“Ghost mandarin ducks?”

“Yes, mandarin ducks come in pairs, loving and affectionate, isn’t that nice?”

With a strange tone containing infinite tenderness, Yao Yue gently wiped away Youyou’s tears, her movements unhurried, not caring at all that the more she wiped, the more tears flowed.

“I’ve been thinking about it, and I still think it’s better for us to become a ghost couple. After all, little Youyou, you’re just too lovable. I can’t kill everyone, so I’ll just have to kill you, right, little Youyou?”

Lying on the crimson bed, the delicate girl possessed an unparalleled beauty that seemed not of this world. Yao Yue believed she had seen countless beauties in her lifetime, but none had ever captured her heart like this, causing her to fall completely.

She felt that she had already given her utmost tenderness and affection to her, but why did she seem not to care at all and even mistreat her constantly?

Bending down to meet Youyou’s gaze up close, Yao Yue brought the dagger even closer, deliberately lowering her voice to a tone that sounded to Youyou like the voice of a vengeful ghost demanding a soul.

“Little girl, are you afraid of death?”

Are you afraid of death…

With a moment of confusion in her expression, Youyou timidly replied.

“Yes.”

“Tsk, I’m scared too.”

Slightly squinting her eyes, Yao Yue licked her lips as if savoring something. “But, just the thought of Youyou dying also excites me.”

Youyou:……

The two of them were very close, so close that Youyou could feel Yao Yue’s breath. Holding her chin high, Youyou gazed quietly at Yao Yue’s beautiful and delicate face, her teary eyes hesitating for a moment before she kissed Yao Yue’s chin, acting coquettish.

“Don’t kill me, okay? I’ll marry you as my wife.”

“Once you’re dead, there’ll be nothing left of you. You won’t even become a ghost.”

“Isn’t it better to live lovingly? Why choose death?”

Although Youyou’s cognitive capacity was limited, and she didn’t like to think too much, she still understood the meaning of “ghost mandarin ducks.”

So Yao Yue wanted to kill her to make them a pair of ghost mandarin ducks. Youyou sniffed, suddenly feeling that Yao Yue was even dumber than her.

Obviously, they could get married while they were alive, so why should they have to die?

Pouting with a sense of grievance, Youyou shifted uncomfortably and awkwardly said, “Really, I’ll talk to Bai Qu, and we can get married soon. Although you’re a woman and can’t bear children to carry on the family line, Bai Qu won’t mind.”

Even though Bai Qu had mentioned the importance of carrying on the family line for the Bai family, if her partner was Yao Yue, Youyou still preferred to let Baiqu and Su Ling handle that.

Youyou genuinely liked Yao Yue. Yao Yue was beautiful, had a good figure, and treated her well.

But why did she want to kill her?

And Yao Yue had been stunned ever since Youyou kissed her.

She listened blankly to Youyou’s words, her head feeling a bit dizzy.

How could this be possible? The little lady said she wanted to marry her as her wife? And she said she’ll do it soon? Shaking her head, Yao Yue reached out and covered Youyou’s mouth, preventing her from hearing any more disturbing words. “You’re really cunning, Youyou.”

With a tone that was somewhat grating, Yao Yue blamed herself for being so easily influenced by the person beneath her.

Truly annoying.

“In order to survive, you even dared to utter such words.”

Why would she marry her? Bai Qu would agree? This girl was deceiving her.

Uh-huh, she was clearly speaking the truth, tears welled up in her eyes as Youyou struggled incessantly. But in Yao Yue’s eyes, her behavior seemed like that of someone with a guilty conscience.

“What’s this, is Youyou so afraid of death? That’s really disappointing,” Yao Yue’s chilly lips landed on the corner of Youyou’s eye, and she extended her tongue to lick Youyou’s salty tears. In her eyes was a look that Youyou could barely decipher. “I thought you were ready to die long before you started playing games with me.”

There was a pause in her tone as Yao Yue looked coldly at Youyou and said,

“After everything is exposed, prepare to die by my hand.”

Youyou:……

She really didn’t!

Sweat beaded on her forehead as Youyou tried to speak with her tongue against Yao Yue’s palm. Surprisingly, Yao Yue actually moved her hand away.

“Cough, cough, ahem, Yao Yue, I really didn’t lie to you, really, I really like you.”

Afraid that it might be too late and that Yao Yue would really kill her, Youyou was more anxious than she had ever been. She didn’t want to die, especially not by being stabbed with a dagger or having her throat slit.

That’s such a terrible way to go out.

“I’ve already told Bai Qu that I like you, really. If you don’t believe me, you can go ask Bai Qu. Su Ling knows too, really.”

Uttering several “really”s in a row, Youyou was afraid that Yao Yue wouldn’t believe her. However, Youyou had never considered that her words, in this moment and in this situation, lacked credibility.

But, Yao Yue was also a peculiar person. Her focus had always been elusive, like now, where the first keyword she grasped was surprisingly Su Ling.

“Su Ling?”

It would seem that Youyou has quite a few men she’s getting involved with, hm?

The rising murderous intent made Yao Yue increasingly unable to control herself. How could she have imagined that she would fall in love with a player?

And furthermore, to obtain her, she needed to die together with her in a love pact!

