For the guards in the house, the day started normally like any other one.
In order to make sure that there was no leak about the locations of the base they had to keep communication with the outside to a strict minimum. Furthermore, it was impossible to join them more than twice a week to check up on their condition and bring the food and water they would need.
Even after all this, there are additional security measures. After all, from the outside, this house simply looked like a normal mansion made by some rich man in search of fame or a fan of the hedonist life.
The 'owner' of the house was someone who would throw parties regularly and acted like he wanted as many people to know about him as possible.
They said that it was easy to hide a tree in a forest. The principle was the same. By acting as conspicuously as possible, he was able to make sure that no one would notice them.
"*Yawn* This is so boring. I wish something would happen."
One of the guards, a man wearing a complete suit with a pair of black glasses complained after hiding a yawn.
They only made fake parties a few times every month as such, they didn't really have much else to do outside of standing here and observing the surroundings.
Sadly, even the surroundings were boring. There was nothing more than dust, sand and rock under a terrible sun all year around. Not really the most diverse wildlife.
"Hey. Still acting bored?"
A second man approached the first guard causing him to raise an eyebrow. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at your post?"
The second man shrugged, "I mean. You know very well that nothing happens in this godforsaken place."
"Heh, true. But the salary is good and the job is easy. So we can't complain too much, I guess?"
"Of course, of course. Just, I heard what you said under your breath. Heh, you wished that something interesting would happen, right?"
"Well…Yeah. I wouldn't mind excitement."
"Heh….Then look behind you."
The first man was confused but when he turned as was told, his eyes opened wide in surprise and terror.
A large projectile was rushing fast toward them.
'Fuck!'
"We need to evacuate."
"I am sorry."
The first man was unable to react as if he felt something enter the base of his nape.
"Ah…"
His last thought was the body of the one he thought was his companion morphed into a more petite body with a devilish smile.
"Be careful about what you wish for."
This was followed by a large explosion that engulfed everything in its path.
—--
[Warning! Warning! Warning!]
A red alert sound filled the surroundings with its glaring light and the shrill sound of the alarm.
The base had more than thirty guards all considered and they all reacted instantly.
"Fuck! How are the shields?"
"The ward was blasted! Also, There are five of us who are not responding anymore."
The leader gritted his teeth and began giving orders. "The location was breached, enemy force unknown. We follow red protocols. Start moving the merchandise while we stall for time."
They immediately took their guns, swords, and other such weapons while wearing their armor.
They had received a very strict training about what to do in case of attack and they wouldn't get flustered just yet.
"Let's go!"

In the upper part of the house, Mammoth was walking with leisurely steps while holding his two rifles and smoking his cigars. His glasses keep flashing as Hacker traced and determined the most correct path for him to shoot at. It was like having an auto-aim in an FPS game.
Furthermore, while he advanced under fire, no bullets ever reached him.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"
One of the men screamed while shooting like there was no tomorrow but it was to no avail.
"How futile."
What they couldn't see was that whenever the bullets came close to Mammoth, thin threads would move and slice them until all that was left was nothing more than a small bit or even dust for that matter.
"Heh, only a bunch of small fry. Thanks for the protection, Spider."
Nikola nodded. Mammoth was worthy of his name and had a great mastery of Prana that gave him a steel-like body. But it would be idiotic for him to tank those bullets with his body even if he could.
This kind of arrogance was generally used by hunters against supernatural creatures.
Moving the threads of her other hands they acted in an erratic way and sliced everything on their paths alongside the body of the guards.
A gruesome vision was shown as their bodies were sliced into more than ten different pieces. Blood gushed and a nasty odor started to spread in all the surroundings but Nikola ignored it.
Her expression was cold, this scene was reminiscing her of her assassin days working for the organization that raised and trained her.
Her threads were special weapons drenched in poison made by Alchemist and different liquids that increased the power of corrosion and sharpness. Even without using Prana, it was easy for her to slice even steel with those threads and now that she was adding Prana to it, she was slashing the guards like they were made out of butter.
"Chameleon, Hacker. How is the situation."
[Wait for an instant….Done!]
Beep!
The door closed and opened under the will of Hacker. She had been working on taking control of the defense system underground without getting caught. But thanks to the current chaos, she had been able to act with complete impunity.
"Chameleon?"
[Sorry. Was a little busy. I managed to finish the job on my side and I recovered the Merchandise.]
"Very well. Let's clean up everything and move to the next target."
Nikola nodded to herself and went deeper down, ready to exterminate everyone.
Meanwhile, walking behind them, Alchemist couldn't help but pout,
"I thought this wasn't supposed to be a complete extermination. Should have just let me poison everyone from the start."
As always, he was ignored. Thus was the pain of being the youngest.

While the Hounds were moving up, Adam, who had been taken short by the decision to attack suddenly leaned down against a broken beam.
"Where do I go next?"
He was wearing a black coat with a white mask and the surroundings were dyed entirely in blood and covered in smashed dead bodies and debris of a destroyed roof.
Not everyone was like Cecilia and not everyone could simply shrug off the effect of increased gravity.
In the end, they all faced a swift death after Adam made sure that it wasn't his gravity that was weak but his mom that was a freak.
Sitting in a badly lit house while wearing nothing but a pair of white panties and a white shirt, Hacker gulped a little at the once again overwhelming destruction before giving the direction of his next target.
She had the impression that he would clean everything pretty fast.
(AN: I know that reading this might not be the most interesting. But I can't always only show the highest and most unique humans. In terms of power, Nikola and the Hounds are well above average. But as you can see, they have a standard team structure and this is the structure most hunters follow until they are at the Executor rank. Humans like Cecilia are the expectation among all exceptions.)
