"Next time, Rimi will make it!
Limi-Lu, who proclaimed it that way, tended to jump out for just how long, and even came back from the pantry with the necessary ingredients.
She took the initiative to ask me what kind of confectionery she was wearing in the Lew family.
"I don't have a lot of time, so I'll make it look like a chat! Rimi hasn't been using water lately, and she's been using caron's milk!
"Well, that looks delicious."
Chatch cake is a simple version of a wasabi cake that I once served at a dinner party in Castle Town.
The starch (supposedly) ingredient is extracted from a chatch similar to a potato, so it was named as such. It is an application of a single chestnut flour cake, made for me by my mother at an early age.
Extracting starch from chatch is a hassle, but the procedure after that is simple. Simmer the chach powder with the sugar in water and let it cool and it is already done. Rimi-Lou was talking about boiling it in caron milk, not water.
Yet Rimi-Lou had also added two ingredients, not just sugar.
It's a powder of vanilla that crushes the fruit of a lamampa that reminds me of peanuts and cinnamon.
"This is so delicious when I put on the panem's amazing honey, but I don't use it much because honey is expensive, and Mother Meer Ray tells me. That's why I left it full of sugar!
When I made it, the sauce filling was the main flavor, so I didn't add much sugar to the cake itself.
Pour the rice cake ingredients so well boiled into a water-stained pan and tear them from the cured side to the appropriate size.
Eventually, the wood dish was piled with plump, shivering milky chatchcakes.
"You made a lot of it. It feels like too much for a tasting."
"Of the Yi! Leave me half of it, okay?
Rimi-Lou is laughing with a face that looks like he's probably in some kind of prank.
But the elderly group at the Lou family didn't seem to want it much either, so I decided not to pursue it any further.
"Okay, I'll take it"
Once I split it into small wooden plates, I carry the chutch cake into my mouth once again.
The powder of vanilla was hinged, so it was slightly fragrant.
However, the fragrance was felt to highlight the sweetness.
I still like the feeling that the chatch cake can chew through puffy without stickiness.
And yet, the Lamampa fruit, similar to peanuts, sometimes adds a different texture to the crispness, which was a good accent, as was the Tul-din treat.
Plus, the caron milk creates a wonderful flavor.
As far as I'm concerned, I felt like I was enjoying a unique Japanese recipe made from milk, nuts and cinnamon.
"This is delicious as well as, uh... Asta's lumpy chutch treat, isn't it?
Aunties and Tour-Din speak.
Of course I smiled at you.
"That's true. This application is great, even if it's what I taught you. Both Limi-Luu and Tour-Din like sweet treats that much, so I guess that means they improved fast too"
"For once, didn't Asta really like something called sweet confectionery?
Raina-Lou asks in wonder.
I shook my head "no" towards you.
"I like it, if you like it or not, but I don't think I could have had as strong an interest in studying the flavor myself. In my hometown, I just tasted people's sweets, and I didn't try to make them myself."
"I see. Confectionery is still something that draws a line with normal dishes."
"Yeah. In my hometown, cooks and confectioners were strong enough to be treated as something else. Of course, there must have been a lot of cooks who made excellent dishes out of confectionery, but my dad and I weren't cooks like that."
As I felt it, Rayna-Lew is nodding.
Instead, he raised his voice as Rimi-Lou panicked.
"Hey Zwei, you can't eat it all, can you? That's because I made it for my Donda father and my Dulm brother!
"To the chief and his second brother? Hung, do men like this sweet thing, sir? Even Din's parents said they didn't like the sweet Poitan made by their daughter there. Why, Sho?
Saying, Zwei throws the chutch cake into his apparent mouth.
"I said no!," Rimi-Lou said, winging and strangling its fine body. He is already twelve years old but closer to his height Zwei than Lara-Luu.
"Both Donda's father and Dulm's brother can't drink fruit liquor until their injuries are healed! And then I kind of started eating a lot of sweet treats, so I'm gonna take them to you before dinner! He said he had to eat a lot to heal his injury!
"Oh, I see... I guess it was important to go with fruit liquor as well as other dishes"
It was Yamil-Ray who turned back to Tul-din, saying so.
