[Last night]

With a heavy heart full of guilt Sinclair stepped towards his room, the man dropped all his friends home and finally arrived back.

He gave a call to Elmore who immediately teleported into the human realm to aid his master. The trustworthy guard instinctively hurried to reach for his Lord, and when Sinclair was waiting a mile away from Xander's mansion.

Elmore emerged out of nowhere close to him in the form of a smoke which further was forged into his body.

"How many times have I told you not to teleport like this."

Sinclair unleashed his anger on the poor soul, while he leaned against the bonnet of his Bugatti. Elmore bowed apologetically with one hand raised and placed on his heart.

"I'm sorry, my Lord but reflexively it happened and I could not control myself."

Luckily the guard was not in his original attire which gave off 'dangerous death' vibes, instead he was wearing a shirt and pants.

"It's okay, drive me home."

He was used to visit the realm of living thus knew the ethics and etiquettes of dealing, driving his lord back to home was just a piece of cake.

"Yes, my lord."

He settled himself in the car as Sinclair took his seat, it was late at night about four, he did not care that anyone could see them both using magic.

But to their surprise a shadow saw them both and grinned as if he was happy with the task he accomplished.

As they both drove off and the luxurious car dusted onto the road, the shadow camouflaged in the darkness disappeared.

"My lord, I'm alarmed by your state."

Elmore questioned placing forward his suspicion that something was definitely wrong with his lord.

He could only speak that much yet he knew Sinclair would spit everything on his own, and that was what the mighty lord did.

"Elmore...I...a girl back there in the bar…Oh heavens!"

Elmore clearly noticed his hands shaking as he was twitching his fingers, which was the second time in all those years.

"I cheated on Syna, Elmore…unknowingly and unintentionally I cheated on her."

Finally the lord spilled the beans, he sounded weak as if he pushed down a hard lump in his throat.

The car halted with a jerk.

"WHAT!?"

Elmore was staring at him, with mouth wide open and eyes darted onto his face. It was hard for him to believe what 'sin' his master had committed.

"B-but how?"

He kept quiet for a few seconds, believing that his ears misheard but then raised his question upon seeing Sinclair sitting his head thrown a little above the glove compartment.

"I do not even know how it happened. I just woke up to that 'terrific sight' of waking up beside an unknown woman."

Sinclair sounded so low, at the moment he was no more than an ordinary human being.

He was fully aware that if Syna continued to refuse him like that he will eventually die, as one fourth of his powers were already drained.

He needed to marry her because half of his powers were sealed and could only be awakened by marrying his bride, or else he would lose the remaining half.

"Anything unusual, my lord? Because I'm sure you would not do that in a sane mind."

Elmore was the only person who knew about Syna's rejection and her abduction.

While his sister, Madeleine was in an illusion that the duo had a quarrel and the lady still loved him rather was in denial, and that is why master Sinclair caged her.

Upon his words Sinclair clicked on the sudden headache that rose in his head out of the blue.

"Oh, yes. A sudden headache. That means someone tried to tamper with my head and cast a spell on me!"

After muddling deeply he glanced at Elmore who nodded in agreement.

"I will find out, my lord. You have to talk to the queen."

He decent man suggested him intellectually.

"Mhm."

Sinclair murmured and Elmore began to drive again.

The thumping of the boots  were audible in that quiet mansion, the door opened with a creak as he pushed his body forward towards the bed with black coat hung on his arm and threw himself on bed with legs dangling down and touching the carpet.

The heavy effect of the spell faded when he saw that blood spot previously but by the time Sinclair reached home he was in his complete senses, all awake and back to normal.

His mind was still stuck upon what happened. He brushed his blonde hair back and wiped the sweat from his face, his heart was racing fast, how he was going to explain Syna.

He planned to meet her tomorrow morning but the 'sin' he committed perhaps delayed his plans as he did not know how to face his bride, who was her mate since she was born.

Meanwhile, how could he forget that he stole someone's FIRST TIME when she was under a spell and not in a position to resist or to stop him, he hurt an innocent and accordingly he needed to take the responsibility.

Sinclair stood up and went to take a shower, he was living under the same roof as Syna but many things occurred in the past two days that he could not muster up the courage to even peek.

All he did was call Madeleine and ask about Syna, the lady informed her about how she saw the queen weeping all night, that she made her fall asleep by crying.

The luke warm water washed off everything from his body, but the guilt was still on his mind and despair in his heart.

Tucking his one hand to the grey wall he leaned a bit as the water was flowing on his muscular shoulders while his mind was running.....

Occupied with various thoughts and pondering upon every single thing he did, somehow the night made the arrogant and powerful lord to think and repent!
