Juumonji Risa wants to Feed

We stepped inside the Jummonjis’ apartment.

It’s a refreshing experience since I rarely visit Takeru’s place.

The three of them usually come to my house but I don’t think I’ve ever stepped inside Emi or Takeru and Risa’s places.

I guess they simply don’t want Akechi Hideyori in their house huh?

I’ve already made peace with that so I’m not going to feel down though.

“You said that it’s your treat but what exactly are we going to eat here?”

“Emi-san, take a look at this…….”

Risa showed us the contents of a large cardboard box.

As expected, it’s jam-packed with ramen packages.

“……“……….your parents, are they opening a ramen place?”

“Nah, I don’t think so…….maybe.”

“Why are you so vague you idiot. At least keep track of your own parents’ careers will you?”

“My dad’s a doctor, my mom’s a lawyer.”

“Eh? Your parents are that elite!?”

This Galge protagonist. He lives in a good house and his parents are never home but to think that they have such a cheat-like backstory…….

Well, that’s the protagonist for you…..

He’s handsome, he has a nice personality, and his family is rich. On the contrary, people would be upset no matter what he does because of jealousy……

I kinda understand why the original Akechi Hideyori who has a so-so face, a scummy personality, and an average family, wanted to pick a fight with him now.

Sure, I can get tons of money if I use my Gift but I will definitely head straight to a bad ending so there’s no way I would consider that an option.

“Hideyori-kun! Please cheer up!”

Emi’s voice made me regain my composure.

The Juumonji family’s background was a bigger shock than I expected.

“Tadah. Nii-san and Akechi-kun are going to help me set up a Wanko-Ramen today.”

Here it comes, the Wanko-Ramen…..

It’s a happy-go-lucky event that misled the fans so there’s no way I would forget about it.

The strangely excited Hideyori, the parade of stupid banters, the unexplained rise of Risa’s favorability, the fact that it’s an essential event for Risa’s route, the first time Emi’s clicking her tongue at you, the whole scene felt like the voice actors and actresses were just messing around with each other……

Moreover, the exclusive event CG for this one is a picture of Takeru and Hideyori having a Wanko-Ramen showdown.

Seriously, why do I have to watch an event CG of two dudes eating ramen in a Galge?

It was a ridiculous event filled with so many retortable moments.

“Rather, don’t Risa-chan and I get to eat?”

“We will once they are done.”

“……..I want to go home.”

“Me too.”

“I want to go home too.”

Come to think of it, Takeru wasn’t really into this huh……

Only Risa was so motivated.

“No way…….look at Emi, her spirit already left her body, see?”

Seeing Emi’s attitude, I can tell how sour the original her was when she clicked her tongue at Takeru…….

Not only did she have to prepare ramen for 2 hours straight, but Hideyori was also in a bad mood at the end so he ordered her to leave and she didn’t get to eat any herself. The punchline of the event was how no one kept count even though Takeru and Hideyori were supposed to be having a showdown after all……

Besides, as a result of her clicking her tongue at Takeru, tons of Emi’s haters started to emerge and her route even got pulled from the second game. In a sense, she’s kind of a victim of this event.

Personally, I thought that Emi’s voice actor’s performance was eerie yet fascinating so I was actually thrilled at the tongue-clicking thing since it’s possible that it’s a reward but people are entitled to their own opinions.

“It can’t be helped, I will give up on Wanko-Ramen……”

Since it’s 3 against 1 Risa admitted defeat!

“But these noodles, they are going to expire tomorrow. I want to get rid of it today so let’s eat them together.”

“All of this? Just us?”

This whole cardboard box worth of noodles with just the 4 of us…..?

I can’t even imagine how much we each have to eat……..

“It’s a waste to just throw them away right! Moreover, the frugal ghost will haunt you if you throw away this much food!”

“Is there such a thing as a frugal ghost though?”

“Gashadokuro is one right.”

“Eh!? No way…….”

(TLN: Gashadokuro is a yokai born from people who died from starvation. They are vengeful spirits so they often bite lone travelers’ heads off.)

Emi and Risa’s conversation warmed my heart a bit.

It seems Risa really loves Gashadokuro though.

“It doesn’t have to be just the four of us right? Let’s call in some reinforcements.”

“Oh, how reliable of you, Hideyori-kun.”

“I’ll leave it to you, Hideyori.”

“Yeah, leave it to me.”

Tapping my smartphone, I call the person who’s on the top of my RINE’s chat history.

The phone rang about three times before she answered.

“Hello.”

[[Ah, Hideyori-kun. What’s wrong?]]

“Can you come by Takeru’s place?”

[[I’m already here though.]]

“Ah, I accidentally called Emi…..”

She was on the top of my RINE’s history……

“You really are an idiot you know.”

“I was in a hurry so I didn’t look alright. Let’s see, the second on the list……it’s Takeru huh. No way around it, I will call Takeru then.”

“Can you stop fooling around?”

“Why did you guys use RINE so much in the first place? The third one is…..yep, she definitely isn’t here.”

I learned from my mistake and checked the name first.

After the 5th ring, the call finally connected.

[[Hello, Akechi-san? What’s wrong?]]

“Come to Takeru’s place now! Please!”

[[StarCha is taking Instagram photos at the moment so no☆. I’m at Miss Donut right now.]]

“Uwah, I thought I called Seiko but StarCha answered!? …….and why don’t you call me Onii-chan while you’re StarCha though…….?”

[[StarChild doesn’t have a brother. Please say that to Hosokawa Seiko instead…….]]

With an idol’s cold shoulder, the call ended.

Is this really all right?

I feel like my dignity as an older brother is kinda non-existent now though?

I contacted Uematsu. She seemed very motivated and I immediately got an OK.

That’s a relief.

“For the time being, we have Uematsu on board. She might bring a few people with her too.”

“Then let’s get these noodles in the water before Uematsu-san arrives.”

And thus, the Wanko-Ramen plot was stopped and it was replaced by a Ramen disposal marathon.
