Chapter 508 Underground Railway Network "They are from the Arena Realm." A Martial Providence Stage powerhouse identified the incoming army, stating calmly. Even he was surprised by how calm he was, only feeling a sense of freedom at the sight.
He had an innate battle-oriented personality, having been in fights for as long as he remembered. But for the past fifteen years, he hadn't been in a single fight. And hence, he had been itching to fight all along.
They were cultivators and not immortals. So, every one of them had a certain level of inclination to fight. And all of them had been busy improving their strength for the past fifteen years. So, they were all raring to go.
'Especially since I got this.' He thought, sensing the Blood Vitality Grass growing in his stomach. It had long since attained maturity, turning his body tremendously powerful.
He was Yaotorr, commanded of the Tura City Fort, an Earth Martial Spirit cultivator with the power of the wind.
He squinted, sensing the strong aura originating from the army that had appeared ten kilometres away, grinning, "Great! There are a lot of strong opponents."
He then looked at his aide, stating calmly, "Request for reinforcement. I'm sensing more than three thousand Martial Providence Stage powerhouses and counting. More and more of them are coming in."
"So…many powerhouses?" The aide shuddered in fear before a sudden sense of excitement brimmed forth from him, especially when he thought of the high-quality blood of the powerhouses that he could use to water his Blood Vitality Grass and strengthen his body further.
He saluted immediately, "I'll seek reinforcements."
A message was sent as soon after, the cries of a bird resounded as massive creatures were spotted in the air.
"What the heck is that?" Dwun gazed in surprise, observing tens of thousands of massive eagle-like birds flying in the air, each emanating a powerful presence.
At first, Dwun assumed them to be the Martial Providence Stage experts of the Gaider Realm, thinking that Compass Carburettor had done something to raise so many powerhouses.
But soon after, he was shocked to see that they were all Origin Beasts. And, carried on their backs were cultivators, experts and powerhouses alike.
And, the moment they arrived at the air space of the Tura City, the entire army unleashed a bloodthirsty aura, for a moment causing the army behind Dwun to pause in shock, for they had never expected such a level of power from the Gaider Realm.
Though of course, a second later, Dwun's side erupted with an even greater bloodlust. After all, they had all lived in the Arena, cultivating their way up through nonstop slaughter of experts and powerhouses originating from various Realms.
"Just as he said, they are indeed trying to invade from Tura City." The Green Centipede Clan Leader smirked in pride, stating as he gazed at the number of enemies continuing to increase. "This is enough proof that everything Hazen said is the truth. The enemies have verified it."
He then raised his hand, bringing it down, "We don't need to defend against any other locations. Concentrate all forces here."
Boom!
The moment his command resounded forth, the buildings in Tura City rumbled as slowly, tunnel entrances opened on the ground, each located in nodes along the streets.
And exiting the tunnels like ants were cultivators, donned to the teeth in armour. One by one, the tunnels opened as armies began to march into Tura City from all over the Gaider Realm.
And, it wasn't as if they were marching on foot.
Nope!
As someone from Earth, when he chose to go all-out, Compass Carburettor truly went all out.
He created an underground tunnel system that connected all major cities with wide lines. And, these major cities were connected by smaller tunnels to the nearby towns.
What was happening in these tunnels, you ask?
It was a railway network.
Of course, as the laws of the Cultivation World were different, a train from Earth wouldn't function in the Gaider Realm.
And the alternative for that was Origin Beasts. Among humans of the Gaider Realm, only three percent were cultivators. Thanks to the Academy and Compass Carburettor's urging, this percentage was raised to five. That's it.
But, every single Origin Beast had a cultivation. Basically, adding onto his Origin Art of Sleeper Cell, these Origin Beasts were practically a great labour force.
And, he went a step beyond, using the countless Carburettor Islands to process the data regarding every single Origin Beast available on the Gaider Realm. A dozen Apocalypse World Compass Carburettors had been sent out to scout through the entire Realm just to tally the characteristics of every species.
And after that, the Carburettor Islands worked in processing the data, matching the Origin Beast races to the various Clans and Sects.
After that, Compass Carburettor allotted an Origin Beast race to each Clan or Sect based on their characteristics. And thanks to the Sleeper Cells, they were docile to the respective Clan or Sect.
He only had to do this for the first generation. And as with the example of Blight Rabbits, the successive generations were taken care of by the first generation and repeated until it became a characteristic of their species.
In this vein, the Green Centipede Clan obtained the Green Centipede Origin Beast race, something their ancestor gained inspiration from. As the Clansmen typically awakened to centipede type Martial Spirits in terms of Human Martial Spirits and poison type Martial Spirits in terms of Earth Martial Spirits, the Green Centipede race was beneficial to them.
By rearing them in large numbers, the Clan obtained a plethora of poisons that they were perfectly capable of wielding. Atop that were fusion materials the Green Centipedes created in their living habitat, making the Clansmen develop in their most optimal direction.
The Green Centipedes were also used as mounts. After all, certain female versions had wings to fly with.
Similarly, every single Clan obtained an exclusive Origin Beast Race that amplified their strength grandly.
And this was where Compass Carburettor truly exhibited his peak power, one that shocked every power in the Gaider Realm and also caused them to wholeheartedly submit to his decision-making.
