Chapter 303 - What's For Dinner Tonight?

Name:Help...My Wife is a Spy Author:Yunyi
Trisha opened the door and found two suitcases sitting outside, still with luggage tags attached to them. Some big bold letters stood out on the tags: LHR and HKG. Trisha recognized the airport codes: these two suitcases belonged to someone that had arrived from London.

Trisha turned and looked at Oliver as he stepped in front of her, grabbed the suitcases and started rolling them into the apartment.

"Are these yours?" she asked in surprise. What were they doing here?

Oliver smiled proudly and nodded his head, "Since I'm staying here, of course, I need my things."

There was no end to this man's shamelessness.

"My father approves of us and my mother isn't against us being together," he said. He then wrapped an arm around Trisha's waist and stared lovingly into her eyes. "You have no reason to run away from me anymore."

Trisha thought about the phone call with Oliver's mother and suddenly felt her heart light up. Was she dreaming? Were they really allowed to be together? But, just as she was thinking this, she suddenly noticed something else on the luggage tags. A date!

Trisha pouted her lips and pushed the man away, "You're so sneaky! Where did your luggage come from? You obviously have a place to stay! Look at your luggage tags, you landed yesterday, you liar!!!"

Oliver chuckled and pulled the feisty woman against his body.

"I was staying with my classmate last night. 'Her' place is even smaller than yours. I had to share 'her' bedroom last night. If you want, I can go back to stay with 'her'," Oliver replied.

Her? Trisha furrowed her brows at the thought of Oliver sharing a bedroom with another woman. Who was this woman? Did she have any ulterior motives?

Finally, she closed the door and said, "You're paying half the bills..."

She then headed into the bathroom to have a shower.

Outside, in the corridor, a young man watched the two argue and chuckled. "Her? When did I turn into a woman?" he asked as he shook his head at his friend's cheekiness. He then turned around and left.

Just as he stepped into the elevator, he received a message on his phone, "Thanks for bringing me my luggage. I owe you one."

He then checked his watch and smiled. "The concert should be finished soon," he whispered to himself as he grabbed the camera around his neck excitedly.

...

After being caught earlier, Mimi did not attempt any other tricks. The entire group knew she had always held a grudge against Avaleigh, but they didn't expect her to actually do something so despicable. So, now that they had witnessed her methods, their image of her completely changed and they no longer looked at her in the same way.

With all eyes on her, she couldn't even get within 3 meters of Avaleigh, let alone harm her again.

The rest of the concert ended up running smoothly with no issues. Even though Avaleigh was not in the best state and some of her movements were lacking in power and energy, she still pushed herself to perform the best she could and barely anyone noticed a thing. After all, the atmosphere was lively, the stage was vibrant, and she wasn't the only one performing. Only those that focused on just her for the entire night noticed the slight abnormalities.

After the concert ended, Sue quickly rushed over to Avaleigh to check if she was OK. "Sorry for almost blaming you for something you didn't do. I will make sure to keep an eye on Mimi from now on. Are you feeling better?" Sue asked.

Avaleigh glared at Mimi and nodded her head. "I just want to go back to the hotel to get some rest."

Sue immediately clapped her hands to gather the group's attention and said, "Hurry and grab your things. We are heading back to the hotel right away. Ava needs to recover for tomorrow's concert!"

The other girls quickly grabbed their things. A few of them even helped Avaleigh grab her things. "I've got your handbag, Ava!" Chu called out. "I've got your coat," Ray chimed in.

Mimi looked at the girls and scoffed. As she walked past Avaleigh's dressing table, she scratched her nail across the name tag stuck to the back of Avaleigh's chair, leaving a huge gash across her name. It was the only thing she could do at that moment to ease the anger she felt inside.

As the girls left the building, fans were gathered outside, waiting to see them up-close and hoping to get some autographs.

"Ava, can you sign my shirt?"

"Chu, we love you!"

"Ray, can we get a photo with you?"

"Ava, marry me!"

Each member was immediately called out by their own respective fans as the security guards tried their best to maintain order. Of course, Mimi had some fans too, but her numbers were nothing compared to Avaleigh.

Soon, the girls boarded their van and headed back to the hotel.

"When we get back, I have arranged for dinner to be brought to you as usual. Eat it and get some rest. You will have some free time tomorrow to do what you want. Whether it be catching up on sleep, doing some training, or even exploring the town. Whatever you choose to do, remember to notify me, and make sure you arrive back at the exhibition center at 7pm to prepare for the concert. If you decide to leave the hotel, make sure to disguise yourself well. We don't want any scandals..." Sue instructed.

The girls nodded obediently and returned to their rooms as soon as the van arrived back at the hotel.

Avaleigh was completely exhausted. She had performed an entire concert on a practically empty stomach and was feeling a little light-headed. After changing into some comfortable clothes, she heard a knock on her door. "Room service!" a voice called.

Avaleigh's stomach naturally reacted with a grumble. Dinner had arrived. She didn't care what Sue had prepared for her at that moment. All she knew was, she was so hungry, she could eat anything. So, the moment the door opened, she quickly hurried the hotel staff inside. "What's for dinner tonight?" she asked excitedly.

The staff pushed a trolley into the room and closed the door behind him. Sitting on top of the trolley was a plate covered by a lid. Avaleigh was so focused on what was under the lid, she didn't even notice that the staff member was acting a little strange. He had a hat on his head and he was looking down like he was trying to conceal his face. When he heard Avaleigh's question, he smirked and slowly lifted the lid off the plate. As soon as Avaleigh saw what was hidden underneath, she gasped.

"What's that?" she shrieked in shock.
