Juumonji Risa Shakes

With the tragedy of [Moon&Bell] route behind me, I immediately headed back to the classroom.

While I was feeling accomplished for a job well done, I spotted a girl with golden hair in front of the classroom.

“Hideyori! I’m just talking with Risa you see.”

Risa and Mitsuki who became friends after their chance encounter at Myacdonald were chatting with each other in the hallway.

Certainly, there were events in the game where the two of them were together but I can’t say that there were a lot. At most, I would only be able to count them using both hands.

And that’s counting the bonus section of the game already.

“I’m actually inviting Mitsuki-san to the girls’ party this weekend.”

They really do seem to get along well.

That’s fine and all but it’s kinda scary that my friends are colluding with each other without me knowing to try to take me out by surprise…….

“Do you want to join us, Akechi-kun?”

Risa teasingly chuckled at me.

“I want to take my time to chat with Seiko again too.”

“So you already met Seiko-chan, Mitsuki-san.”

“Yeah, I never expected that StaCha would be Hideyori’s younger sister though. I didn’t know that she has grey hair.”

“Grey…….?”

Risa’s face was saying [Eh? You sure you didn’t mistake her for someone else?]

Seiko never turned her hair grey in front of Risa after all.

Besides, since Mitsuki has never seen Seiko’s original appearance before, she probably thinks that Grey-haired StaCha = StarCha in private.

The real Seiko has brown hair and her eyes are similar to mine.

She looks so sweet that I wouldn’t mind giving her anything I have.

Meeting the original Seiko is like meeting Takeru, the game’s protagonist, for the first time.

Perhaps guessing from my expression that there was a circumstance behind this misunderstanding, we made eye contact and she nodded at me.

Being the only one who got left out, Mitsuki has a ? floating on her head.

Seriously though, what the heck is the Western Army?

The first thing that came to mind was of course the army led by Ishida Mitsunari in the Battle of Sekigahara.

……..is this a historical thing?

If I have to guess, both Risa and Mitsuki are probably Reki-jo (female history otaku).

In that case, Sakuya should also be a part of their group because she loves period dramas and history shows.

Risa and Mitsuki certainly give off a historical buff vibe too.

So, the Western Army would be a group of girls who like guys like Ishida Mitsunari and Shimazu Yoshihiro.

My mother in my past life was also quite a Reki-jo herself.

She was always excited when she went on and on about [Akechi Mitsuhide]. I mean, she likes the guy so much that she named her son after him.

I can sympathize with them since my mom was like that.

Sakuya, Risa, and Mitsuki are Reki-jos who may start breathing heavily talking about Sengoku warlords. I’m mature enough to accept that.

“Fufufu……., I didn’t know that you guys are such big Reki-jos.”

“No? I’m not a Reki-jo you know.”

Risa crossed her arms in front of her to form an X mark.

“Oi, stop putting it like that. You would make me look like the only Reki-jo here right!”

“But if Mitsuki is a Reki-jo then that would be completely understandable for me though……”

“Mitsuki-san certainly looks like the type that would enjoy Romance of the Three Kingdoms……”

“Why is it so specific!? And how do you know that!?”

“Mitsuki, so you’re a Reki-jo after all……..”

“Stop saying that like it’s a bad thing. Also, Romance of the Three Kingdoms is an accurate depiction of Han’s way of life right!”

“I mean……., they were pretty crazy……..”

I also enjoy Romance of the Three Kingdoms but there were just too many crazy moments where I went [Ha?] and scratch my head……

By the way, in Romance of the Three Kingdom, there was this guy people made fun of as the Mountain Climber called Ma Su. I really like that guy. (TLN: The guy saw a mountain, thought it would be a good vantage point, got his water supply cut off and his forces stranded on top.)

They said people cried when he got executed for his mistake and it just gives me the same vibe as the scene where Takeru kills Hideyori.

Since Takeru would cry for Hideyori even when he kills Hideyori himself, it’s just too perfect.

“Don’t say that. They might be crazy but there’s a romance in how they fought for conquest right!”

“Mitsuki seems like the type that like Guan Yu huh.”

“Ahh. That’s true. I bet she loves the Oath of the Peach Garden.”

“WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO SPECIFIC!”

There was no official depiction of Fukamori Mitsuki liking Romance of the Three Kingdoms in [Breaking the Chain of Sadness] but she just looks like the type that enjoys this kind of thing.

I can see why Eimi loves teasing her.

“Ah, come to think of it, Nii-san told me. Mitsuki-san is finding a way to break your sister’s curse right.”

“Yes, I’m truly indebted to Takeru. Hideyori has been helping me ask around lately too.

The three of us, Mitsuki, Takeru, and I, went around to other classes to gather information about the crest yesterday.

In that regard, the information we got from Uematsu Yurika was quite valuable.

In the game, she was killed right after the game started so she didn’t get any screen time but in terms of her ability, she’s very reliable and is quite high-spec.

“That being said, I have to be grateful to Hideyori too. You have been helping me out a lot lately after all.”

When some guy tried to pick up Mitsuki, I pretended to be her boyfriend and drove them away.

I acted as a go-between for her when she had a fight with Eien-chan.

The other day, I also held a study session with Mishima and Mitsuki at Starbucks.

When I spotted Misuzu in the hallway the other day, I told her that she should go the other way because Misuzu just left the classroom.

I also chased off a pervert when we encountered one while we were asking around for a way to break Misuzu’s curse. That guy was saying something like [Let me do you and I might remember something.] what a creep.

Most recently, I tried looking up the crest in the library and found 108 books about [Crest of Gift Acceptance]. It would be too much of a headache for Mitsuki so I picked about 30 books and compiled the content for her with Yurika’s help.

In general, I just did things that anyone can do.

“It’s a shame I didn’t say yes when Hideyori confessed to me the other day.”

“A, Akechi-kun!? You confessed to Mitsuki-san!?”

Risa got worked up.

She’s shaking my shoulders and starts to interrogate me.

I faltered at their serious gazes.

We’ve known each other for a long time already but I still can’t really handle them.

A new voice entered the conversation and the three of us turned to look.

After all, that voice belongs to Fukamori Misuzu whose curse I just lifted earlier…….