Yao Yue could almost foresee that she was about to become a huge joke throughout the entire Wuxiang Continent.

The tingling sensation in her heart persisted, but Yao Yue forcibly suppressed it. Her palm, restless from the girl’s licking, tightened around the dagger in her hand.

“Yeah, Su Ling is Xuan Ling. He’s very powerful.”

Pouting slightly, Youyou thought a little and added,

“But my brother is the most powerful.”

“The only one I need to tell is my brother. Su Ling’s opinion doesn’t matter.”

Yao Yue:…….

Her pupils contracted, and Yao Yue remained silent for a while before asking in a hoarse voice with a wooden expression, “Who is your brother? Don’t tell me his name is Bai Qu?”

“But he is Bai Qu.”

With a sniffle of frustration, Youyou reiterated once again.

“Yao Yue, please don’t kill me, okay? I really like you. Bai Qu and Su Ling already know about you. Bai Qu mentioned before that my partner would marry into our family. If you don’t like that, then I can marry into your family. And besides, ghost mandarin ducks don’t exist. There are no ghosts in this world. It’s not worth it to kill me…”

While Youyou continued murmuring endlessly, Yao Yue belatedly realized that she had broken out in a cold sweat, and her entire back was soaked through.

A hint of elusive cunning flickered in her eyes as Yao Yue loosened her grip on the dagger and stared at Youyou with an almost critical gaze, making Youyou extremely nervous.

“Actually…”

Deliberately pausing, Yao Yue piqued the girl’s curiosity. She lazily fluttered her eyelashes, as if she wasn’t particularly concerned about the matter. “Actually, I could let you go, but you have to promise me something and ensure you’ll do it.”

“What is it?”

“Please me.”

Seeing the initial eagerness that gave way to a dumbfounded expression, Yao Yue raised the dagger high and traced a graceful arc in the air, threatening starkly, “Please me, like I did to you before, or die, with this knife.”

Her face flushed bright red, Youyou looked at Yao Yue in disbelief, feeling both embarrassed and angry. She couldn’t bring herself to utter that word “okay”.

“What’s the matter? You keep saying you like me, and that you want to marry me, but in the end, you can’t even do this small thing?”

Chuckling self-deprecatingly, Yao Yue’s expression turned sorrowful, as if she had been deeply wounded. “Oh, right, you’re the Holy Maiden of the Saint Lin Palace, the most beautiful woman in the world. Your brother is the White Tiger Emperor, and you know important and powerful figures like Xuan Ling. As for me, I’m just a small sect leader of the Demon Cult. It’s normal for me to be bullied by you. I shouldn’t have had any expectations.”

The glamourous woman’s face showed sorrow, and her once starry gaze seemed to sim as if crushed, which made Youyou’s heart ache. Suddenly, in a weak, barely audible voice, she uttered, “Okay.”

“Really? You’re not just being perfunctory with me?

A glint of excitement flashed in her eyes as she raised the knife and cut off the red veil that bound Youyou’s wrists. “If it’s true, then show me.”

Lying gracefully on the bed, Yao Yue pointed to her lips, lazily commanding, “Kiss me. Only then will I believe you, and let you go.”

Youyou moved her wrists and then proceeded to untie the rope from her feet.

Yao Yue remained silent, not uttering a word to stop her, but her heart grew colder and colder.

“Yao Yue.”

Once freed from her restraints, Youyou immediately climbed onto Yao Yue’s body. She affectionately hugged Yao Yue’s arm and planted a kiss on her chin, saying, “Yao Yue, I really do like you. I like you so much.”

The girl’s lips were slightly moist, carrying a sweet fragrance. Yao Yue was momentarily entranced by the fleeting sensation of softness and coolness, leaving her lost in thought.

For a moment she forgot her words.

This version of Yao Yue seemed harmless, almost naive and cute in a silly way.

Youyou boldly leaned on Yao Yue, and her soft, sweet lips pressed against Yao Yue’s. Mimicking Yao Yue’s earlier demeanor, she slipped her tongue into Yao Yue’s mouth, exploring her mouth while playfully interacting with Yao Yue’s tongue.

These actions stirred up an irresistible passion, leaving her unable to control herself.

Pressing down on the back of Youyou’s head, Yao Yue turned the tables and became the aggressor. Regaining her senses, Yao Yue’s movements were fierce, with both of their ink-like long hair scattered messily on the crimson bed, making them indistinguishable from each other.

After the kiss ended, Youyou’s eyes were glazed, her lips flushed, her body soft as water. As for Yao Yue, she too was somewhat breathless.

Holding the girl’s head tightly to prevent her from seeing her own loss of composure, Yao Yue squinted and looked around the layers of curtains at the bedside. After her body had calmed down a bit, she released Youyou to move: “Continue kissing.”

Wearing a deliberately cold expression, Yao Yue pulled Youyou onto her body and disdainfully curled her lips. “You don’t think that’s enough, do you?”

“Hugging and kissing, none of it is allowed to be missing.”

“There’s also the issue of time, it must be long.”

“If you dare to faint halfway through, I’ll kill you immediately.”

Speaking with a serious tone and inappropriate words, Yao Yue looked extremely fierce, startling Youyou, who looked especially cute.