"Tool-din, wasn't that what caused you to be reprimanded too? If I had been drinking fruit liquor with a sweet poitan like that, the men would have been angry that the sweetness was killing me and I felt all the sourness...... rather, that's how I couldn't drink fruit liquor deliciously?
Yamil-Ray then turns around that gaze and turns to Vina-Lou.
"If you think about it, it might have something to do with the fact that you didn't think of the sweet Poitan as too delicious, but it was a big drink."
"Best of all, woman... I only speak fruit liquor about the time of the feast...? If that were the case, Sheila-Lou would mean something sweeter than me wouldn't fit my mouth...?
"Wow, I haven't always spoken of fruit liquor that far either."
Where the unfortunate Sheila-Lou spoke that way, now Limi-Lou looked back at Tour-Din.
"Hey Tour-din, make me another Poitan from earlier! So together, Donda, let's take it to your father!
"Yeah? Would you like my dish to the chief...? But if it makes the chief angry, I..."
"I never said that. Donda, my father and my brother Dulm will be delighted! Sweet confectionery was still better because eating salty dried meat made me want to drink fruit liquor - or something!
Tour-Din has turned his gaze towards me in a baffled way.
I laugh and slap that sneaky shoulder.
"Make it for you. Sweet sugar, milk, milk fat, they have a lot of nutrients that aren't enough for salt and meat. I think we should take in all kinds of nutrition to heal the wound.... and you should tell Din's parents everything you've been through."
"Previously...?
"Yeah. Tool-din's sweet baked poitan wasn't a dish to eat with meat or booze. But there shouldn't be a problem with the snacks during the day or eating after dinner. I wonder if it would be a good idea to just make people who don't drink fruit liquor at dinner."
"But it's too much not to feed parents or men who prefer alcohol while keeping expensive ingredients..."
"Fruit liquor is a bottle of red copper coin, isn't it? I don't think confectionery would cost that much copper coin. Those who like alcohol enjoy alcohol, those who like sweets enjoy sweets, I guess that's not a fair story."
"That's right! Even at Lew's, until he got hurt, both Donda's father and Dulm's brother only had a little sweet treat. All I had to do was eat with the women and Rudd!
Still, Sufila-Zaza, who had been silent for a long time, quietly advanced ahead of him as Tour-Din stirred up.
"Tour-din. If Din's parents don't like sweet Poitan, that's fine. But that's just a matter of preference, and it's never impossible to cook yours. If there's been a misunderstanding with your family, I think you should solve it at all costs."
There was no finer dust on such a tranced expression as earlier, and Sphyla-Zaza went on to say it that way with a tough face.
"If the men do not like sweet poitains, then rub it for the women. I also want to learn how to make sweet poitains on this occasion and rub them in my family. … I was reminded once again that you, the family of Zaza, have such arms that I could be very proud."
Apparently, the problems that Tour-Din had also stood for a solution.
Tour-Din compared me, Limi-Luu and Sufila-Zaza with tearful eyes before saying "Thank you......" in a small voice.
"Then make it while you explain the amount of ingredients to us. Because then even Zaza and Rutim and Ray and Sudra will be able to please their families with delicious treats"
That's how I said it, and now I'm going to compare Tour-Din to Limi-Lu.
"So, actually, I need to talk to you two."
◇
After a few moments, I was sending Yun-Sudra to Sudra's house, Tul-din to Din's house, to Fa's house.
I suggested to Din's parents to supplement the explanation from me as well, but Tour-Din said it was "okay". Then there's nothing I can squeeze out of the other house. I'm sure Tour-Din will be able to understand with his dear family. Until she shed a new tear, my turn should never come around.
(There seem to be a surprisingly few sweethearts around the woods, so maybe a sweet-making movement will roll in)
But sugar is a fairly expensive ingredient, and I didn't tell her about the risk of overdose of sugar. You won't have to worry so much physically because you're a forest folk who drinks sugary fruit liquor. I also want sweet treats to be medicine, not poison, I hope.
(But my parents didn't seem very interested in sweet treats. Is it a natural consequence that I will be crossed by Tour-Din or Limi-Lu?)
