Chapter 296 - Who dares to kill my Little brother?

Grasping the pipe, he climbed the stairs with all his might. Even though he felt his hands were turning numb, he did not stop until he climbed the second floor. After climbing the second floor, Luo Shen peeped through the window only to be dumbfounded.

Inside the brightly lit room, Suzy…who was supposed to be lying unconscious was sitting on the bed while looking around the room curiously. Hearing some sound from the balcony, Suzy turned around only to find Luo Shen standing at the balcony with a dumbfounded expression.

Walking forward to open the door, Suzy asked in an amused tone "What are you doing here?"

Hearing Suzy's casual question, Luo Shen nearly forgot his purpose of following Suzy.

"You…you are awake? Weren't you unconscious?" Luo Shen asked with a dumbfounded expression

"Was I?" Suzy

Dumbfounded, Luo Shen thought that Suzy had short term memory loss. Stepping forwards, he put his hand on Suzy's forward and checked her temperature before asking her dumbfoundedly "Did you just forget what happened? are you alright? Do you have a fever? But I don't think so" While Luo Shen was mumbling to himself, Suzy felt more and more amused. Remembering their main purpose, Luo Shen shook his head and said "Ah…forget it. It's not the time for us to speak now. Let's get out from here first." With that said, he walked around the room once in search of something that could help him to get out through the balcony but no matter how much he searched, he could not find anything that was useful.

Turning towards Suzy, he said "Should we get out from here by climbing down the pipe?" but looking at how prettily Suzy was dressed and looking at her delicate hands and leg, he did not have the hurt to let her suffer, hence he shook his head and said "Forget it. You won't be able to climb down. Just follow me closely, okay?"

Curious to know what stunts her little brother would do to protect her, Suzy decided to play along with him and hence she nodded her head readily.

Walking towards the door, Luo Shen leaned his ears against the door and tried to listen to any moments outside the door. When he found no moments, he opened the door only leaving a small gap to observe the situation outside before opening it fully and made his way out.

Signaling Suzy to walk behind him quietly, he walked towards the end of the corridor. Just when he walked outside, he saw a mercenary guarding the corridor lazily. Motioning Suzy to stop on her track, he leaped forward and hit behind the mercenaries neck when he was off guard making the mercenary unconscious. Looking around carefully, he signaled Suzy to follow him again.

For some reason, Suzy felt especially thrilled being protected by Luo Shen. It felt like she was a kid who was being protected by her elder brother and she had to do nothing but only follow her brother as he cleared the path.

Giggling to herself, Suzy followed behind Luo Shen like a small girl.

When they walked down the stairs, they met a few more mercenaries but were then cleared by Luo Shen after exchanging some moves. While Luo Shen was fighting, Suzy was observing his skills and was a bit surprised. If well trained then there was no doubt that Luo Shen might become a skilled fighter.

Watching the surroundings carefully, Luo Shen along with Suzy finally reached the ground floor. Just when Luo Shen thought that they could escape from here, the large door was opened and a young man with a devilish smile walked inside followed by a group of mercenaries.

Seeing the arrival of those bulky men, Luo Shen's eyebrows furrowed. Well aware of his strength, Luo Shen was sure that even if he poured all his might and heart, he would not be able to take more than three men down.

"Haha…Ms. Suzy, your assistant is indeed very capable. Not only did he hide well, he was even able to follow you until here only to protect you. Good, I'm impressed"

Looking at Jiang Chu coldly, Luo Shen said "Jiang Chu, let sister Zy go right now or else….the consequences would not be good"

"Oh…really? Too bad, I indeed plan not to let you go" Jiang Chu replied with a smile.

