117 Royal Wedding (I)

It was time after dinner and the servants were already preparing to go to bed, meanwhile, Zheng Liang and Gu Lan were still awake in the study room and were discussing something related to work.

“On a night like today, you should go to bed early and have a proper rest.” She said and suggested him go to bed early rather than working until midnight and keep Gu Lan busy with work as well.

Zheng Liang looked at him with his squinted eyes and nodded before saying, ” Alright. Order the guards to patrol around the palace at night and keep everything in check.”

” Wake me up if something unusual happens.” He said.

Gu Lan nodded and assured him to make him free from worries, ” Nothing wrong will happen. I will take care of everything.”

“Your Highness should go to bed now. Tomorrow is a big day for you.” He said with a meaningful smile.

He still cannot believe that Zheng Liang is getting married tomorrow. Moreover, his bride is none other than the troublemaker Yang Ning.