With that in mind, I connected Gill to a tree and carried the necessary supplies from a luggage truck parked beside the house. A number of ingredients to be used for this evening's dinner and the day after tomorrow in commerce, as well as used iron plates and steamer cages.
Place them in front of the front door and knock on the doorboard without any concern.
"Ai-Fa, we're home. Are you awake?
Then from inside, the voices of the Ladies Who Ai-Fa returned.
"Oh, wait a minute! It will be done soon, so please never open the doorboard!
That, apparently, was the voice of Sarris Lang-Fou.
She was worried about her injured eye-fa and had become something of an appearance in the past few days. So no wonder she's visiting, but I wonder what "absolutely" means.
Anyway, I'll just have to wait and I'll stand in front of the front door.
By "a little" Sallis Run-Fou was roughly two minutes.
"Thank you for waiting. Good luck with your work."
"Oh, thank you -" he called, and I was supposed to round my eyes.
It was at her feet that a loved one, discontinued from the language, was giving her a good peek into her face.
"Excuse me. I was milking this child... this is my child, my name is Aim-Fou"
"Wow, you were big enough to walk already. Nice to meet you...... not, hello, Aim-Fou"
When I first met Sarris Lang-Fou, she had this toddler in her chest. At that time, what a small, weak baby - the toddler stood firmly on his own feet, hiding his half with his mother's clothes grabbed all the time, and looking up at me with a decent face.
I guess small is small. But his hands and feet are covered with fudge and flesh, and his face is bleeding vibrantly. With clear blue eyes, the soft looking hair that has finally grown and grown is pale brown. They make me wear clothes like piercing clothes for toddlers, and they wrap thick bands around my stomach.
What a loving toddler.
Something about height has only reached about halfway between the knees and hips of Sarris Run-Fou, who is not even that long. That little face, etc. is going to be easily wrapped up in one hand flat.
"You're cute. How old is Aim-Fou?
"In this purple moon, I'll be just one year old. By the grace brought from Fa's house, we could never grow this far."
Saying happily, Sallis Run-Fou took my dear child in its hands.
"No way. My body is small, but I don't worry about hunger anymore. Thank you so much to Ai-Fa and Asta."
"No, I'm really glad that such a cute child is able to grow up safely"
I couldn't get my gaze off it and I made Aim-Fou laugh.
Aim-Fou remains decent, but the look on his face is loving again. I couldn't wait to follow that cheek on you, but I couldn't help but feel like working such a rambling imitation with my dirty hands just coming home from the outside.
"Oh, you almost carried your stuff in. I'm sorry. I'll help you, too."
"No, don't worry, you have something more important than luggage. Please sit down."
I decided not to hesitate to resume transport operations.
So finally, we meet our dear parents face-to-face.
"I'm back. What's the injury like?
"It doesn't matter. If you don't move, you won't feel any pain."
Ai-Fa also sat up against the wall and nodded at me in a position with a cheek wand on his lap.
A tight bandage remains wrapped under its chest, but otherwise it is an eye-fa as usual. The impression is that I feel empowered due to lack of exercise.
While I breathed relief into that powerful figure, I left my luggage in the pantry.
In the meantime, Sarris Run-Fou breaks her knee instead of Ai-Fa and releases Aim-Fou.
Really, Aim-Fou approached the old man and Ai-Fa and grabbed him by his supple left arm.
"Well, no, Aim. Because I-Fa is injured..."
"It doesn't matter. This toddler won't have enough power to hurt me yet."
Saying so, Ai-Fa was strangely stifling her body.
"I'm more worried about giving this toddler a painful hand than that. Is it ok for me to make moves?
"You don't have to worry about that. Toddlers are surprisingly sturdy, right? If the wound doesn't hurt, why don't you give him a hug too?
"I can't do that. You could squeeze it with my power."
"Well," Sarris Lang-Fou laughs with pleasure.
Sallis Run-Fou, who said he was childhood friendly with I-Fa, had a brighter expression to look different since he had achieved reconciliation. I guess it was reconciliation with this childhood taming that allowed me to reconnect with my neighboring family and was happiest for I-Fa, I suppose.
"I'm sorry. I should have left my toddler at home at a time like this because he was raised by all the ladies in the house, but this is how I brought him here today because I wanted to be by the Ai-Fa as much as possible."
