95 Argument

“Who told you to lie here!” Shen Yin turned around and glared at him. She accidentally twisted the wound on her neck and turned back in pain.

Lian Jing covered himself with the blanket and lied matter-of-factly. “The doctor said that a family member has to accompany you.”

“Who asked you to accompany me in bed?” Shen Yin tried to elbow him away, but Lian Jing stopped her.

He grabbed her arm and pulled her into his arms from behind.

“Lian Jing! Get out!” Shen Yin was so embarrassed that her face turned red, and her heart was pounding. He was so close to her that she was worried that he would notice her embarrassment. Shen Yin ignored the pain in her hands and struggled to push him out.

“There’s only one bed in this room. Do you want me to stand here for the entire night?” Lian Jing frowned and impatiently hugged her tightly. He was afraid of touching her hand, so he placed his arm slightly further down, against her abdomen.

“Scoundrel.” Shen Yin could not resist, so she could only vent her anger verbally.

However, Lian Jing smiled nonchalantly from behind and hugged the quiet body in his arms.

Neither of them spoke for a moment. Just as Lian Jing thought that Shen Yin had fallen asleep, the woman beside him suddenly asked coldly, “How did you find me?”

Lian Jing’s heart skipped a beat, but he appeared unmoved and diverted her attention to Wu Zheng and the rest. “Those police officers aren’t completely useless.”

“That place was an abandoned factory. I didn’t see any surveillance cameras on the way to the hospital.” Shen Yin’s voice was grim and her tone was firm. She did not intend to let Lian Jing dodge this question.

Lian Jing did not say anything, but Shen Yin laughed sarcastically. “Aren’t you going to tell me that the dog traced my scent all the way there?”

She moved her body and the grip on her waist immediately loosened.

Shen Yin slowly turned around and faced Lian Jing. Her eyes were exceptionally bright in the darkness. “You installed a tracker on me.”

Her tone was self-assured and showed no hesitation.

Lian Jing knew that the truth was out, but he did not intend to apologize to her.

If he had not taken such precautions, Shen Yin’s corpse would have been cold by the time the police had found her.

However, Shen Yin did not think so. Although she was grateful to Lian Jing for saving her life, he had secretly installed a tracker on her without her permission so that he could monitor her at any time. This was an invasion of her privacy.

She had actually been deceived by his gentle facade and thought that he would be a man who would respect her, even though he was a little domineering.

The more Shen Yin thought about it, the angrier she got. When he did not say anything, she knew that she was right.

She snorted coldly. Ignoring the pain in her wrist, she took off the ring and threw it aside. “You’re not allowed to do things like that in the future. You’re worried that you won’t be able to find your son if I take Nian Nian away, right? Let me tell you, if I, Shen Yin, want to run away, I’ll disappear completely, just like I did six years ago.”

How dare you!” Lian Jing’s breathing became much heavier, as if he was angry. His chest heaved violently, and he glared at Shen Yin aggressively. He wished he could tear this heartless woman into pieces.

The ring fell to the ground with a clink. Then it rolled into the shadows under the window and disappeared.

Shen Yin could see that he was angry, but she did not intend to back down. If she did not make things clear now, he would go overboard in the future.

She looked straight into Lian Jing’s eyes and said coldly, “Lian Jing, I’m an independent woman. I can earn enough to support Nian Nian. I don’t need to rely on anyone. Of course, I’m very grateful that you saved me today, but please don’t do anything so disrespectful in the future. What right do you have to install a tracker on me and monitor me?”

“What? How dare you ask me what right I have? Because you’re the mother of my child!” Lian Jing growled and avoided Shen Yin’s injured wrist. He grabbed her arm and leaned on her.

Shen Yin was also angry. Seeing that he was still so domineering, she sneered and said mockingly, “Nian Nian was just an accident. Lian Jing, don’t think you can use the child to trap me into staying with you?”

“Where would you go if you don’t stay with me?” Lian Jing glared at her. When her lips opened again, he lowered his head and covered her mouth.

Instinct told him that he would not want to hear what this woman said next.
