After lunch, Cedric and Brione went back outside.
"So is Wolf's Den a better name?" Brione asked as she sat on the blanket Cedric had laid on the flat side near the waterfall pool so they could sit and lie down comfortably.
Cedric laid down and looked at the sky then whispered, "Yeah it's fine. It sounds like the one living is not human."
Brione chuckled and said, "You like Wolves. I thought about Shadow and Moon when I suggested it. Not all people can be close to them like you are without proper training as wolves are not meant to be pets."
Cedric moved to his side to look at her and commented, "Precisely, so are you. How did you do that? Why didn't they attack you or show hostility?"
"I don't know, maybe because I was with you?"
Cedric laughed recalling a funny incident.
"What's so funny?" she asked with a pout.
"Well, Will almost peed on his pants when he met Shadow and Moon the first time. The wolves are always in attack mode so if a human makes one wrong move they would attack them without hesitation. It took a while before Will managed to recover from the trauma and later vowed not to enter this forest again," Cedric said.
"Really? That happened?" Brione asked while laughing and laughed even more when Cedric nodded. After calming down she shook her head and said, "I don't know why they didn't attack me either."
"Maybe they can sense that I like you very much. They are like my babies so they probably thought that you were their mommy?" Cedric said with a grin.
Brione only scoffed and mumbled, "How do you know that when you can't even talk to them?"
"I can understand them, Bri. All animals," Cedric whispered, making Brione laugh.
"Yeah right, so Wolf's Den is a good name for your hide-out." Brione casually said.
Cedric did not respond and whispered, "I don't like Wolf's den. It's not like the owner is a wolf. Let's call it The Prince's Secret Home."
"I strongly beg to disagree because you're like a wolf who always attacks me every opportunity you get. Or keep the word Den at least. Make it The Prince's Den, since you're like a wild animal," she voiced out loud, making Cedric laugh and say, "Okay fine. I'm guilty of it!"
Brione laughed together with him. She missed moments like this where she would have a good laugh with Gavin.
'Gavin! The birthmarks!' she recalled.
The sun's rays were getting too hot so Brione took this opportunity to execute her plan. She looked at Cedric and said, "Lie down on your back."
"Huh?" Cedric asked, confused with the sudden authoritative tone from her.
He was on his side so she held him and made him lay down on his stomach so his back would face her.
"Stay still, I will put some sunblock on your back. The sun is too hot and you will get sunburnt if you don't apply it," she said, trying to sound nonchalant.
"Me? Shouldn't you be the one who should apply sunscreen? How about you lie down and I'll apply it on you?" Cedric muttered.
"Yeah, you can apply it on my back after I'm done with yours," Brione mumbled as she hurriedly grabbed her sunblock from her backpack. She must see his butt and check it for any birthmarks!
Cedric smirked, knowing what was going inside Brione's head.
She squeezed the lotion and put it on his back first before spreading it all over.
'She's so eager to see my butt,' he thought amused. She put the lotion on his legs and spread it fully before her hands moved upward. He was curious to see if she really dared to pull his trunks down.
'She won't actually pull it down right?' he wondered with a frown. He was holding his breath because every touch of hers was like fire burning his skin.
He silently groaned when Brione's hands went up to his thighs. He felt like she was torturing him with her slow movements. It was as though she was somewhat hesitating to go further.
Cedric shook his head. At this rate, she would just end up tormenting him since she could not go further nor would she stop any time soon. He suddenly thought of an idea so he quickly rolled over to face her.
"Hey," Brion shouted.
Cedric chuckled and said, "I think you put enough sunblock on me, sweetheart."
'I failed,' Brione thought. It was easier said than done. When Berry proposed the idea she thought it would be a piece of cake but it was honestly very hard for her because she was not shameless enough to act like a pervert.
She felt that it would be a lot easier to directly ask him to strip but knowing how sly Cedric is, his stripping would definitely come with a price.
She would just try the game Berry proposed and ask him to strip.
"Let's go back…" she suddenly said.
"Hmm, alright. There's a storm coming anyway," Cedric suddenly said.
Brione's eyebrows furrowed as she said, "Storm?!"
She looked at the sky and frowned. The sun was very bright and there was not a single trace of a storm coming.
"Yeah a storm will be coming after an hour or two," Cedric said as he stood up and extended his hand to help her up from the blanket as well.
"How can you tell?" Brione asked, curious.
"The birds told me…" Cedric said with a smile.
"Huh? You talk to birds?" she mumbled, feeling that Cedric was playing a prank on her.
"Yeah…" he answered casually while he grabbed her backpack.
"You're weird," Brione mumbled.
"I know. That's what I think too…" he said with a serious tone as he watched Brione put her jeans and blouse back on.
"We can stay in my den overnight if you want," Cedric said as he too put his clothes back on.
"No, we can't. Mitch and I have a video meeting later with the producer of my new movie so I need to go back. Maybe we can stay here some other time."
Cedric smiled in satisfaction. He was very pleased hearing Brione suggested staying there on her own. He was definitely making progress and could not wait for the two of them to tie the knot!
