Chapter 76 - May I Ask Who Are You?

Syna became red, flustered and redder while Sinclair was peeking at her, taking the sight as a delight. Although Syna took the initiative to do something romantic but was not aware that she would be facing a beast, who was trying hard to tame his restless desires.

"Gaze into my darkened eyes; see a naked city in back alleys under a cloudy sky; strawberry kisses to thy neck; cherished grasps as thy hips move; lust and love mix; steam escapes through bronzed curtains; on my wild and cold streets;"

Sinclair held her from the waist and pulled her closer as the swiveled chair crept close to him with a creaking sound, which left Syna completely off guard.

Their bodies came closer where he could feel her heartbeat getting faster as their heads were only a few inches apart, their warm breaths fanned each other's faces, Syna could feel hers becoming raspy as every single cell in her tingled under his assault.

Despite controlling and scolding himself a million times he could not get a hold of the beast within him which was again coming out, that desired for her body and loathed for intimacy. The lord could feel something poking and itching in his tight denim, he knew that it had become hard now nearly impossible to wait for her anymore.

Sinclair leaned a bit as his raspy breath fanned over her face, his nose touched her tip. He could fathom her heart racing fast as her breath became uneven gradually due to such closeness, a meek smile graced his face.

At one point he was happy about the situation they were in but at the same time he became embarrassed about his own body condition, he needed a cold shower immediately to calm himself.

"Like a secret waterfall flowing beautifully in an untouched cove; stripes on a swooning dragon hidden behind its charred foes; Oh my beloved thee makes my heart mellifluously sing; thy eyes on fire and thy lips on mine….."

"Oh such sweet waters would my life swim; a haunting apparition I thought I saw; her majestic silhouette came close; woke me up at night like a lovers yearn; she went right through me like a delicate muslin cloth through hail storms; gave rise to my heroic words in this world of lost lores;"

Dumbstruck Syna did not know how to react, she was caged between his arms as Sinclair held both the armrest of the chair leaving no room for her to escape from his clutches.

His sensual touch was serving as the tranquilizer, although she didn't mind any of his act because that was what she wanted herself. The mate bond and marking was working it's magic that Syna loathed and craved for his touch.

The poison of love was intoxicating her mind now, the bride's fragile heart was already filled with the venom of the Lord's love, that her body had already submitted itself to him and now her soul was also close to it's submission.

The lord craved the taste of her sweet lips as he leaned with the intention of assaulting that pink fleshy part, while Syna scrunched shut her eyes waiting for him to take the charge.

But their office romance got interrupted by the sudden knock on CEO's cabin. Someone was deliberately playing the role of third wheel, as the personal lackeys passed the information about Syna and her barging into Sinclair's office.

Syna stepped back immediately not knowing how to react in that awkward situation and in hesitation she grabbed her handbag haphazardly and headed to the cabin door.

"Ah! I should get going it's late and you must be busy. Have a good day."

She placed her hand in door knob but before pushing it to leave, she ebbed and properly greeted him.

"Haha! As you wish sweety, tomorrow I will be back soon okay, don't forget to wait for me at dinner."

Sinclair meaningfully winked at her with an evil lop side grin, that caused Syna blush all over again, she felt her ears fuming with embarrassing situation as a hot gush of sensational waves circulated in her body, she pushed the glass door and left the cabin.

"The hands made of Sunflower promises envelope me blissfully in thy fragrance; I simply do not want to be a nights catch in thy web and neither a remnant collection of a precious gilded painting; Shall we not be that first sensual kiss forever; when such heated chalices evaporated out lost tears forever;"

And there came Ms Braille Matteo, she was about to enter the cabin of Sinclair when both the ladies bumped into each other which caused her to drop a few things.

"Oh! I'm so sorry. Let me help you in picking up the things."

Syna felt embarrassed at her clumsiness so she started helping her immediately at the entrance of the cabin. She forced a smile on her face and started gathering her dropped things which included a few files and her handbag that had opened it's mouth and to puke everything out.

"It's okay. I was at fault for not paying attention. By the way, may I ask who are you?"

Braille Matteo became curious all of a sudden about the lady who just emerged out of Sinclair's cabin.

She eyed Syna through the corner of her sockets and a volcano erupted in her body, a sudden rage infused with jealousy circulated in her body. Her eyes flashed blue but luckily Syna didn't see as she was busy picking up the things. Braille wanted to wring her neck, how dare she seduce his Sinclair!

"Huh? Me? I'm the current personal assistant of Mr MacLaverty."

The naive bride did a wonderful job by answering her either way. Otherwise Braille would not have refrain to kill her at the very spot, after all how could she share her man with someone else.

"Ah! Sinclair, I'm sorry for being late....."

Braille picked up her stuff and intentionally said while stuffing the things back into her bag. She wanted to manifest that the Lord belonged to her and no slut could steal him.

Syna became stunned after listening to 'Sinclair' instead of addressing him as 'boss'. Braille's behaviour triggered many questions in her mind that caused her to clench her fists but she preferred to have him home first.

Although the door was closed when Braille started her muttering and as she pulled the knob, the lady dashed in instantly giving a deadly glare to Syna.

"See you around, bye."

Syna forced a sarcastic smile and chipped a bit loud as Braille went inside, as if the bride was challenging Braille to check, to whom the mighty Lord belonged and who was his beloved.

"Neither now I fear; nor now I shed a tear; it were old days that I chose to bear; now my vision is clear; all thanks to the wolves to whom I was dear; that I'm no longer thy deer;"

Unlike the queen she was in her previous life Syna had the flexibility to mould herself into a better lady, she was born with a personality resembling the smooth and calm waves of ocean rather with the element of fire which destroyed them both in past life.

If she were in the past and in the same situation she would have never believed Sinclair and didn't let him explain rather the queen would have taken a decision rationally, in anger and must have done something terrible.

The queen would have rather trusted her ears and eyes regardless of how much the king had tried to clear up the misunderstandings. She had worn her crown straight in arrogance and would never believe anyone else but trusted her own instincts.
