Yang Ning was startled when the door of the chamber was suddenly pushed open with a loud noise.

She was so surprised by the sudden loud noise that she almost cursed aloud and even dropped a piece of grape that she was about to put in her mouth.

A frown appeared on her forehead when a small silhouette entered her chamber with a gloomy expression on his face.

She blinked in confusion when Yang Jian confidently entered her chamber without knocking on the door first and walked towards the center of the room as if it belonged to him.

‘What does he want now?’ She pursed her lips and wondered why he came to her chamber.

She stood up from the chair and before she could ask why he came to her chamber, Xiaowei was one step ahead of her.

“Young Master, would you like to have some fruits? Or should I bring something else for you to eat!” She asked politely as if welcoming him into his Chamber.

He just had lunch a while ago. Will he eat her snacks? What a stupid question it is to ask someone.

She understood why Xiaowei was trying to get extra nice to him since this chamber used to be his chamber in the past.

However, now it belongs to her. No one can take it back from her. How can he come inside her chamber without asking for her permission first?

While Yang Ning glared at Xiaowei with her sharp eyes, Yang Jian ignored Xiaowei’s question and was looking at the condition of his chamber in a daze.

He looked around his chamber which had changed quite a lot from the last time.

It has become.... more feminine yet sophisticated and beautiful.

There were more translucent, soft material curtains in the room which allows the sunlight to come directly inside the room.

There are also thick colorful curtains to block the sunlight to cool the room.

Not only that, but they have also changed the lights and the lanterns in the room to suit the atmosphere of the chamber and make it feel more lively and comfortable to live in than before.

How come no one decorated his chamber like this before?

He pursed his lips and felt jealous that Yang Ning is staying in such a cool chamber. It was better than his chamber that it used to be in the past.

He pursed his lips and glared at Yang Ning who was now the current owner of this chamber and living in his large and spacious chamber without his permission. While he was given a trash chamber to live in.

He is the future successor of the Yang Household. How can he live in a chamber which looks like a garbage room?

“How dare you! Who told you that you could use this chamber as yours without asking for my permission?” The little boy looked at Yang Ning and scowled at her for using his room without his permission.

Yang Ning raised her brows to see the little boy shouting at her. He is only 10 years old but he was talking like an adult to her.

What a cute little thing he is! She awed.

He was annoying but he was looking cute while getting angry at her like this. Just like a cute little angry bird.

She snickered when she imagined him wearing a cute little angry bird’s outfit and walking around the capital wearing that.

This action of hers didn’t go unnoticed by Yang Jian’s eagle eyes. “You....are you laughing at me? Are you making fun of me?” He was in disbelief to see her brazen attitude.

” Do you not fear me at all anymore? Do you know what can happen to you if I complain about you to the Father?” He asked her coldly.

“Forget about this chamber, you will be thrown out of this chamber if I do that.” He threatened her.

“Young Master, please don’t get angry. It wasn’t my lady’s intention. She wasn’t laughing at you.” Xiaowei was flustered when Yang Jian got angry and tried to pacify the situation.

If he got angry and complained about this to His Lordship, the consequences wouldn’t be good.

While Xiaowei was panicking, she heard a confident voice that almost stopped her heart. “Why would I fear you? Who do you think you are, that I should be getting scared of you?” Yang Ning asked in amusement.

He is just a small kiddo. How dare he shout at her?

It was strange and funny at the same time that she is getting to hear such things from a 10-year-old kid.

Xiaowei’s eyes widened in shock at Yang Ning’s response. She just told her about how much Yang Luoyang and Chang Ah care for Young Master.

Despite knowing everything, how can she talk to Yang Jian in such a manner? If she argues with him, the consequences wouldn’t be positive then.

While Xiaowei was getting worried for her lady, Yang Jian was caught off guard by Yang Ning’s response.

It was the first time she had spoken to him and it wasn’t something that he was used to hearing.

In the household, all the servants fear him and lower their heads as soon as they come in front of him.

In the past, even Yang Ning used to avoid looking into his eyes and always avoided confrontation with him.

It was as if she never existed in the household for him. She is his elder sister but was nothing more than furniture in the household for him.

Is she the same Yang Ning who used to lower her gaze when meeting him? He was shocked.

Yang Ning ignored Xiaowei who was getting anxious on the side and proudly pointed at herself, ” Do you know who I am?”

” Yes. I am your elder sister. You should also know that I am 10 years older than you. Ten years older. Is that how you talk to someone who is 10 years older than you? Huh?” She berated him as if she was teaching a lesson to her younger brother.

Even though there was only a 5-year-old difference between her and her younger brother, she always treated him like her baby brother and had the best sibling relationship with him.

“You...You....are you scolding me? Do you know what will happen if Father finds out about it?” Yang Jian’s eyes slightly watered when Yang Ning was scolding him in a stern voice.

Even Father never scolded him for a small matter like this. He only talked to him sternly when it came to his training and studies.

How could she scold him when even his parents never shouted at him?