At the foot of Sallis Run-Fou, who describes it that way, was placed a braided grass cage. I guess I've brought home work so that I can stay by the Ey-Fa all the time.
For me, of course, it was a story so thankful that it caused tears rather than annoyance: for Ey-Fa, who had become completely healthy except for one rib, the greatest enemy was loneliness and boredom.
"You don't have to apologize at all. Thank you for the ai-fa.... Um, could you let me hold Aim-Fou if you like? I'm going to wash my hands now."
"Of course it is. I'd be honored if Asta could hold me."
I carefully purged my hands with the water from the water bottle, and took the little body of a rough toddler from under the eye-fa.
How light. If you want to do it, it weighs like it could easily be supported with one arm. Must only be about six or seven kilometers.
Ame-Fou turns a decent eye, after all, as he is held in my arms. I still have little white eyes outside, black eyes or blue eyes, they are jewel-like eyes. My nose, mouth, hands and feet were small, and it felt more like a miracle that I was holding my nails in such tiny fingers properly.
"You're really cute. Now, is that a boy? Is that a girl?
"Is there a reason I'm a girl in the name of Aim? While this is all you live by the woods, you still don't even know that?
And, I'm more vocal than Sallis Run-Fou.
I smiled and looked back at you as I gave up Aim-Fou.
"Unfortunately, I don't know. She looks beautiful like a girl, but she also feels a little riddled around her eyebrows, so I'm even more lost. This must grow up to be a beautiful guy who can't even beat Rudd-Lou or Rau-Ray."
"You look a lot happier. Speaking of which, you liked toddlers, Asta."
"Yeah? Did you make that story an eye-fa?
"I did. I thought you said you started liking it because you had a lot of little kids visiting in your hometown shop."
"Oh, is that when you first met Tara? Hey, we didn't have a lot of customers bringing little kids to the store so far, so maybe it has nothing to do with that. Babies are unconditional and cute."
I = fa has made his mouth a letter to somehow it doesn't seem interesting.
Ei-Fa didn't like the little kid one way or the other, so did he touch something?
But the fact that Aim-Fou is a very loving being is an elusive fact to move. If that were the case, I would have felt this weight on my arm forever. Even more so because my tiny hands have touched my face like that lie.
"Oh, no, Aim-Fou. I didn't wash my face, so when you touch it, you get sick?
"Well, does Asta even handle poisonous grass in town?
And, Sarris Run-Fou laughs dull.
"I don't need that much attention. Toddlers are stronger than we think, aren't they?
"Hey, it's not a nuisance to get such a pretty kid dirty with my sweat and giva fat or anything"
Unfortunately, I decided to give my toddler back to his mother there.
Aim-Fou compares me to Ai-fa as she clings to her mother's chest.
"The name Aim is cute, too. Is it a coincidence that you resemble Ai-Fa?
"... I named him this way in hopes of becoming a strong hunter"
Sarris Run-Fou smiled embarrassingly, and Ai-Fa kicked my ass as she sat down. I remember the episode where I was supposed to give Gill a name similar to that of my father, and I asked him that, too.
But that would mean - a year before Aim was born, Sarris Lang-Fou had a strong vortex of friendship for Ai-Fa.
Even if they pulled away because of the Sung family, Sarris Lang-Fou never forgot about Ai-Fa.
Even if they kicked me in the butt, I was so happy to be able to confirm that.
"How long are you going to relax? Until the end of dinner, there's not even that much relaxation."
"Yes, yes, right now.... I'll put a fire in the kamado, but if it seems dangerous, should I use the kamado outside?
"No, we use fire at home, so don't worry."
Then I decided to take care of dinner.
Don't worry, even if you're not rushed, you'll still have more than two hours left by sundown.
"Speaking of which, I lost my job again from the castle."
Let me tell you that as I carved Aria, Ai-Fa became the top of the Buddha.
"It hasn't been a month since the last welcome feast and doings. How can you be too comfortable an offer, albeit the main one?
"Um, it's like that lady named Elphilia wants a sweet treat. We'll have to take a break from business that day, but work in Castle Town should be over by noon, so it won't affect business the next day."