"Jiang Chu, I'm warning you. If anything happens to sister Zy then don't even think of your future. If my brother in law gets to know about this then he wouldn't let go of you"

"Oh! Is it? What should I do…I'm scared? Hmm…since it's like this, then….none of you or going to leave this mansion. Let's see what your brother in law is capable off"

"Jiang Chu…..I'm warning you one last time. Let sister Zy go" Luo Shen yelled in rage

"Tsk tsk…young men, no matter how much ever time you tell me, I wont let anyone of you to step out of the villa" Then with a grin, he turned to look at Suzy who was standing on the stairs, being protected by Luo Shen. Seeing she looked perfectly alright, he asked in an amused tone "Why are you awake? According to the concentration of the chloroform you wouldn't be able to get up for more than two hours, but it has not even been an hour but your alright awake? And, you don't seem to look like you are drugged, but I was sure that you drank that wine. Hmm….forget it, I'll interrogate you about this later but now, let's finish this little brother"

With that said, he signaled his men to take down Luo Shen first. Among the group of men, two bulky men who were weaker than the other stepped forward to approach Luo Shen. Seeing the incoming attack, Luo Shen took a step backward and clenched his hands tightly and was ready to fight. As soon as the two bulk men approached him, he took them down with only a few moves.

Seeing the young man's fighting skill, Jiang CHu's eyes turned colder. Moving his hands, he signaled three more men to take but after exchanging a hundred moves, the three bulky men were found lying down. Seeing the unexpected outcome, Jiang Chu felt fear rising in his heart and hence signaled all his men to attack him together.

As the group of men approached together, including the one who were beaten up earlier, Luo Shen clenched his hands and gritted his teeth. Because of the earlier fight, he had already used more than half of his energy and he was sure that no matter what, he would not be able to take them down and hence, he turned to look at Suzy with red eyes and said "Sister Zy, after a while, I'll try my best to stop these men. At that time, take your chance and run away from here. No matter what, you should not stop. Don't worry about me…just….wlak out of this place safely. Okay" hearing Luo Shen's words, Suzy's eyes slightly turned red. At this moment, even though he was in danger, instead of fleeing he choose to protect her life in exchange for his. For some unknown reason, Suzy's heart started to ache slightly. This young man, whom she took in as a brother was only by her side for less than half a year but their bond was like that of sibling bound by blood.

Looking at Suzy's slightly red eyes, Luo Shen felt his throat turn sour but he still managed to put up a smile. Taking one last look of Suzy, he smiled and said "thank you"

As soon as he finished, he turned around and his smile disappeared and was replaced by a cold and murderous aura. Looking at those bulky men, Luo Shen went berserk and started to fight against them with his life.

But because of his weak strength, he was not able to fight for a long time against ten bulky men and hence, in no time, he was capture by those bulky men.

Two bulky men stood at each side holding Luo Shen's arms. Seeing that young men were caught by his men, Jiang Chu finally sighed in relief. Stepping forward, he looked at Luo Shen and sneered "Haha….what a strong man but too bad, you are going to turn into nothing in my hands" with that said, he lifted Luo Shen's head but as soon as he met Luo Shen's blood-red eyes and his cold murderous aura, he shivered and took a step back. Patting his chest, Jiang Chu looked at Luo Shen coldly and said: "Kill Him!"

"Yes sir"

With that said, a strong bulky man stepped forward and stood in front of Luo Shen, cracking his hands which were now craving for blood. "Young boy, happy journey"

With that said, he took a deep breath and pulled his hand backward and pushed his hand forward with full force.

Knowing that he could no longer live, Luo Shen remembered all those people who were kind to him and helped him a lot. There were only a few who had helped him and it did not take him much time to remember them all. He remembered his mother, his friends, his sister Zy who gave him a new life and… Xu Man. As soon as he remembered his fierce kitten, a pang of regret hit his heart. Only then did Luo Shen realize that….he was in love, with his fierce kitten but knowing that his life was about to end, he could only smile bitterly.

Closing his eyes, he inhaled deeply and waited for the hard blow which would end his life forever but even after a few seconds, Luo Shen did not feel anything. While he was confused, he heard a blood-curling scream of a grown-up man followed by female's cold words

"Who dares to kill my Little brother"
