Supporting High School Student……………..

“That was fun! It really earned the title of this place’s main attraction!”

“Y, Yeah……it was amazing…….”

“Right! Also….thanks for riding it with me 3 times!”

“Well, I don’t really mind….yup, no problem at all.”

It doesn’t seem that Suzuka noticed and I managed to calm down when I slid down alone earlier. Still, I barely survived with my sanity intact.

Honestly, I think I need a little time to cool my head. Besides, despite being in the water all this time, I’m getting thirsty.

“I’m going to buy a drink, do you want anything? I can buy something for you if you’d like.”

“Eh, really? Then since I moved around quite a bit earlier can I have some sports drink?”

“Roger. Wait here okay.”

Saying so, I headed to the changing room first to grab my wallet. It’s not that far anyway so it’s barely inconvenient.

I took my wallet from there and headed to the stalls instead of the vending machine. The drinks at these stalls are served in a cup with plenty of ice and they only cost 100 yen a cup.

Although I work as a model, the difference of 10 – 20 yen is still big for me as I am still a high school student. It’s important to save money where you can.

“Uhh, what are you selling?”

“YES! We have sports drinks, Sodas, and Teas. We are running low on Sodas but the replenishment is coming so there’s no need to worry!”

“Then please give me a cup of sports drink and a tea please.”

“Yes, sir! That will be 200 yen!”

I handed the money over and finished the transaction. I have to go put back my wallet in the changing room first though.

After I put back my wallet I went back to the pool but I couldn’t find Suzuka. I thought that she might have another go at the waterslide alone but I couldn’t find her there either.

Since we are at the pool, we don’t have our smartphones with us. When I was wondering what to do, I heard a commotion from a distance.

“Hey, I’m telling you to cut it out! We said no right, leave us alone!”

That’s Suzuka’s voice. It seems that she is arguing with someone…….I kinda get a sense of deja vu from this though. Anyway, I’m sure that she’s in trouble so I immediately headed in that direction.

“Hey, you two. You are alone right? Why don’t you come play with us?”

“You two are not with anyone, no? Let’s have some fun together.”

“No, thank you. We are just fine by ourselves.”

“We are happy playing here by ourselves so we are totally fine!”

When Suzuka was waiting back at the pool, she heard such a conversation unfolding. One group is obviously trying to pick up another but it should be fine as apparently, it is two-on-two. However, the following sentence changed the situation.

“Don’t say that……wait, Nn? You….AHH! Hey, you are the girl that bluffed your way out with that guy from before right! You think you can give us a slip eh!?”

“It’s the girl from back then huh! We won’t let you off this time!”

“I, I turned you down last time too!”

“Please stop! The security will be here soon!”

It seems that some bystanders already ran to get the security.

Perhaps they ignored their surroundings and didn’t even understand how their actions look like to others, they are completely oblivious to that. 

However, it should take them some time to arrive. Thinking that leaving them to deal with the two hooligans alone would be bad, Suzuka decided to step in.

“You two, the girls said no right? I think it’s better that you two leave them alone.”

“Y, You’re…….”

“Haah? ……..hey, we got ourselves a fine girl here. How about it, want to play with us?”

“HAAAAA? No way. Why would anyone have a reason to accompany trashes like you.”

“Exactly! Asuka-san already said no right! Just leave us alone!?”

As she thought, she got recognized. Still, Suzuka got irritated that she is now treated as a new pick-up target for these guys.

Because of that, her words came out harsh and the two men do not take kindly to that.

“WHAT!? Hey, don’t get carried away because we play nice alright…….you want us to get rough!?”

Saying so, the man grabbed Suzuka’s wrist.

“Hey, I’m telling you to cut it out! We said no right, leave us alone!”

“Shaddap! Now you can’t get away!”

When I arrived at the source of the commotion, I saw a playboy-looking guy grabbing Suzuka’s by the wrist.

Suzuka seemed to be covering for the two girls behind her but I can hear that her voice was also quivering a little so I immediately moved in to intervene.

“Whatever just come with us……Aahn?”

“……what are you doing?”

I grabbed the man’s hand and he glared at me.

“She’s taken huh? …….wait, you are the guy that got in our way the other day! I knew you have a woman or two waiting for you!”

“Wait, you two are…….anyway, just release her, can’t you see that she’s hurt.”

“Shut up! Getting in our way again! You think we will forgive you a second time…….?”

The duo let go of Suzuka and twisted my arm. It hurts a lot but it’s not like it is unbearable.

“I don’t know why I need your forgiveness but I’m not going to back down. Rather, you understand that you are the ones who are interrupting us right?”

“Shaddap!”

“Kyah! Seiya-kun!”

“…..Ouch….”

He released my arm and tried to punch my face but I blocked his fist with my arm. Still, it hurts a lot. 

Seeing that, the two got even angrier and raised their fists for another punch.

“Another one……”

“You there! What are you doing!”

Perhaps someone went to call them, the security ran up to us. Many people also gathered around us as well since it became a big commotion.

“….tsk! Someone already called them huh!”

“Take these two away!”

The two men were taken away by the security. They will probably be banned from this pool. 

At that time, Suzuka rushed toward me.

“Are you okay Seiya-kun!”

“I blocked it with my arm so I’m fine.”

“You, it seems that they assaulted you right? Are you okay?”

“Yes, I’m fine.”

“We need to ask you about what happened here but what about the girls behind you?”

“…….I think they are unrelated.”

I’m not bleeding and I don’t want to involve them too. The people those two physically assaulted were only me and Suzuka after all.

“……Is that so. I understand.”

Probably understanding my intention, the security urged me and Suzuka to come with him.

“….Uh!…….Thank you very much……”

“Thank you for saving me again……and, I’m sorry…….”

“Don’t wor–ry…..? Eh…….? Well, that must have soured your fun here but do enjoy yourself.”

The two girls were Ichinose-san and Eihashi-san. Both of them look apologetic but the surprise I received from this is worse than the one from when I just got punched by two random hooligans.

Anyway, I decided to follow the security with Suzuka. Also, I think I heard [Seiya-kun…….?] from behind me but I will pretend that I couldn’t hear that.
