I walked in front of Fukamori Misuzu and activated my Gift.

I couldn’t use it on her before because Emi was with her but now that it’s just me and her, I can use it as many times as I want.

Still, it’s not like I intend to give her hundreds of commands……….

Just a few would be enough.

There, I issue the three [Decrees] that would [Dominate] her will.

“First, [Do not register the fact that I used my Gift on you into your memory. You will recall nothing about my Gift].”

“……..yes.”

“Second, [From now on, you must never try to give harmful poison to people].”

“……..yes.”

That’s good. This is going well.

I don’t know where she got the poison she tried to use on Mitsuki but without that Mitsuki, Takeru, and everyone else including me would be safe from her.

“And third……,”

I gulped.

With some hesitation, I give my final command.

“[Except for self-defense, you must not kill other people]. …….that’s it.”

“Understood. I will obey all three orders.”

Misuzu’s eyes widened.

Because of [Dominating Decree] she shouldn’t be able to recall anything about my Gift no matter how hard she tries.

But with this, it’s over.

I have completely eliminated the trigger for the tragedy Misuzu would cause.

I had decided long ago that I’d have to give Misuzu these three commands if Takeru entered Mitsuki’s route.

Alright, that’s Mitsuki’s route completed!

No matter how much Takeru and Mitsuki would flirt around with each other, there would be no poisoning attempt by Misuzu.

In other words, I’ve avoided the conclusion where Emi, I, and Misuzu would get trapped inside Mitsuki’s [Solitary World of the Moon].

I’ve escaped my fate!

All that is left is Yoru’s route which would only lead to the sequel.

In short, Hideyori will survive the story of the first game.

This is why my first year of high school is now death-flag free!

Of course, the storm of death flags would resume when I get to the second year but that’s a long way off. Let’s take it slow for a while.

I have broken all of my death flags in the first game.

Takeru can go about his love life as much as he wants!

Ah……., I’d have to ask him to refrain from flirting with the girls in front of me though.

After 10 years as Akechi Hideyori, I can finally see some results.

In an uplifting mood, I stepped toward the infirmary’s door.

“S, See you later, Akechi-kun.”

“Yeah, see you in the classroom.”

After exchanging those parting words, I opened the door.

“Ah, almost forgot.”

“Nn? Akechi-kun, what is it?”

“Ahh.”

Come to think of it, my mind was too occupied with the three commands I forgot to try out the idea that popped into my head the other day.

“Immediately erase the fact that the [Crest of Gift Acceptance] was ever carved into your body. You have never received any cursed crest. Just go back to the Fukamori Misuzu you used to be].”

“Eh?”

In an instant that [Dominating Decree] activated.

The black crest that has been plaguing Misuzu’s face started to disappear.

Lying in the bed was Fukamori Misuzu without a crest on her face. A face of Misuzu that I have never seen in the game before.

…………I thought it might work but it seems [Dominating Decree] really did the job.

The other day, when I was with Sakuya, I recalled when I managed to [Cure Sakuya’s Cold] with my Gift and it worked out in the same way this time.

Isn’t this Gift too much of a cheat?

It makes the main conflict in [Moon&Bell] seems so stupid.

Well, all’s well that ends well.

Let’s leave it at that.

“So? How do you feel? Any change?”

I carefully examined her face as I asked. She does look a lot like Mitsuki.

Perhaps because they are not same-egg-twins their appearances are not exactly the same but I think she’s pretty. I like her face.

Rather, she’s like a Dark Horse.

Misuzu usually wouldn’t face her classmates directly to try to hide her crest but without that, she would be pretty popular wouldn’t she?

I think her face is pretty and cute enough to warrant that.

“M, Misuzu’s face feels lighter……..the pain from the crest is gone too…….”

“I see. You should try looking at yourself in the mirror you know.”

When I pointed at the mirror on the wall, Misuzu changed into a pair of slippers and walks to it.

“…….eh? H, How…….the crest……it’s gone……is this, a dream……?”

.

Misuzu started to pat her face in disbelief.

“That’s how you really look, isn’t it.”

“A, Akechi-kun…….? What did you do to Misuzu?”

“Nothing. I just gave you the chance to start moving forward, that’s all.”

Alright.

There shouldn’t be anything to worry about since the first command is already in effect.

I don’t think I will have a chance to talk to Misuzu again but I hope she takes her time winning over Takeru.

“Your face, I think it’s cute. The guys will probably start swooning after you now.”

“C, Cute-!?”

Embarrassed, Misuzu started to blush.

Maybe she’s imagining the boys that would become her fans.

“Fufu, This is the beginning of the new Fukamori Misuzu huh.”

“The beginning of the new Misuzu…….”

“Well then, I’m off now. Bye Bye.”

“Yes! Thank you, Akechi-kun!”

“Sure!”

Saying so, I parted from Misuzu.

Now that Mitsuki doesn’t have to run around trying to [Lift Misuzu’s curse] anymore, I probably won’t have a chance to interact with the Fukamori sisters anymore.

Another Death flag broken.

While thinking about the remaining ones in the second and third games and the conflicts that would entail, I went back to the classroom.

“……….Th, This is fate, right? …….Misuzu, …….Misuzu is going to follow Hideyori-sama for life!”

I thought that I would never have the chance to talk to Misuzu again but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Though, that’s a story for another time……..

Author Note: the villainess is gone and an easy heroine takes her place.

The story about Sakuya’s cold that led to lifting Misuzu’s curse was in V5.

Incidentally, Seki-kun is in the game grade as Hideyori and the others so he wasn’t there to copy the [Curse Lifting] Gift whose holder was purged the year before. At the time, he wasn’t even enrolled at the academy yet.
