But according to the plot, the time would only reverse if Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua are both dead in the timeline.

The time reversal caused by System Yang and System Yue had accidentally brought his future soul back to the past like Hei Yuhua and Ye Yuyan. His soul wasn’t protected like the first two and suffered quite a lot due to the transfer. This event greatly weakened the white snake system and Ying Su’s soul. Because of this Ying Su’s future soul fails to merge with the current timeline’s Ying Su.

Poppy said, “If I said I wanted to kill ye Yuyan would you stop me?”

Yu Xi shut his mouth and grit his teeth as if denying something but in the end, he hardly responded with a single word.

“No.”

“That’s good. But not, for now, I am currently running out of tools and pawns to use. I at least need to contact my executives once,” said Poppy.

Yu Xu asked, “How? Your face and mine were under wanted status plus... Datura’s situation is the worst. His wicked deeds were spreading on the internet. I think his bounty is even higher than both of ours.”

“I don’t know much about the details. But I heard from the system around Yuyan that a God helped him,” explained Yu Xi.

Poppy mumbled, “They are able to revive someone from the dead without nothing as a medium. Even the White Snake couldn’t revive someone who died. Except for me, resurrection is impossible for the white snake system. Is the system with Ye Yuyan a real god or something?”

“What are you talking about?” asked Yu Xi.

Poppy replied, “Nothing much. I’m done eating, let’s go to sleep.”

“Sure.”

The two head to the bedroom they had cleaned up when they first arrived. Lying on the same bed, the lovers hugged each other in their sleep. They look peaceful even in the middle of all chaos.

Nightshade finally woke up and saw herself tied to a chair. She felt weak as she looked up at the dim light swing above her head. The whole room itself was too dark and the only source of light was the small lamp on the top of her head.

She tried controlling her pheromones and converting them to shadows like before but her pheromones remained the same as usual. Obviously, can no longer be converted into shadows. Her eyes narrowed with scrutiny and said, “It’s you two. Your bosses thought you could make me talk?” said Nightshade in a provocative manner.

Lou Wei just raised his eyebrows while Yun Jie remained silent. Nightshade provocation was useless to the two of them.

Yun Jie said, “Brother and Brother Ye had already placed your boss under wanted status. They’ve been on the run since this morning. Thanks to Aster, they couldn’t leave the country at all. We had blocked all routes of escaping abroad.”
