Chapter 317 - Oh! it's that ugly doll..

In the living room, Chief officer Wang frowned when he heard the special force officer reporting one by one about their search. Even after searching through every corner, none of them found any clue that could help their case. Sighing, he thought "What a waste of time…"

"Precisely not" Turning around, they saw Suzy walking toward them holding a gift box in her hand.

Walking towards the tea table, Suzy opened the lid of the gift box and took out the little doll key bunch.

"Isn't this the ruined doll that we found in the girl's room?" Mr. Wang asked with a little confusion

"Yes it is"

"But how is this related to the case?"

"It is….in fact, this doll is connected to two cases and both the cases are in your hand right now"

"Two cases?"

" How does this doll connect with two cases? Can you please share your insight"

"Sure, but before that please look at this doll" with that said, Suzy passed the doll to chief officer Wang and asked "Mr. Wang, do you find anything abnormal?"

Nodding her head, Suzy took out the cell phone from her pocket and opened a photo from the gallery and passed it to Mr. Wang and said "Now, look at this photo and the doll"

"It looks similar right? When I saw this doll, I did not think much of it but then when I saw the body behind the cloth, I suddenly remembered the picture that I accidentally saw in the police station way back earlier. Those red marks and signs look exactly similar to the marks found on the corpse body. If my guess is right, this young girl is either the victim or the murderer. To find an answer for that we need to go to the girl's house right now"

Nodding his head seriously, Chief officer Wang looked at Suzy seriously and said "Okay. Let's head there now..."

"Mr. Wang, you don't have to accompany me, let Ms. Fie follow me. In the meantime, you can try to find the relationship between the two girls. If possible, it's better to investigate their friends and ask them if they have any idea about the other girl."

"Okay… I'll look into it now" turning around, he signaled the remaining officers to follow behind while the female officer and Suzy made their way towards the other girl's home.

After driving for half an hour, they reached the girl's house which was located in a crowded area.

Walking in through the gates, Since Suzy's face was covered and was a stranger to the latter, in order to not scare the other party, she let the female officer ring the bell and speak through the intercom. As soon as the other party recognized the female officer, they hurriedly opened the door and let them inside.

Bowing her head, the female officer introduced Suzy "She is a detective who is helping us solve a case and we are here to investigate something"

"Ah…please come in, come in"

Before the lady could step in, Suzy apologized and asked "Sorry to disturb you but can you please show us to Ms. X room? We need to search for something in there"

When she did not find anything useful in the room, she searched through the other rooms and hall but still couldn't find anything.

Sighing, the girls walked back to the living room and drank the tea served by the middle-aged women. Other than the middle-aged women, there was an old grandpa, a middle-aged man who was precisely the middle-aged woman's husband and two kids were playing in the next room

While drinking the tea, Suzy took out a photo from her pocket and passed it to the couples and said: "Have you ever seen this girl with your daughter?"

"No" the middle-aged woman who was precisely the one who knew her daughter the most said.

"Please look at it carefully….have you never seen this girl with your daughter or around your daughter?"

After taking a closer look, the middle-aged woman shook her head and denied "No, I have never seen her anywhere around nor did I see her with my daughter"

"then has Ms. X mentioned the name Y while chatting with you?"

Sighing, Suzy explained patiently "We can't"

"Wh-why? Why can't you investigate her? Please, I beg you. Please find the culprit behind my daughter's murder case…please" the middle-aged woman begged as tears filled with pain flowed through her eyes.

"Madam, please calm down. We will do our best to find the culprit and We are not able to investigate this girl because she has been missing from the past four days. When we went to investigate the place where she lived, we found this…" while speaking, Suzy took out a doll keychain and placed it on the table and asked "We found this in the girl's house. This looks similar to your daughter's...." afraid to evoke the painful memory Suzy did omitted the word corpse and continued "so, we have a hunch that this girl is either another victim or the murder. Madam, please look at this doll carefully. Do you remember your daughter bring home anything similar to this doll? Or did she receive any gift from anyone recently?"
