After his question, Atlas noticed Mitra's expression shift to sorrow as she listened. She reached out and drew him into a gentle hug, her voice loving and reassuring. "We lost a boy your age, you know. We'd be honored to adopt you until you leave the city. For such a short time, we have grown fond of you."

When Atlas heard Mitra's words, he nodded and smiled, ''What happens if I never return to Tajariyah City?''

"Something tells me you'll return one day once you've been on a great adventure," Mitra said, her eyes soft with hope and understanding.

She paused, then added with a twinkle of curiosity, "Now, are you going to show me your real face? I swear by all the gods that I won't tell a soul."

Atlas looked at her with a raised eyebrow, ''How did you know?'' he questioned.

"Do you have a scan skill? If my hunch is right, you do," Mitra replied with a knowing smile.

He became nervous but decided to trust the woman and deactivated the Maskweaver Skill, causing her smile to grow wider as she muttered, ''The Masiha-ye Bargozideh is real, An Ke Rah Ra Neshan Midahad.''

''The who who points the way?'' Atlas asked.

Mitra nodded with a giggle, ''I can't believe we're harboring the Great Dahaka in our inn,'' she said before standing up. ''Just make sure the Immortals don't see you; they can see through disguises.''

The older woman said her goodbyes, kissed him on the forehead and left the room. This situation confused him, but he was soon distracted when Amethyst sent him the daily message.

[We are on the road heading north. The Achaemenidians are targeting me because we're connected, but Estelle and the others are keeping us ahead of them. I can't wait to see you again Azhar'Zul. I hope you're okay, and I miss you]

Atlas smiled when he saw the Phoenix Girl's message. Before replying, he told her everything he had been up to and how much he had missed her. Then, he started eating the breakfast Mitra had brought him.

He started planning the day's events and decided to check out the Shattered Chasm Dungeon before trying to conquer the Silverpeak Swamp and the horrible monsters that called it home.

Then, Atlas checked his status, knowing he had leveled up several times during the recent events.

'Oh nice, two spells and a skill leveled up,' Atlas thought while eating some of the breakfast that Mitra called Khagineh.

The food reminded him of an omelet with herbs and meat, but he found it delicious. As the excitement built up, he pondered, 'Two more levels until I rank up.'

After that, Atlas finished eating breakfast and drinking the Chai Tea Mitra left for him. He had to add some sugar cubes to make it taste better. 'This is delicious. I should buy more and keep it in my storage,' he mused.

Once Atlas finished the tea, he left the inn after saying goodbye to Mitra and Babak, who waved at him. The older woman gave him a paper bag before leaving, ''Here's some lunch so you won't starve; I know you're going into the dungeons,'' she said with a motherly tone. He was still confused but deeply appreciated the experience, as it had been years since he had felt something akin to this. Atlas thanked the woman before departing, and as he summoned his gear, the sight left passersby astonished.

Atlas knew the Shatter Chasm was in the northern part of Tajariyah and headed that way while people watching. The one thing he noticed was the increased presence of the Achaemenid soldiers.

He even spotted several Nightowls prowling the streets, but that's when he spotted the Immortals. Their devil-like masks sent chills down his spine, causing Atlas to shake his head and quicken his walk to the dungeon while avoiding the creepy soldiers.

It took him half an hour to reach the entrance to the Shattered Chasm Dungeon. When the guards spotted him approaching, the commander stepped forward and asked firmly, ''Can I see your guild card, young man?''

Atlas handed it over, causing the man to glance at it before asking, ''You do know the highest rank monster is the boss, which is C+. Can you handle that?''

He nodded, answering, ''I was the adventurer who discovered the Deathly Hollows.''

When Atlas declared that he remembered his reward, he decided to go to the guild after finishing the dungeon. He shook his head as the guard commander replied with the same firm voice: ''Even so. You must be careful in the chasm. Many of the monsters are dangerous even if they are low-ranked.''

''I will watch my back while thinking about everything,'' Atlas replied, causing the man to nod in agreement.

The commander returned the card before the other soldiers opened the gate, where a portal was a few feet away. Atlas approached it while readying his weapons and stepped through the translucent doorway.

Atlas appeared in an old, broken mining operations center that had looked abandoned for decades, as dust covered everything. While standing there, a young woman's voice appeared in his mind, 'Dungeon Conquerer! You finally came. When I sensed you in the city above, I knew you would come to free me from the loneliness.'

'Yes, I conquered Deathly Hollows recently but need to complete this dungeon and the Silverpeak Swamp one before moving on,' Atlas internally replied.

Following that, the two of them continued to speak, but the Dungeon Master was restricted from giving him any help. Atlas stopped asking after a while before he started hearing chittering heading in his direction.

Atlas readied his weapons and spells as a swarm of black ants emerged from the nearby tunnel. Their sharp mandibles clicked ominously, prompting him to take a step back. The relentless creatures closed in, forming a tight circle around him.

Before they could attack, he scanned them using Void Sight on the monsters.

When Atlas saw the advice, he started casting Void Barrage multiple times, causing the chamber to light up with a beautiful blue glow before the spell launched as the swarm of ants.

The mana blasts slammed into dozens of creatures, causing them to curl up dead as the blue flames washed over them. Loads of orange Monster Cores fell to the floor as the corpses were absorbed back into the dungeon.

Following that, Atlas killed several monsters that survived his first attack before collecting fifty cores. The experience poured into his body, causing him to level up a few times as something inside clicked.

'I ranked up,' he thought with a big smile before rechecking his status.

'Yes!' Atlas internally celebrated but realized it was getting harder to level up.

Following that, he walked down the tunnel the ants came from while waiting for any more attacks, but nothing happened. Atlas then stepped into a large chamber covered in weird blue grass, which didn't make sense as he was inside a dungeon.

'Dungeons are strange places,' he wondered. 'I will never get used to them.'

Grass stretched in all directions, giving him no clue, but an arrow hit his helmet from behind. Atlas spun around and cast a Void Bullet at the culprit, who happened to be a goblin sneaking up on him.

That's when Atlas spotted dozens of the creatures closing in on him. He quickly scanned them.

Atlas started casting Void Barrage, which slammed into the incoming monsters and caused explosions. He readied Nightblade before darting forward and ramming the sword into a Goblin's head as he spun to slash another.

The battle erupted, with Atlas swiftly gaining the upper hand. His superior speed left the goblins struggling to keep up. He effortlessly cut through the weaker creatures, his growing boredom evident as he continued the relentless slaughter.

When Atlas finally finished, all twenty-three Cave Goblins lay defeated. Their bodies were absorbed into the dungeon, leaving behind the black Monster Cores, which he promptly began collecting.

Among the loot, he found one hundred copper coins, which he stashed away in his Dimensional Storage. Atlas continued to fight some rank G Gaint Rats who attacked him when he was nearing the stairs to the next level.

Upon entering the second level, Atlas found himself in narrow tunnels barely wide enough for a carriage. With only one path ahead, he moved cautiously, prepared for any attacks that might come his way.

While walking down the dark tunnel, Atlas started to feel the ground rumbling, which caused him to jump to the side. A creepy worm-like monster appeared from the freshly opened hole and tried to bite, but he fired several Void Blasts.

The newcomer dropped to the ground while thrashing around, which allowed him to scan it.
