy in her gaze...

He had seen this gaze in Marissa's eyes before. But, unlike Marissa, Avaleigh's gaze made his heart flutter a little.

Trying to hold back his smile, he opened his mouth to reply to the woman's question. But, just as his lips separated, a voice called from the exit, "What are you two still doing here? Come and have breakfast before it goes cold!"

It was Sue.

She had noticed that Avaleigh wasn't with the rest of the girls, so she came back to look for her.

Avaleigh glared at Sue with frustration. If she had arrived 5 minutes later, then she would have heard Emerson's answer. But, this interruption came at the worst time.

Avaleigh looked back at Emerson, hoping he would still answer her, but to her disappointment, he nudged her towards the door, "Eat first. We'll talk later."

He had almost forgotten the entire reason why he was there this early in the morning. He came to check on the group, but deep down, he was there to make sure Avaleigh had breakfast.

...

The sun shone in through the steamy hotel room and fell on Jackson's perfectly sculpted face. Halia ran her eyes across her husband and felt herself falling more and more in love with him. Why was he so handsome?

Probably due to the fatigue from traveling or the exhaustion from two rounds of intense activity, Jackson had fallen asleep beside her and he looked peaceful like a newborn baby that had not a care in the world.

Halia didn't want to worry her husband and ruin his peaceful mood, so she carefully climbed out of bed and tucked the man in. She then walked out to the balcony and made a phone call; there was something that still bothered her and she couldn't ignore it.

The phone soon connected and a familiar woman's voice asked over the phone, "Hello? Halia? Why are you suddenly calling me?"

"Trisha, I have something important to discuss with you...Have you heard of the name Joel Gabriel Santos?" Halia asked.

Trisha raised an eyebrow, "No, why?"

"He is a minister that works in the Filipino Department of Tourism. I think he is involved with Trojan and The Organization," Halia replied.

Trisha remembered her trip to Europe with Halia and the way she seemed to pull information out of nowhere but was always right. So, without questioning the wife of her former captain, she asked, "What do you know?"

Trisha had now fully stepped into Jackson's former role as Captain of Interpol in the Hong Kong and Macau region so Halia couldn't think of anyone better to contact than her. So, she began to explain her suspicions, "Look it up. I bet Trojan visited Boracay a few years back and he met with Joel Gabriel Santos. If my suspicions are correct, I believe they invested in some business together."
