Chapter 509 Prelude to the Inter-Realm War Reality Marble!
It started with him experimenting with the ins and outs of Reality Marble. To be brutally frank, Compass Carburettor hadn't used this ability much. He had only possessed it for a short duration. And at that time, he didn't have enough Mental Energy to splurge on experiments.
Moreover, he was solely thinking in terms of using it to fight the System Hosts. So, he hadn't given any other thoughts about that.
But, once Rhizen obtained the power of the Restriction Order, Compass Carburettor worked with him, experimenting by lifting part of the restriction on him.
And one of those was the breakthrough regarding Reality Marble.
When obtaining the Personal Fragment of Dimensional Space, Compass Carburettor obtained four Traits: Darlac, Apocalypse Pearl, Mental Energy, and Permanence.
And among them, he truly hadn't used the Traits beyond the scope of battles or battle-oriented means. And the least used among them was the Trait of Permanence, even though the Core Skill of Permanence was from a Level 99 System, the strongest Core Skill he obtained to date.
He had only used Permanence to create solid structures, even though this Trait had a lot of functions beyond that, as what he had figured out long ago in the Apocalypse World.
And with that, he began to apply the Trait of Permanence in the Reality Marble that he was creating, succeeding in the endeavour.
There were some trial and error involved, but eventually, he figured out a valid means to abuse the heck out of them.
And with that, he created a Reality Marble in the base of every Clan or Sect, meant exclusive for the rearing of their Origin Beasts.
That wasn't all. He also created a second Reality Marble in the Blazing Sun Clan. But this Reality Marble was meant for a common Origin Beast Race.
Blind Beetle!
Blind Beetles spanned a height of one metre and a length of two to three metres at the Martial Origin Stage. They relied upon scent to travel, making them the best choice to employ in the underground Railway Network.
Trains similar to Earth were created to house people. As for the engine compartment, it was modified for the Blind Beetles to be harnessed within.
There would be a coachman to control them, doing so through a set of instructions which had been implanted in their minds, and turned into an instinct for their entire race.
Blind Beetles had high stamina, were capable of running up to a thousand kilometres in one stretch, had low maintenance costs, and could unleash a lot of power, perfect for pulling the train at high speeds.
The second Reality Marble in the Blazing Sun Clan was to rear and train the Blind Beetles. And the train station here acted as the biggest junction in the Gaider Realm, having rails connecting to all corners of the Realm.
There were other major stations located throughout the Realm based on their geographical locations. Smaller Reality Marbles were created here to house and train Blind Beetles too.
This way, the trains would be able to run nonstop.
There were also exclusive lines connecting the strongest of Clans and Sects. These were operated by Blind Beetles at the Martial Providence Stage, allowing the major powers to react to anything at the fastest speed.
Moreover, all the Blind Beetles had been implanted with a Blood Vitality Grass to strengthen their bodies further, allowing the speed of the railway to spike to greater heights. Over years, the network would become more and more efficient, allowing the Gaider Realm to improve as a whole due to the vastly efficient mode of transportation.
This didn't just transport people, but also goods, causing the economy of the place to improve a lot.
Compass Carburettor had also established a navy and airway, assigning selective Origin Beasts for everything, and also creating Reality Marbles with the perfect environment for them to multiply in numbers the fastest.
All sorts of transportation had only been functional for a month now, but even within this short time, the major powers could notice the beneficial effect.
And now, through these railways, the troops stationed in various cities were sent to Tura City one after another as the army exited the ground through the tunnel entrances, soon taking up spots all over the city.
The inhabitants of Tura City had already been vacated to other cities to prepare for this upcoming war.
Compass Carburettor only gave them the necessary details of the war. Everything else was executed by the veterans. It was best to leave such things to the experts.
As he hadn't been in a war, it wouldn't be wise to take charge of things he wasn't confident about. Thankfully, the Blazing Sun Clan was the strongest force in the Gaider Realm, many steps above the rest in terms of everything.
So with such a strong leader, everything proceeded in a streamlined fashion.
The bulk of the army took the underground route while the powerhouses and geniuses among experts took the air route to arrive the fastest while also scouring the layout of the place through their vantage points in the air.
"Greetings, Blazing Sun Clan Leader." The Green Centipede Clan Leader cupped his fists in respect the moment an old man gracefully landed on the walls covering Tura City.
The walls spanned a height of twenty metres and a width of fifty metres. As there were a lot of powerhouses that could fly, not much emphasis was given to its height. It was just a line of defence that they stood upon.
Tura City was called the edge of the Gaider Realm because from here, the mist walls of the Gaider Realm would be visible. These mist walls formed the border, something that couldn't be traversed by cultivators.
And dotted among the mist wall in this section were portals leading to other Realms. There was a wide valley leading from the portals to Tura City, making it a natural fort.
"How's the situation?" The Blazing Sun Clan Leader asked.
"The enemy is raging to attack us, but haven't done so until now. They seem to be waiting for something." The Green Centipede Clan Leader spoke.
And, as if waiting for him to utter these words, countless portals among the mist wall glowed as six streams of cultivators gushed out, each possessing imposing momentum.