"So you take it?
"As a result of our discussions with Donda-Lou, we were to work in that direction. If, of course, the other chiefs or the head of Fa, Ai-Fa, disagree, that's not the case."
"... If the chief Donda-Lou agrees, why can't I thank him for no particular reason"
And, increasingly, I = fa become a sinister face.
"Well, he seems to be taking care to keep the Genos climate from being borne by the forest people as much as possible. They also offer conveniences regarding the handling and price of Giva meat. With the help of Rimi-Lou and Tour-Din, I'll make it through."
"Limi-Luu and Tour-Din?
"Yeah. Seems like those two specialties when it comes to making sweets, so I'm going to try that face this time"
Donda-Lou has accepted, so all we have to do is wait for Din's parents to reply.
And this time, I'm trying to challenge you in the form of me and two cooking assistants, not three young cooks.
I'm not the only one by the woods who deserves a cook's name. I wanted the Castle of Genos to recognize that fact correctly.
"... so what if Graf-Zaza or Dari-Sauti had no differences either?
"What do you mean? You can't just relax in my mood about what the Three Chiefs admitted."
"No, that's not what I'm talking about. I was wondering if you would like to accompany me as an escort again."
"... what are you missing, you?
And, the tone of Ey-Fa's voice went down about two steps at once.
"I'm not sure you're thinking of leaving me in this house and going out to Castle Town by myself...?
"No, of course you can put on an escort. The settlement of Luu has a period of rest and the number of givahs is decreasing now, and Donda-Lu and Dalm-Lu are resting, so it seems like they are trying not to impose too much. So if it's a day or so, you can let the men out as escorts."
"With me, the hunter is on leave. There's no reason to give up the role of escort to anyone else."
"But Isn't Ai-Fa the Injured One Today? If you get rocked by a luggage truck, it could sound like an injury."
"Asta," Sallis Run-Fou has spoken up.
"I think that's an offer that ignored Ey-Fa's mood too much. If I were in Ai-Fa's shoes, I would surely have had feelings of anger and sadness too"
"Yeah? Well, why not?
"... Asta was once captured by that castle town, wasn't she? Even if it turns out that not all of the people in Castle Town are enemies, and even now, if we let Asta go on her own, it will bring back anger and sorrow."
Sarris Run-Fou overlapped words that way in a strong tone, looking straight back at me.
"I was the closest watcher of how much Ey-Fa suffered back then. It doesn't matter if there is actually no danger, while Asta is heading out to Castle Town, Ai-Fa will be burned in his chest with the same suffering. Please don't inflict such suffering on Ai-Fa."
While I lost my word, I turned my gaze back to Ai-Fa.
I = fa, like a firm child, have bitten his tight lips.
I decided to bow my head to you, sighing.
"Sorry. You look like I was the one who didn't take the most care. Try not to rock your luggage, so I'll ask you to come with me."
"... not because you wish, but because I accompany you at my will"
Ai-Fa turned her face away a lot and then let her lips hang so that she didn't look like Sarris Lang-Fou.
Sarris Lang-Fou smiles all the time, staring at the nod of such an eye-fa.
"Ai-Fa is a fiercer hunter than anyone else, while at the same time being a more emotional bunch of women than anyone else. As Fa's family, please just remember that, Asta."
"Then it's not like I'm a deaf child, it's Sarris Run-Fowe!
and the red-faced eye-fa dazzles Sarris Lang-Fou.
Towards you, Sarris Run-Fou smiled back.
"But I find such a tiny part of Ai-Fa the most loving. I wonder if all humans who know Ey-Fa well do."
"Ya 're freaking me out! Sarris Run-Fou shouldn't have been such a mean thing to say daughter!
"I'm not being mean, I'm just telling the truth. Besides, I'm no longer my daughter."
With that said, Sarris Run-Fou pressed her cheeks against her loving soft hair.
Aim-Fou, not knowing how, is looking right back at Ai-fa's red face.
It was unusual for Ai-Fa to show such a childish face to someone other than me, but of course she never felt bad about me.
Either way, it was decided here that Ai-Fa would accompany the tea party in Castle Town.
