Akechi Hideyori ponders his Lunch

Today we only have morning classes.

I was looking forward to spending my free afternoon.

I was like, ‘what should I do?’ and ‘I could eat out today right?’

Coming up with plans to spend my free time is rather fun.

Well, let’s go over my options.

I can take a short train ride to a restaurant that recently became popular for its cheap but large serving.

Takeru said that the food there is pretty good and even gave that place his stamp of approval.

.

The hamburg steak from that family restaurant I recently saw on TV looks nice too.

There’s no way I can resist trying it out when they have such a delicious offering.

Even Emi said [We absolutely have to try that steak!] this morning.

.

There’s also Master’s coffee shop……….Nah.

I’m not in the mood for frozen food.

[This thing, it’s a little bizarre isn’t it?], was how Madoka described Master’s toast.

.

That new udon place seems nice too.

Uematsu invited me out saying [Their udon is super delicious. Let’s go there together, Master!] and she kept going on about the place for 10 minutes straight.

Or I can go on a solo karaoke trip.

There’s this place Eien-chan recommended. I think she said they serve affordable and good food there too.

I’ve been stressed out a lot recently so singing death metal at the karaoke would be a good stress reliever.

Master’s coffee shop also……Nah, no way.

Sakuya said that Master just contracted with a good supplier but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still frozen food.

.

Convenience store Karaage might be nice though.

Nodoka said that they are nice and juicy.

Since I’d be browsing magazines at convenience stores anyway, I can just buy some Karaage while I’m at it.

That popular bakery is also a nice option.

Risa told me that they always sell out around 3 pm but their bread is really delicious.

Since I’m off at noon, I should be able to make it today.

Conveyor belt sushi is nice too.

I’ve been thinking of going to one by the end of this month ever since I saw StarCha’s tuna commercial.

When I asked Seiko about it, she mentioned [The sushi place Tatsuyuki-san brought me to was super delicious] so I’ve been craving sushi.

Tatsuyuki-san is the type that would bring Seiko to a place that he usually doesn’t frequent but never take me out for that kind of trip at all.

Well, Master’s coffee shop is also………nope.

Master often gives [Surplus Stock] of his frozen food to my place.

I’ve been eating that for free so I don’t want to go out of my way to pay for it.

OR

I can go to a maid cafe.

Tatsuyuki-san was raving about his perfect maid acquaintance who opened a shop where elite maids personally trained by her are working. After that, he also went on a long and passionate lecture about maids.

He did give me a coupon and told me that I have to at least try visiting the place once too.

Ahhh, I’m lost……

What should I do for lunch today…….

Singing death metal by myself?

The maids seem nice too.

It’s decided.

I’m visiting a maid cafe today.

With my decision made, I merrily walked toward the classroom’s door.

“Well, hold on, Akechi-sensei.”

I’m in the MAID mood right now.

While I was looking forward to the omelet rice, Takeru grabbed me by the shoulder.

Wondering what he wants, I turned back.

“You hungry?”

“Yeah.”

“So where are you going for lunch?”

“I’m getting myself some Kyun Kyun Moe Moe☆ at a maid cafe.”

“You’re not embarrassed at all saying that out loud?”

“If you feel embarrassed at something at this level then you lose. When someone says Moe to you, you have to say Moe back. It’s common sense.”

“Is it though……..”

Come to think of it, It’s been nearly 10 years since I’ve known Takeru but we have never had a Moe talk huh?

Perhaps a full-on lecture by Tatsuyuki-san, an expert in this field, is in order.

“Hideyori, it’s a shame but you will have to cancel your plan today.”

“And why do you get to decide that!? The maids are waiting for mel!”

“Lunch is on me.”

“What are we waiting for then, let’s go.

Alright, my maid cafe trip is canceled.

There’s no way around it. If it’s his treat then I must go.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s a guy or a girl but can you bring someone with you?”

“Well, don’t be like that, Akechi-sensei. It’s my treat you know.”

Should I use my Gift to run away?

No, Gifts don’t work on this guy!

Alarm bells are ringing inside my head.

I won’t commit to some stupid Wanko-Ramen showdown.

“FuFu, It’s a secret. It’s just that I need an even number of people.”

“Y, you and Risa alone already made an even number right?”

“It’s too boring, isn’t it? Fun time should be shared with a lot of people, don’t you think?”

You’re just going to hold a Wanko-Ramen anyway right?

You only want a showdown with me don’t you?

Akechi-sensei doesn’t want to do that…….

“I’ve to go see my long-lost maid today so…….”

“Come on now, Akechi-sensei. Ramen awaits us.”

“NOOOOOO! A long-skirted maid with a mole under her eye is waiting for me!!!!!!”

It’s confirmed that it’s Wanko-Ramen!

“Nn? What are you doing, Hideyori-kun, Juumonji-kun?”

“Ohh, Sasaki! Wanna have lunch? It’s my treat. I’m in the middle of catching this guy actually.”

“NO WAY! LET ME GO! THE MAIDS ARE WAITING FOR MEEEEE!!”

“Ok, I’m going too. Rather than going to some maids, let’s have lunch together, Hideyori-kun.”

“………….”

Fate is cruel…….

With Emi, Takeru and Risa, I was taken to the Juumonji apartment.

.

This is the choice of the world.

……if I can’t even resist the Wanko-Ramen event then there’s no way I can break my death flags. Thinking so, I started weeping in my heart…….

Hideyori sings death metal because of the influence of his father in his previous life (He doesn’t wear makeup though)

It had been depicted that Mitsuhide-kun and Hideyori-kun went to karaoke with Kurusu-san and Seiko before but he didn’t sing death metal in front of them because he knew they would recoil from that.

I think he usually sings songs from the 90s.
