Chapter 534 Double K.O "I hope you can succeed, Compass," Rhizen muttered as he sat on the stone bench, watching the bowl containing tea before him vanish. This meant that Compass Carburettor had pulled back all summons that he had created out of memory.
As this Reality Marble was a permanent structure, it continued to exist. But for the Spydragon it was situated within, the entity was currently in Xuer's hands at the moment, unmoving.
It seemed news regarding the end of the battle approaching was spread across the Gaider Realm as countless cultivators rushed in droves using a myriad of transports.
After all, Straxia and Compass Carburettor seemed to be charging up power slowly but surely. And during this time, the crowd continued to grow in size, soon spilling out of Tura City as they filed into the battlefield, stopping a kilometre before the duo.
Similarly, the army from the other side too returned, gaining enough courage after the past few months. Slowly, people from everywhere filed into the place, absolutely curious about the outcome that they knew would change their myriad Realms.
The Dust Wave Walls around the mountain range had vanished as the people quickly scaled it up, watching the scene from anywhere they had space to stand for.
Millions of people, both cultivators and mortals had appeared, filling the mountain ranges on both sides. After all, two days was more than enough time for a significant sum of them to arrive using the transports.
This was how long the two individuals faced each other at almost point-blank range, continuing to charge up their attacks.
"Please win!" Those from the Gaider Realm prayed desperately, hoping for Compass Carburettor to emerge victorious so that they would be freed from the oppression of the Evil Spirits.
After all, they had seen just what the Evil Spirits were capable of the past few months, especially terrified of Straxia.
After all, even though they were high up in the mountains, they could feel the oppressive power emanating from Straxia, causing their knees to go weak in fear. From time to time, they hallucinated a scene of hell where they formed rows upon rows on the ground.
Mysterious creatures, ethereal in nature floated across the place, leaping into the brains of the people from time to time, controlling them, causing them to experience myriad emotions before their minds shattered. After that, the ethereal creatures exited their brains and switched over to another victim.
This continued to happen as everyone, whether human or Origin Beast was subject to the same.
And it wasn't just one or two that faced this hallucination, but multiple people that experienced the same.
It was a result of the Luck System's power leaking out of Straxia's body that was unable to rein in everything any longer.
The emotions of every one were strained, desperate even as they gazed at the scene, of Straxia and Compass Carburettor facing each other.
The air was ripe with tension, with none moving a muscle, able to feel the sense of oppression that permeated through everything.
To a certain extent, it could be said that the eyes of the entire Gaider Realm were on this place.
His back was slick with sweat as Compass Carburettor felt weak all over, having truly condensed the entirety of his power into Anthozoa to unleash that one ultimate attack.
He wasn't alone in this as Straxia too was the same, having condensed the entirety of her power into the sphere of lighting at the tip of her index finger.
It took them two days because they truly condensed every ounce of their strength into their respective attacks. It was to such an extent that a single breeze following their attack was enough to kill them.
But, such was the weight hinging on their victory.
Compass Carburettor continued to stare into the eyes of Straxia, not even having the strength to utter anything as he continued to turn weaker. His hair turned white while his skin began to wrinkle. His lifeforce too was being poured into the attack, betting every ounce of his power into it.
Straxia too did the same.
And finally, when each had less than ten seconds of their lifespan left in them, unanimously, they launched forth their respective attacks.
The bullet shot out of Anthozoa, causing the gun to crumble in response as the Dragon Bullet transformed into a metre-long dragon. But the power it contained within it was everything the current him could condense, absolutely terrifying.
His past as a System Host on Earth, his journey as a System Slayer in the Darble World, his enlightenment and transformation into the Main Character in the Apocalypse World, and finally, his sealed and recovered self in the Cultivation World, the power and authority they attained through the characters played by Compass Carburettor, Domino Plottopia, Gahrat, and finally Hazen, everything that he had ever been was symbolised into this one attack.
There was no flair to it as it was a mere dragon-shaped serpent, a metre in length, one that swam towards Straxia.
And in response, the sphere of lightning shot forth by Straxia contained the history of all the Luck-based Systems, transforming into a lightning snake, also a metre long.
The two snakes silently collided into each other, vanishing from view as the two entities tore into each other through myriad forms at the microscopic level.
Thump! Thump!
The hearts of everyone thundered in response as the oppressive feeling they felt vanished. And immediately after, everyone saw the figure of Straxia collapsing to her knees.
But just as they were about to holler in victory, they noticed that even though she was exhausted, her face sported intense, uncontrollable glee, akin to a devil laughing from the depths of hell.
In contrast, Compass Carburettor's eyes lost their lustre as he slowly collapsed to the ground, turning into dust before vanishing entirely, his form erased from history.
"What…is happening?" A powerhouse muttered in confusion, unable to understand why he had arrived at the current location in the first place.
After all, the memory of Compass Carburettor vanished from the minds of everyone, baffling them.
Swish!
A sword flashed past, severing Straxia's head as it transformed into Ranze that kneeled on the ground, tearing up in confusion, "Why…was I charging? What is this…anger that's rising in me?"
He then turned around, noticing Straxia's body slowly disintegrating too, focusing on her baleful smile of victory, shuddering in response.
"What the…heck happened here?" The same question resounded in the minds of everyone as soon after, they began to tear up while a sense of dread filled up within them, alarming everyone as they had indeed lost a lot of memories.
"My God…" Ranze stared at the sky vacantly, unable to recall anything related to Straxia. But he could still sense the chill he felt while staring at her baleful smile, clutching his hands into a prayer, "Please, not another war."
"I want peace."
