Chapter 128 Bid War for the Main Villains!

Roy ignored the weird glances thrown his way.

He was in a world of his own, lost in deep thoughts.

‘Chaos managed to transform them into its sword and ice. I should be able to do it too. But it’s just that this time, they won’t be causing destruction and helping Chaos grow. They will be following my orders to prevent doomsday. They will work for me and the good of the world and destroy the temples of Chaos, kill its servants and believers and eradicate all signs of its existence in Far West.’

Far West needed to be saved from the hands of Chaos Because without a world, how would he or any other human survive?

Thus, just like how it provides for every living being, he had to help it unconditionally.

Roy leaned back to sit more comfortably and crossed his legs. His gaze didn’t leave Maya and Aydin even for a second. He planned to buy them for a cheaper price after the auction. If no one buys them, they would be taken as worthless. Then, it would be easy to negotiate with Alfonso to decrease their price. A 1000 coins might be enough.

“Only a fool would pay in gold for them. Even if you give these slaves to me for free, I’ll not accept them. Besides, no one is interested in buying them. Why don’t you do us all a favor and save our time by putting them aside and bringing out the next item?” A guest said to Alfonso.

This guest was then first assaulted by Alfonso’s stern gaze and then stabbed by a sharp voice.

“You don’t want them. Since when did that mean no one else does?”

The guest turned to look at the source of these words. He saw a young man called Donovan looking down at him from a private box. Guests in the private box were naturally people of status. The guest in the seating area didn’t want to offend him, and hence, he turned on the profanity filter.

“Y-you want to buy these… wastes?”

“Wastes?” Donovan chuckled. “They are better than that. Look at their face and figure… They are so fresh and pretty, just like a fresh flower. Keke, it’ll be a waste not to sniff them, and….” He licked his lips. “Find out what they taste like. 7000 gold coins. That’s what I am willing to fork out to add them to my harem.”

Goosebumps were felt by Aydin and Maye when they heard him, and they trembled like terrified rabbits.

This guy was disgusting. Except for like-minded fellows, everyone felt this way about him.

Alfonso knew what he would do to the slaves if he won them. If possible, he didn’t want to sell these slaves to a sex maniac. But he was just a manager and, most importantly, a businessman. Profit above all that was the first thing he was taught, and it has been his way of life since!

He stuck the hammer on the table.

“7000 going once!”

“7000 going Twice!”

Just as Alfonso was about to seal the deal, someone on a private box shouted: “7501 gold coins!”

“8500!” Donovan tried to outbid him.

“9001!”

“10000!”

“10501!”

10500 gold coins for two slaves that no one wanted to buy was a ridiculous price!

“Fuck, you’re willing to go against the Sorens for these slaves?!”. He openly threatened the person in the opposite private box, not knowing that it was a Count’s son. Sorens was a noble family that dealt in trade but didn’t have noticeable heroes. It was way under the Baldwins. One-tenth of their business was actually supported by the Baldwins.

Roy: “…” ‘I can’t let you have them because you’re the fucking reason why they would become the major villains and become one of the trump cards of Chaos, you shithead.’

It didn’t take a genius to understand that. Of course, Roy couldn’t yell that out as everyone would take him as either crazy or question him why he knew what was going to happen in the future.

He didn’t want to think about what would happen then.

“Bastard, you have a meat stick for brain cells!”

Though, Roy did voice out a part of his thoughts.

What he said was something everyone wanted to say but didn’t because they didn’t want to offend an important guest of the Jade Branch.

“Did you just curse at me?” Donovan gnashed his teeth, looking rather vicious.

“I… see. You’re dumb but also deaf. I didn’t only curse but also made fun of you! I feel sorry for your parents for having a son like you. Are they still alive? Because if you were born in my family, I would have killed myself.”

Fire! Roy had set Donovan ablaze with his words.

‘What did the Sorens Lad do to anger him?’ Arlo didn’t know what would happen in the future.

He didn’t know that two innocent souls would become corrupt and kill tens of millions of people because of Donovan.

But Roy knew. That’s why he couldn’t help but diss him.

Heck, he even wanted to jump to the private box on the opposite side and cut his dick off, but he didn’t, as that would get him locked up.

Even though he was the Count’s son, he couldn’t kill others without a legitimate reason.

Donovan tried to see who it was, but the privacy barrier stopped him from bearing witness to Roy. “Bastard, running your mouth while hiding in the private box doesn’t mean you can offend a noble and get away with it scot-free. I’m a Soren. What you’re doing is the same as picking a fight with me! So stop. Or things will get ugly. You don’t want to mess with me, trust me.”

Roy retorted, “What thing are you? Ah… I know. Let me sum you up with two sentences. You’re a person who knows how to court death for himself and others. And you’re lacking in intelligence. Soren might become Run Down because they have a retard like you! If you got money to increase the bid, do it. If not, just shut the fuck up and stick a stick in your mouth. Why are you cawing like a crow? Do you not realize your voice is ugly like your face and thoughts?”

These words of Roy stabbed through the young man’s heart and pierced into his soul. He wasn’t wrong. A man who was the biggest part of the reason why millions of people died in the novel would surely become the death of his family too. Besides, his voice was sharp, and he had crooked teeth that protruded from his mouth and covered his bottom lip. Hearing his voice would make anyone feel that they were stabbed, and seeing his face was enough to give one nightmare.
