Warden Lou blocked the kid and looked around so that neither Ye Yuyan nor Hei Yuhua was around. But they already knew that both Lords were awake and no longer needed a vessel to rest. “They went hiking on Mount Everest. Why did you return to Ming-ge?” asked Yun Jie.

Yun Ming replied, “Orders from Lord Hei. He said you guys are about to finish your business. By the way, who is that lady tied to the chair? There is something in her that isn’t supposed to be in this world.”

“Something not from this world?” repeated Yun Jie in confusion.

Lou Wei shivered and said, “What do you mean something is inside Nightshade? Is there a ghost?”

“Hm? Not a ghost but a parasite,” said Warden Lou and waved his hand towards Nightshade suddenly something like a wriggling white snake came out of Nightshade’s mouth.

“This is... a parasite. Not an ordinary one but one that gives illusions and takes control over someone’s memories. It had a hypnotism effect on the target and this can only be redeemed in the System Mall,” said Warden Lou as he crushed the wiggling white snake into nothing.

Yun Ming said, “Seeing these the executives might be under some kind of hypnotism but if the plot wasn’t wholly affected until Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua come back to the past that means... Some other variables caused these effects. The memories we got from you are enough proof that in your past life none of the executives were inflicted with the parasites. Hm? No... Yun Jie ended the call with a heavy atmosphere. He knew what kind of exchange Inspector Yi Rouya wanted to do. He must have heard that Datura, Azalea, and Hyacinth were currently being captured. Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua might have captured them all right now especially when Bai Jin, the God of Wealth, and Shi Wuya were there to help. “He is back but he is crazier now than before. He even went to Crossfield Private High School just to take some hostages. I don’t know what he wanted to do but we need to stop him from killing the hostages,” said Yun Ming.

Lou Wei said, “Hostage-taking!? What the hell does he want!”

“I will call my brother. You arrange some more people and a sniper just in case,” said Yun Jie

Warden Lou said, “Go ahead. Leave this lady to us. We will look after her.”

Beside him, Yun Ming nodded his head and said, “Go saving lives is the priority.”

Lou Wei and Yun Jie agreed to this and left Nightshade in the hands of Warden Lou and Yun Ming. They left the building and headed to the High school as soon as they could.

Bai Jin and Shi Wuya had effortlessly captured Azalea and Hyacinth. They had surrendered the two of them to the police after they had injected a potion in them to erase their special abilities like what happened to Nightshade.

Hyacinth was shouting at Bai Jin and Shi Wuya as they were being pushed into a police car.

Bai Jin was eating a burger on the side with Shi Wuya after capturing them.
