Chapter 282: Spending the Night

“Hm, you sound right about that. Here here!”

Rihannan’s face became flushed red immediately. With her blush reaching all the way to the ends of her ears, she tried to pull away her hand but Igor wouldn’t let it go.

Igor simply ignored all those nosy people in the inn and walked forward together while holding onto Rihannan’s hand. A man who seemed to be the owner of the place walked up to him and started a conversation.

“Are you planning to stay the night?”

“We are going to only stay for tonight. Do you have a room available?”

“Ah, of course. We actually just made available a nice new room on the top floor, so you could both stay there if ya want. It’s a bit pricy though, ya okay with that?”

Igor nodded without even hearing out what the price was. While the innkeeper’s eyes flashed brightly with glee, Igor asked him a question after looking around the inn for a bit.

“Are you talking about the 3rd floor when you say top floor?”

“Yes, that’s right. Ya won’t need to worry about the cold. We even installed the latest in heating so it will be very warm.”

“How many rooms are on that floor?”

“There are five of them, but why?”

“I will pay for the price of all five rooms on the 3rd floor, so empty out all those rooms and make sure no one can come up to that floor.”

Igor pulled out a satchel filled with money from his pocket and handed it to him. Even with a glance, it was easy to see that the weight was pretty heavy. As soon as the money was placed in his hand, the innkeeper immediately yelled out loudly.

“Nick! Go and move everyone’s luggage from the 3rd floor down to the 2nd floor, now!”

Hearing the order, one of the employees of the inn immediately dashed up to the 3rd floor. Although there was some tussle with the people who were already staying in those rooms, they immediately became quiet after being given some money.

Witnessing this cascading chain of events, Rihannan whispered into his ear.

“Why are you buying out the entire floor? It would be fine if we just had one room.”

“Originally I would have kicked out every single person in this establishment, but it seemed a bit cruel to put them all out in the cold, which was why I stopped at just the 3rd floor.”

Rihannan kept her mouth shut, thinking that if she really insisted it, Igor would actually kick out everyone from the building for real. After the 3rd floor was completely organized, the innkeeper escorted Rihannan and Igor personally to the 3rd floor.

“Please follow me. It’s this way.”

After climbing up the steep staircase with creaking sounds under their foot, they arrived at a hallway. The room at the very end of the hallway was the room where they were going to stay for the night.

Inside the tidy room were a bed, small table, and chair, closet to put in clothes, and other simple furniture. Directly opposite of the door was a large window that was covered with curtains, and there was a room adjacent that seemed to be the bathroom.

“Although it’s not quite clear since it is nighttime, the scenery that can be viewed from here in the morning is absolutely divine. You could see the whole sea through the window. How would you like your meal for tonight?”

“Please bring it up here. As soon as possible as well.”

As Igor placed additional money onto the innkeeper’s hand, the innkeeper nodded vigorously.

“Yes! We’ll bring it to you immediately!”
